It was only for 1 night, everything go smoothly in the checking. The decorations for the room needs to be updated. They have a shoes-cleaner in the reception quite curious.
Basic rooms and facilities but a great shower, a comfy bed, good staff that speak better English than most English people, and a few good local eateries.
The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The online pics did not reflect the esthetic of the hotel. We stayed during Oktoberfest and the hotel was clean and quiet.
Great hotel with very good breakfast Friendly staff, everything very clean
Very good and the hotel is very user-friendly

Clean, with comfortable beds but extremely dated and very small. No elevator so be sure to be travelling light if you end up on the 3rd floor like us. Main railway, bus station and city centre all within easy walking distance.
This location was really good. Easy walk to train station and the old town. Rooms were basic but clean. No elevator so if that is an issue don't stay here.
The hotel is good, located in the center, 5 minutes from the train station. The downsides are no elevator and mediocre cleaning.
Hotel - clean and well maintain, no elevator Food - same everyday Staff - not so helpful Area - lots of restaurant, walkable, 7 mins walk to Bahnhofplatz (train station/central station)
Small room, but I knew that when I booked. Clean, modern. A bit noisy in the morning due to breakfast area just below the room.
Convenient location, good size rooms and clean. Interesting decoration with traditional touches but fairly modern rooms. Just be aware that very late check-in requires calling a night phone, there is nobody in reception.

Check-in is at 2 PM. If you want to check in earlier, you have to pay an extra 20 Euros. Luggage storage costs 8 Euros. The staff said the fees were listed and we must have overlooked them. If you arrive at the hotel after 2 PM, the price and facilities are definitely a good deal. But if you need to check in before 2 PM and pay an additional 20 Euros to get into your room, then you should really think...
Location is excelent and many small restaurants and groceries that opens until more than 20:00. This is the time where everything is closed in Munich. All transportation is at 100 metres. Just to consider that this is the beginning of a red zone. Finally, cleaning service of the hotel a disaster. People of the restaurant are quite good.
The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. It's very close to the city center and not far from the train station, making transportation convenient. It's a great choice for solo travelers and overall offers good value for money.
Pretty standard rooms, clean and spacious. The only issue is the location, don’t let the pictures fool you when you walk around this area it’s like a scene straight out of the film city of god. Apart from the slum lords, sleeping drunks and clientele from several nearby brothels which litter the street, the hotel is in a nice spot right by the central train station, walking distance from the city centre...
Really good location, besides being in a red light district. I didn't have any feelings of being unsafe, but may be a concern for other travellers. Room has no AC, so it's sweaty until the sun sets, and the noise on the street means window can't be left open overnight. Other wise the room is soundproof. Very basic room but the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, shower pressure was good. Lots...
Very close to the main train station, just a 5-minute walk. Breakfast was decent.

On booking we wanted a parking and breakfast included. When we arrived no parking and on the morning no breakfast included, we payed extra. Dont know if the problem isnon booking.com but this misled our decision.
Simple but very clean. Great location. Friendly staff. This hotel saved us from a pretty horrendous Airbnb.
A good hotel close to the train station, welcoming staff, very nice breakfast, clean rooms
Very smooth check in and check out. Location is so convenient to the train and it being right in the center of the city. Staff is super friendly and super helpful. Rooms are just what i needed for my stay, having everything i needed. Great choice !!
Very nice experience in hotel Andra and in the beautiful Bayern. Smooth from check-in to check out. Adequate sized rooms and nice breakfast. Kind and friendly staff. Sure will revisit, if staying in Munich. Great value for money.
Basic hotel near Munich city centre but clean and comfortable rooms. It's located in the "turkish" street so plenty of halal and Mediterranean shops and restaurants around. There's also a supermarket close to the hotel. The best thing I liked is the sound proof windows.

