Rayaburi Hotel Patong in Patong

Probably want to stay somewhere else.

Stayed here in January 2026. Let me start by saying all the interactions I had with the staff were excellent. Front desk people were super nice and responsive. Cleaning and maintenance staff were also great.

The location is also really great. Close to the beach and on a relatively quiet street with a great food court across the road and 7-11 right there.

The staff, no matter how great they are, can compensate for the integrity of the building, nor the behavior of the other guests.

I was in the Loft Wing 3rd floor. There was a door that joins the adjoining room. See the videos attached.

I was constantly awoken by loud speaking guests having a party in the room next door. It was like having them standing right beside me. I was supposed to stay 4 nights and paid 4 nights but these guys were so loud at 5 am or even 6 am that I was only getting 4-5 hours of sleep and checked out after 3 nights.

The room was very clean and cleaning staff did a great job. Bed was very hard. Pillows were great. Lighting of the room was really weird. No shower curtain so water got everywhere.

Not very secure either. No deadbolt on the door.

The hotel doesn't match the pictures; it's old and dirty. The manager is rude and immature. The room smells musty and has no windows. I will never stay here again.

Very ill manners and rude staff. I wasted my money here. The air conditioning was not working. Also they kept on banging the door early morning. When I complained the manager started fighting. The staff was in room from last 5 hours

Avoid this place at all costs.
This has been one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had, and we couldn’t even stay for more than one hour.

Upon arrival, we were told we had been “upgraded,” but the room we received was small, smelly, extremely dusty, and poorly cleaned. The air-conditioning didn’t work properly, and even the toilet paper was already half used.

We had booked a twin double room, but instead we were given one single bed. That was their idea of an upgrade.

The receptionist was rude from the very beginning. She took us through a dirty back-area of the hotel to reach the room — completely unacceptable for guests with luggage. Once we entered the room, a cockroach ran across the floor, right in front of the receptionist. This clearly shows the rooms are not cleaned or maintained properly.

When we asked for another room — a clean, bigger room with two beds as we booked — she refused in a very unprofessional and unfriendly way. I then asked to speak to a manager, and she said there is no manager on site. She claimed the “manager” is someone who only communicates online, lives in Bangkok, and that even staff don’t really know him. She insisted we could leave if we wanted but would not receive any refund. Her attitude and tone were unacceptable for any hotel.

Due to the conditions and the terrible service, we left immediately and did not stay in this accommodation at all.

I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this place.
Dirty rooms, cockroaches, misinformation about room types, rude staff, no management present, and zero willingness to help. This hotel should not be advertised the way it is.

Location we put 1* as per Location of the rooms it's self cause the rooms are in a very bad location.
But the general location is ok cause is near beach.

Additionally, this property is listed as a hotel on Booking.com, but it has none of the facilities a real hotel should have. There is no restaurant, no bar, no proper services, nothing that justifies calling it a hotel. This place should be advertised simply as “rooms,” not a hotel, because it does not meet even the basic standards.
