But seeing other places around, I think the hotel gives a good “value for money”. The staff is very friendly (there are only two people there- the reception guy and the breakfast chef girl)

The hotel and the room is clean, although the furniture and decor sometimes shows sign of wear. After the friendliness of the staff, location is the best thing about the hotel

The towels are old, worn out, and well past their best days. Breakfast is very basic and offers limited variety. Overall, I don't understand how this hotel is rated as a four-star property

Love it! But if you can't climb 3 floors of stairs, feel claustrophobic in stylish rooms that are about 12 square meters, are allergic to modern Mediterranean cuisine and are afraid of staying in non-touristy areas, you might want to stay away from this place

Communal Hotel Sololaki is in a quiet neighborhood, yet it's a quick walk to bars, restaurants, old town, and the funicular to Mtatsminda. Breakfast is amazing, and staff create a warm and welcoming environment

We stayed at 2 of the Communal group of hotels on our recent trip to Georgia: both are quality smaller hotels, decorated with flair, with friendly and obliging staff

The room is large and has a balcony. The transportation is convenient, with a Carrefour supermarket and a bar street nearby. Breakfast is relatively simple, but sufficient and delicious. Overall feeling good.

Every time I would want to sleep I’d have to brush off random bits of it off of the bed and I’m sure a four star hotel shouldn’t have dusty uncomfortable room?? The service was very good in my case but the breakfast was repetitive

A homestay with a nice environment, clean and sanitary. The only drawback is that the carpet in the room has a smell. The breakfast is quite rich, with bread, milk, juice, eggs and vegetable salad.

Also I advice you to take their airport transfer because it is better than becoming a victim of fraudulent taxi drivers there. I will definitely stay here again if I decide to return to Tbilisi!

The hotel is located in calm neighborhood at a 15 to 20 minutes walk from the old city and a nearby metro station if you don't want to walk

I stayed for four days, the room was amazing with a terrace and a wonderful view over the river and the city, very clean and comfy bed

I visited this hotel yesterday as a day guest to use the swimming pool, not as a hotel guest. I also visited the pool last year and had a good experience, so I was disappointed this time

Perhaps it was because I arrived quite late, but unfortunately something seemed wrong with the pool water. After washing my hair, it was left with a very strong musty, moldy smell that would not go away

We booked and read the reviews afterwards. We were therefore a but apprehensive, however we had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was nice, enough to choose from. The pool was clean and not overcrowded

Good quiet location in the old town, not in the very crowdy area. Nice design inside, the rooftop pool is great, on the mountain side. The only bad point is the bad smell in the bathroom, morning time

The location and access to the city center by taxi is about a quarter way in the bus stop at the hotel's alley and half-lorry fare. I was pleased with the hotel in general, the staffing behavior was also very good