This was a short stay. It's a 5-minute walk from the tram stop, and from Central Station, it takes about 20 minutes without changing trams. The staff were friendly and helpful during check-in. The room was clean and in good condition. The soundproofing was adequate, and while I didn't eat breakfast, it looked clean.
We stayed as two families (with older children) a total of 8 and it was a great base in a very safe neighbourhood, if you don't mind catching trams, only 15 minutes to Marienplatz in the centre of Munich. Eric and his staff were very helpful in advising and guiding us, and answering our queries before we arrived and during the booking process. Some great reasonable restaurants serving traditional...
Absolutely wonderful staff! So kind and friendly! Beds were very comfy and rooms provided ample space for us! Breakfast was also delicious! We loved our stay here!
This is a great place to stay in Munich. Close to convenient amenities and the tram that takes you right into the city. Walking distance to Palace Nymphburg.
I can’t say enough wonderful things! The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet. The members of the hotel staff were polite and answered all of our questions. Traveling alone with an event nearby. Nighttime check-in was straightforward. Friendly staff, everything very clean. Breakfast was plentiful, but only vegetarian.
I like that it was really quiet and clean. It is a bit from the central part of the city but it is pleasant. It's is also not that far from a metro station, all one need to do is to take the bus and arrive to the station in 10 minutes.
I was very happy with my small room in the basement; it had everything I needed, including a small refrigerator and a coffee machine 😍. The staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly. Despite the distance to my destinations, I found the location very convenient because there's a bus stop right nearby, and the buses run regularly and on time. Thank you for the pleasant stay.
Great place to stay in Munich away from the city's hustle and bustle. There is no problem to leave your car there and hit the city using public transport. The staff in the hotel was really helpful and very kind. The room was clean and comfortable and the area is peaceful and quiet. Perfect place to relax.
Great Wygodny, przyjazny hotel. Idealne miejsce do zarówno na pobyt krótki jak i długi. Bardzo dobre położenie, bezpośrednio przy ładnym dużym lesie z jeziorem. Do centrum miasta 20 min autem. 5 minut piechotą od hotelu fajną grecka restauracja.
Lovely little hotel that is more like a Bavarian guesthouse. Stayed here for a business trip visiting Munich Messe. Nice and quiet, slept well. Nice hot shower. Staff are really helpful. Breakfast was sufficient, hot food, some meats/hams and bread/pastries. Hotel is well placed to get to Trudering U-Bahn station, which is 2 stops from the Messe. Would certainly stay here again.

The room is cozy and the bedding is very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit tiny. There’s a coffee machine with hot water at the lobby for all guests, not in the room. The breakfast place is intimate but they offer a wide choice of food and drinks. Staff are always friendly.
Very clean and well designed room for a couple or solo travel for price under 100 Euro..location was cery quiet street but just 5 min walk to main station entrance..many street food avaialble in adjacent streets.
Stayed for a night, was convenient close to the rail road station on the way to Austria. Friendly staff. Free tea and coffee. You can help yourself to drinks and snacks as long as you write in down for payment the next morning. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Thank you.
The location is just within 5min walking distance from the Munich Central Station. The staff, Lia is very kind and helpful. Room is nice and clean. They do provide free coffee and tea in the lobby.
Breakfast was great. Good proximity to the railway station was a big plus walking at night was a bit scary.
Superb location, approx 15 minutes walk to Octoberfest and Old Town. Room is clean and water pressure is good. However, the sound insulation is really bad. Not recommend for light sleeper. Breakfast offer vegan option.

Definitely my favourite place to stay in Munich. Still not far from haubtbahnhof, but nice and quiet. WONDERFUL staff amd super comfortable
The room was ok like for two people it was good amount of space. However the beds really uncomfortable, like you wake up with back pain. The location is amazing and the staff is friendly. Overall ok if you want something close to the center but might not be good if you want comfy beds
We had a great stay here ! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for traveling. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even better. It’s just a short 2-minute walk to the metro, which was super convenient. The only downside was the lack of in-room amenities like slippers, toothbrushes, and there wasn’t really a view—but overall, it didn’t take...
Small hotel. The price was ok. Breakfast was fine but nothing outstanding. The room was clean but no amenities, even kettle was not offered at the room. The pillows should be reevaluated from the hotel to change , because is not comfortable at all. Overall was fine for the price.
This is a very satisfying hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. It was our first time in Munich and everything was unfamiliar. It was an interesting and fun trip, but it was also tiring. Great place to be! Great service! Room is clean, breakfast was great! I just ask for sitting on the lobby to do my work on laptop, the hotel provides me a room for free to do my work without interruptions. Thanks again! 🙏
Large apartment which is tough to find in Europe. Sound proof rooms were incredible. Good location. Close to train to get to old town. Kitchen lacked dish towels and a couple other things and ran out of toilet paper during our stay
What a wonderful Hotel, staff were superb, unbelievably easy to access the uban from the hotel. The breakfast was the best we've ever had, fantastic selection, catered for all tastes A great stay, we can highly recommend staying at the Park Hotel
Located right next to a Ubahn station. I stayed here with my family and it was a beautiful experience. They have all the necessary items present in the apartment. Grocery shops are about 2 mins away. Staff were also friendly.

