My daughter came to Beijing for a Mayday concert, and we booked this hotel, the Celebrity International Hotel, early on because it's only about a ten-minute walk from the Bird's Nest

After the concert, we were back at the hotel in no time, perfect! A special thank you to Manager Ren at the lobby for helping us receive and safely store a package that arrived early, even tagging it and taking a photo to ensure everything was in order – very thoughtful and secure

The only downsides were that the swimming pool was closed and unavailable, and the gym isn't open 24 hours

The front desk service was very attentive, proactively informing us about breakfast. The Olympic Park view is nice, and it's convenient for getting around with parking available. I'll definitely come again.

The Shangri-La at Shougang Park is relatively new, and the hygiene is absolutely top-notch – spotless! Even the linens and amenities are high quality, so no worries about cleanliness when traveling with kids

The rooms are large with big beds, and the bathrooms have a separate wet and dry area, kept very clean by frequent housekeeping. The window view overlooks the Yongding River, offering beautiful sunsets

If you purchase the Bud Paradise package, you can visit twice during your stay. There are also outdoor public children's play facilities. On the downside: Food delivery isn't brought to your room
