First time to stay in a 5 star hotel that doesn’t offer toiletries. You would think it’s Andaz and it’s supposed to be premium since we stayed with other Andaz before, but this one doesn’t have any toiletries like the basic suchnas lotion. It was a lovely hotel and the staff was very courteous. The food was very good. The only problem we experienced was our inability to regulate the heat/temperature in our room. One minute we are sweating, so we opened the door and the next it was freezing. The staff was not able to help with this issue.

Wonderful staff—extremely helpful and welcoming. We woke up on St. Nicholas day with a bag full of treats outside our door. Great location, away from the touristy, crowded areas but close to lovely restaurants and shops. The bus and tram stop all within one block and you can use them to get to any location in Munich.

The Mandarin Oriental never disappoints, and its service is particularly outstanding. From the front desk to the restaurants, housekeeping, and concierge, every aspect is impeccable; feeling at home is a true experience. Convenient to subway to easily take you anywhere in town. Very nice staff. A special shout out to Andreas, who was very helpful providing information/easy directions regarding restaurants within walking distance. This stylish hotel is conveniently located in front of the station. It was nice that they had a sauna on the terrace where you could even enjoy some outdoor air. We stayed here for the weekend and booked a double room, it was spacious, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
