Where to stay in Munchen

Clean rooms with plenty of space. Only thing: maybe loose the wall to wall carpets as i doubt they can be cleaned as well as hard floors. Beds were not the best, but reasonable for the price. Location: alright. Pretty close the center and the central station, although it’s not the nicest neighbourhood. Very friendly service

Overall a nice hotel but it was very loud at night, I found that it got noisy around dinner time at the restaurant with seating in the courtyard and doesn't quiet down till around 11 30pm, so not very good for light sleepers. Also during our stay there was a film festival which we were not advised of when booking that had multiple floodlights shining into our room.

Hotel in need of an upgrade for the rooms. Wasnt very clean and the bathroom was very old fashioned with rust stains on the tiles. The bed was way too uncomfortable and felt like a waterbed it was so soft. Staff seemed pleasent and the Breakfast was just okay but again downstairs and reception area could do with modernisation. Friendly and helpful staff and clean hotel with large rooms. The hotel is well positioned near the railway station and an easy walk to the old town. Decent breakfast in the basement. Although it is a bit non descript, it makes a good base and is also extremely close to the Oktoberfest arena. Beds are a bit soft for my liking.

Second time at this property. Great location next to U5 stop, bakery and great restaurant within 2 blocks, perfect location for Oktoberfest or Frühlingsfest. Have stayed in hotel and the efficiencies and both are good. Staff wonderful! One of our party has bad knee and so they changed the efficiency he was in to ground floor (no elevator on efficiency building). Will stay again.

Was expecting much more considering the other reviews. The mattress was rather hard, which is not the best for someone with back problems. Drinks at the bar were ok but too expensive for the quality. Brekfast was too repetitive and I wasn't fond of the oil they used for the scrambled eggs. I'd give it a 2.5 if I could

Wonderful stay at Park Hotel Laim in the 2 bedroom serviced apartment. The location is superb right across from the U5 station and a block from the tram service. The hotel is very basic. There were issues with the water pressure (it was very low in the morning when everyone was showering). Everything in the room felt quite old and worn out. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (I left my phone at the hotel and they immediately sent it via DHL when I asked). They were always there to assist. They truly are amazing. The hotel is in a great location, 15 min walk to most locations. Small room, walls are paper thin, can be noisy at night, beds are not very comfortable. Stayed 5 nights and room was never cleaned.

The hotel’s location is good, within walking distance of major attractions and public transport. Location is great. Metro station right around the corner. The hotel is at the foot of the old town. Short walk from the Isar. Rooms are very basic. Doors are thin, you can hear a lot from the hallway and other rooms.

The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, close to Place Maria, all within walking distance. Public transportation is also readily available. It's about 3 tram stops from Munich Station. It's a little far away, but it's not noisy, so that's good. The staff are very kind. They kindly gave me the Wi-Fi password, and when I bought food from outside, they gave me a fork and spoon.

Very good, the front desk was very polite. I checked in at midnight, but after making a few phone calls, I was safely checked in. It was just too late and there was no elevator to use, so carrying the suitcase upstairs was a bit difficult.

It's about ten minutes from the light rail station and has a nice environment. The breakfast quality is acceptable, and the front desk service is also good. However, it was so cold, the heating was a bit insufficient, and my feet were freezing in the middle of the night.

Stayed at a&o München Hauptbahnhof. The room was very basic but clean, with a simple bed and small bathroom. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Good location near the main station. The only downside is that it’s close to the road, so you can hear the tram noise. Fine for a short, budget stay.

Basic hotel near Munich city centre but clean and comfortable rooms. It's located in the "turkish" street so plenty of halal and Mediterranean shops and restaurants around. There's also a supermarket close to the hotel. The best thing I liked is the sound proof windows.
