It was pretty good overall but the biggest thing was the smoke smell. Turkey itself smells like smoke everywhere so if you don't like smoking, good luck. People were smoking in rooms and setting off the fire alarm repeatedly. Even the kitchen staff was smoking and the Smoke was coming through the kitchen into the sitting area

I have been coming to Istanbul for 30 years. The Erboy hotel is my favorite. The rooms are quiet, clean and have adequate space. The staff is wonderful. The breakfast is delicious and has many dishes to choose from. The location is excellent. I just hope you all don’t book this hotel up so I can’t get a reservation here next time. 😀

Wry goof hotel with lift. Excellent location with 5 mins Mk walk to tram, hence, very convenient. The beds in the rooms are comfy, toilets is clean and breakfast is good.

The location was excellent. However, the ceilings were low, and the room felt smaller than expected. Breakfast was also disappointing. The complimentary water provided was reduced to a small 330ml bottle on the second day, and there were an overwhelming number of mirrors in the room, which felt quite distracting.

The room was a bit small, but it was spotlessly clean. There was only one charging outlet by the bed, which was quite inconvenient. In our particular room, the single USB port by the bed had a loose connection and was completely unusable. The hotel is right next to Taksim Square, which makes it super convenient to get everywhere. The airport shuttle drops you off at the square, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel. We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Aspera Altunizade. The garden suite was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Overall it was good experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. On arrival our toilets exhaust system was not functioning we asked to change the room and it was done right away. Breakfast is average. Would be helpful if they write the names of the dishes and what’s in it. Many buses to the location no train or metro.

We booked a Deluxe room with a sea view, but ended up with a small room overlooking the courtyard and rooftops. We could have just as easily booked an economy or standard room, which are much cheaper. It's unclear what makes this a 'Deluxe' room! I admit that I am the type that wants nothing more than a clean bed and a shower from a hotel. In that regard it did well. The AC and the fridge were faulty (they worked, but not well and not easily controlled) and the elevators are tiny and faulty. The breakfast is very good, especially the menemen!

Excellent breakfast, but it was very noisy at night, phone did not work, the water was turned off briefly one night and when it came on again was brown, and fan was variable ranging from cool to hot air. We could not control it

Castillo Rojo is a true diamond. The management and staff of the hotel makes you feel welcomed and so at home. Its location is superb as it has so many eating places on its doorstep. Entertainment at the restaurants was traditional even the kids enjoyed it. My 3 kids who were 16, 13 and 5 absolutely loved it . There was entertainment for all of them and we felt like we were part of the atmosphere....

Everything was fine but the water on swimming pool is so cold, you can't enjoy at all.

we had an amazing stay at this hotel. it is walking distance to many of the tourist attractions and mosques like hagia sofia, blue mosque, grand bazaar… they offer complementary breakfast buffet to all the guests on the rooftop restaurant which is an absolute treat! the breakfast variety isn’t huge but the quality and taste is spot on! and the view from the tables is just another cherry on top!

The service was good; the staff member who helped with my luggage was very enthusiastic. The hygiene was decent, and the location was convenient, with the T1 tram line right outside the hotel entrance. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, so it was a bit noisy. Other than the poor sound insulation, everything else was good.

Location is real good if you will like to visit bazaar or the landmarks, tram station is just in front of the hotel. Night time is a bit quite in this area. Only the cleanliness is terrible, some red mark is on the chair, we move away the bed and found the dirt under the bed. Breakfast is good for me ! Didn't like it. Large rooms, no view. I got the impression that they turn off the central air conditioning at night to save money, so you wake up with the heat. It was good hotel stay with wonderful location

The hotel's location is excellent, but the staff are far from professional. At the front desk, they seem to be doing everything but attending to guests. The TV in the room wasn't working, and the bathroom outlet was pulled out of the wall, exposed. Room cleanliness was average.

Nice little hôtel near Bostancı. Rooms are average and good for a short stay. It is quiet if that is important. Staff is very helpful. Parking is small and limited. Small bar for drinks and snacks. It is on a busy narrow street so finding the place with navigation could a challenge.

The staff were friendly, there was an elevator, it was clean, and the breakfast area had a great view. I was worried because the shower filters in older hotels were often black, but they weren't as dirty as I'd feared! (After two days, they were a bit yellowish.) The location was easy to find, and the proximity to nearby tourist attractions like the terminal and bus stop was a plus.

The hotel is in the proximity of many tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping centers. But what impressed me the most was the way the hotel personnel treated me. One receptionist has even given me Istanbul Card for free for me to be able to roam around the city ❤️.
