The hotel is not worth 4 stars! Breakfast is worth 2 star hotel - very limited choice - no pamcakes, no wafles☹️ SPA opens at 11h00, so it's not possible to visit it before breakfast. Service below average (they ask to send them the reservation letter when checking in and I had to write them an e-mail for the invoice 2 days after they promised to send it to me!). Strange rooms with open bathroom. WC feels like a hole. Not very new. However, clean and the bed was comfortable. I will choose another hotel the next time!

Awful. I stayed here for a number of nights in February. The room was Ok but the service was dreadful. The hotel accepted full payment for the reservation but subsequently withdrew all access to the bar and restaurant area for the duration of my stay - for a ‘private function’. Also not allowed to use the stairs. I complained about this - which caused the receptionist to use a very unpleasant word in German to a colleague about me. Very disappointing stay.

I often travel to Frankfurt for work, and staying at the Innside Frankfurt is always a pleasure. The hotel consistently delivers excellent service and provides the perfect environment for rest. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and well designed, making every stay relaxing.

The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, which creates a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. On the occasions when I have dined at the hotel, the food has been truly delicious and of high quality.

This is a hotel I always look forward to returning to, because I know I will enjoy both outstanding service and genuine hospitality.

Disappointing Stay – 4 Stars Hotel with 0 Star Service

I’m extremely disappointed with my stay at INNSiDE Ostend by Meliá. The experience was far below the standards expected of a 4-star hotel.

1. The room was advertised with a city view, but there was none.
2. Upon check-in, the bath gel bottle was completely empty.
3. Basic amenities were missing – no bedroom slippers, no kettle, and not even proper toiletries.
4. The lamp in the room wasn’t working.
5. The service was shockingly not helpful. When I asked for the bath gel to be refilled at the counter, the staff said someone would bring it up. After waiting, I called to check, only to be told to bring the empty bottle down myself. He kept saying he couldn’t hear me properly over the phone and insisted I go down personally. He said that he is the only staff on duty. How is this possible?

For a hotel under the Meliá brand and rated four stars, the service quality and room upkeep were unacceptable. This stay felt more like a budget hostel experience than a proper hotel.

Definitely not worth the price!!

I always stay at this hotel when visiting Frankfurt, and have done so since 2021. They offer rooms that are well organized, have plenty of space, and are very quiet if facing the courtyard. Shraddha and her team provide outstanding customer service and will address any issues to the best of their ability. Also want to mention the convenient location as it's very close to Ostbanhof (less than 20 minutes by train to the airport), the U-Bahn (less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel), and the S-Bahn (less than 10 minutes walk to Ostendstrasse). There is a Rewe and a DM right next to the hotel. Overall, it's highly recommended.

Still feel good, choose it for the second time. But there is no kettle in the room, every time you want hot water, you have to go to the restaurant on the first floor, which is a bit uncomfortable

Good environment, large room, free mini bar drinks

This is one of my favorite hotel because it offers a good value for the money. It’s clean, the service is great and rooms are new. They are small but if you are just looking for a place to sleep is more than enough

Great hotel and breakfast, a bit dusty room .

INNSiDE Frankfurt Ostend is a hotel that wears its modernity like a well-tailored suit—sleek, confident, and a touch impersonal. Tucked into the ever-evolving Ostend district, it occupies a sweet spot between the city’s businesslike pragmatism and its more playful, creative side. A short walk from the European Central Bank, the location whispers convenience without the pomp of a central tourist hub.

But what truly sets this hotel apart is its reception—a rarity in the world of chain hospitality. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a towering gentleman whose warmth and competence were as outsized as his frame. Every issue, every request, was met with a smile and a swift solution. In a world of transactional service, this felt like a masterclass in genuine hospitality.

The rooms, however, tell a slightly more complicated story. Minimalist in design, they strive for functionality over flair, though the open-concept bathroom feels more like a design experiment gone awry. The glass panels might please the architectural purist, but they offer all the privacy of a whispered secret in a crowded room. Yet the complimentary sodas in the minibar—a small, almost inconsequential gesture—manage to leave an outsized impression, a quiet acknowledgment that someone, somewhere, thought about your comfort.

Breakfast at INNSiDE feels like a promise unfulfilled. The setting is all polish and professionalism, but the selection doesn’t quite measure up. There’s nothing wrong with what’s offered—it’s perfectly adequate—but for a hotel that positions itself as cutting-edge, you can’t help but hope for a little more adventure on your plate.

Ultimately, INNSiDE Frankfurt Ostend is a hotel of contrasts. It excels in the details that matter most—a stellar reception team, thoughtful amenities—while stumbling on some of the finer points. But for travelers who appreciate modern design and a warm welcome, it offers a solid, if slightly uneven, home base in the heart of Frankfurt’s new east.