I was on a business trip to Munich, and it just so happened that the Photon Quantum Automation Conference was being held at the same time. Since I couldn't find a hotel within my budget, I chose this one. The location is really great; it's convenient to the subway, city center, attractions, and the convention center. There's a chain supermarket less than 200 meters away. The hotel's buffet breakfast...
The staff were lovely and accommodating. They made me feel very welcome and at ease. The hotel has a very antique feel with the decor. I was lucky enough to stay while the big local market was happening right next door! The WiFi wasn’t working in the rooms, but I didn’t spend much time in the hotel anyways. If I came back to Munich I’d try to stay here again!
Appreciated the early check-in! We stumbled on this place when almost all hotels in Munich were booked. in fact, it's an easy walk to the center (15 minutes or so) with even easier access to Gartnerplatz. The hotel was nicely situated with lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The rooms were clean and there was A/C. The staff was very helpful and could speak English. Lastly the breakfast options were fine with salty and sweet options. Very nice stay !
Location of the hotel is amazing. You get a chance to stay right in the center of the city, with a lot of good "non-touristic" restaurants nearby. Atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. A bit disappointed by this hotel. The room was ok and we had a nice balcony. But the light on the balcony was broken. The shower drain didn’t work well, so each time we took a shower, the entire bathroom flooded. The staff was rather unfriendly. A simple good morning was too much to ask. The breakfast was a mess. I don’t understand the bad reviews! I had a small room but it was just me and it was all that I needed. The breakfast was great for something that’s complimentary. Would stay here again. Don’t stay here if you expect to stay in a generic modern hotel, this one has character and charm :)
Basic but good travel options around the area
It was relatively reasonable for the area, which was helpful, but I was surprised that there were no pillows on the bed. The room lock was a bit old-fashioned and I had a bit of trouble opening it, although this may not be unusual in Europe.
Staff was extra-helpful and anxious to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel’s location near the Tiergarten is charming (though one must understand that the center city isa a U-Bahn ride away) A very nice experience.

Nice hotel by Maxvorstad. Good pillows, good bed, good shower head, good everything. Haven't tried the food, but will soon. This place is awesome.

An outstanding stay at the Hotel Carlton Munich! The hotel not only boasts a prime location but also excellent service and comfortable rooms. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel's facilities and cleanliness were first-class. I highly recommend the Hotel Carlton Munich and am already looking forward to my next visit!
Excellent, convenient, affordable, old-school hotel. Handsome appointments, well-restored, nice antique vibe. This was such a fun hotel to stay in, I loved it! The staff were also some of the nicest people, they really made us feel welcome in Munich and were so helpful. I came to Munich for the Christmas markets and this hotel is in a great location for that, everything is close by and within walking distance. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, quirky hotel to stay
Rooms are very nice and clean. The room decoration, like a train cabin, is very nice. The hotel location is very convenient for visiting the city center. The hotel staff was very friendly and supportive. They helped me set up the app to pay for parking because it was available only in German. They also gave us a flexible check out. I will stay there again when I come back
The room was very clean. Breakfast was great. No issues with service, everyone was very considerate. As a tall guy the deep and long bath was very much appreciated after all the walking. First time I have been able to str tch my legs out on a bath fully in years.
We didn’t opt for breakfast so I can’t speak to that question. But, the front desk and staff here were so kind and the hotel is adorable. My son said it was the coolest hotel he’s ever stayed in. I liked the residential feel of the street although it was close to everything! We will stay again!
