Hotels with pool on first line in Hersonissos

The service was excellent, great food and well-designed hotel. The location is fabulous with a private beach. The room was nice, but there is a significant mosquitos issue. You literally can’t sit in the terrace

It was amazing, from the beginning we arrived until we checked out, everything was beyond exceptional. The staff was always very polite. The hotel is very modern and has everything you need for a good stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better

My only wish is that there is an English speaking channel that isn’t the news or finances! We’ve upgraded to the private terrace again (essence room) - a real sun spot! The breakfast was the perfect way to start the day! Great location; the hotel provides free sun loungers on the beach for staying guests

The hotel’s pool could easily belong in a scene from White Lotus. We loved it so much that we ended up spending most of our time there

My experience at NEMA was 10/10, so much so, I’ve already booked again for next year having had such an amazing stay. Every member of staff from the reception, to the dining room, to the domestic were exemplary

One particular evening, his favourite dessert was not on display and the chef asked if everything was alright, when I joked there was no jelly, he appeared with a few jellies for him

Outstanding customer service! Waiters and cleaners were also extremely attentive, the waiters joked with our daughter calling her 'Max' as she looked liked Max from Stranger Things and the cleaners always left our rooms spotless, leaving sweets on the pillow or displaying our pjs on the bed

They then went out of their way to ensure their was lots of variety of foods for him to choose from each always checking in with us each evening to ensure he was ok

Beach was small with paid sun-beds and umbrella, but last day we just stayed around pool where beds are free and went for few dips in the see from there. Inflatables are free to use and stacked by the pool

Victoria was fantastic, I've had many massages and she was by far the best

Location In prime location of shops, bars and restaurants. Beach opposite hotel but you have to pay for sun beds. Not much room to just lie on the sand as beds crammed together

The pool area is ok but definitely has the feel of it having once been a car park or something. Breakfast is just ok, food selection is broad but the quality is really quite poor

The shot of the pool looks big when in reality it is much smaller. As it was really busy, we didn't want to swim in it. Breakfast is 5/10, same menu and pretty standard

It is very close to the strip which has all the restaurants there and a beach. The hotel is definitely not 4 stars

• I stayed half board during my stay and honestly the selection of food was wonderful and I liked that they provided traditional Greek food which was great to try

I stayed for a week! Pros: • The hotel staff are lovely, that is everybody from the house keepers to the kitchen and wait staff to the people at the front desk

Also just want to give a shout out to Julia the guest relations manager, such a lovely lady and very helpful when booking my excursion to Santorini

Breads and pastries were to die for. Good location right in the middle of Hersonissos and just a few feet from the beach

I have stayed at multiple JW and Ritz hotels and the service here is at that level if not better. The hotel itself is immaculate. Our room was always super clean with fresh towels and sheets

The breakfast was perfect, so much choice! The hotel is well located with a huge amount of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, and lovely places like Koutouloufari and Stalis just a short distance away

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and had amazing service throughout! They allowed early and late checkout for us as we had difficult flight times, called us multiple taxis to get around the beautiful island and were just helpful start to finish

There are also rental car agencies near the hotel where you can rent a car for a day and go hike Timios Stavros (the tallest mountain on Crete and another Unesco heritage site)

We had the best time at Vasia Boulevard. The staff were amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh bedding supplied everyday

Pool area is very quiet and doesnt really get much sun in the day time until later, I only spent my first day around the pool and was alone most of the time, the rest of the time I went to the beach or excursions

There are plenty of supermarkets, pharmacies, and public transport nearby. Nearby one of my favourites to visit was Mare Mio beach and resto, €10 for a sunbed for the day and the food was lovely

Special shout outs to Genti the barman, who was really funny; friendly and helpful, Elli and Yannis at reception, and the waiting staff at breakfast and dinner all lovely, friendly and helpful as I was travelling solo

I went across to the reception, and someone came over to fix it right away! They had also saved me some light salad/ cheeses/ meats as it was past the dinner time, which I thought was really nice

They are all there to answer any questions you may have. The bar prices are really reasonable, €3. 06) for a glass of local wine! The breakfast and dinner were also good, plenty of variety

It does mention that towels are only cleaned once every 2 days, but in a 7 day-stay, I think my bedding was only changed twice, so the cleaning schedule is a bit sporadic

This is our third time there, after twice in 2012+2013, and now again in 2025! What can I say - it was such a wise choice to return! Everything that made it a magical paradise in the past has stayed the same, and on top of that, some things were even upgraded (the new pool and renovated eating area are beautiful)

Perfect accomodation, very clean and spacious, also the furniture is very modern and new. The best is the private outdoor area with a private pool. There is a fence around this area, for a maximum of privacy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff in particular Mike and Babis were so welcoming and looked after us in the restaurant. The villas are well equipped and the private pools a really good size

The food in the restaurant is very, very tasty and of a very high quality, if you like greek food. ) The staff is very, very friendly and helpful in every situation

Nothing was too much bother for the staff. Genuinely happy staff that cared about their customers visiting. We look forward to returning to this hotel/resort

It was like a family :-) At least, the price is European average and very OK for the overall quality. For us it is a rating of 100%, we come back :-)

And given the pool is too cold the sea is 23 deg and a better option in October. Overall though, a great hotel, we loved it and the people gave great friendly service

We had the most amazing stay for one week at this Galazio Beach resort. The staff were amazing- so kind and generous and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable

Also a lovely designed pool with swim up rooms and plenty of very comfy sunbeds. Breakfast is fabulous with lots of choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt pastries and hot choices

They are so happy and friendly they really make the hotel feel very special. A couple of call outs to improve the hotel: 1. The pool really needs to be heated, the airtemp was 23 deg but the pool was too cold to swim in

The beach beds are an extra €10 per day for residents, the public can access them for €15, somehow feels wrong and I’m sure someone can explain it, I noticed it caught a few people out

The breakfast buffet is out of this world and the restaurant was also delicious. The hotel is located just across the road from the beach which is great for swimming and relaxing

First impressions were that this is not the prettiest location it was extremely central you had so many shops restaurants, pharmacy banks everything you could need, we could see the sea and the hills which had their own charm

It had a small pool area which was clean but we never used it because everyday we were out at either the beach or to the small villages with their amazing charms

We had four beds two pushed together in the larger bedroom, two hairdryers, a full fridge including ice box, a good sized bathroom with small sized cubicle shower and always plenty of hot water whenever we needed, we had two televisions and always found something to watch for the amount off time we where in the room but I would probably recommend a firestick or similar if you are people who like to...

Breakfast was great as a Brit it’s not bacon everyday but we could always find something, all very fresh locally sourced good quality and lots of homemade food we would recommend there version of baked beans, homemade breads, carrot cake and much more as a teaholic I always take my own tea but found myself drinking their coffee every morning from the machine you won’t be disappointed absolutely great...

What makes this hotel special is the costumer service this is family run and they’re all so warm and helpful, like minded very hard working people who obviously love what they and it shows Owners Themis his wife Gordana and son Alexandra couldn't be any more welcoming and helpful

First impressions of the room were that it could do with updating and I almost felt like I had made a mistake booking this, they had given us a upgrade which meant we had 2 bedrooms with lots of storage for all our clothes etc

Unlike many hotels right by the beach road where music and crowds go on until late, this one is in a much calmer spot The hotel is family-run, and you feel that personal touch everywhere

Agrabella Hotel is such a gem in Hersonissos! The location is spot-on, just a short walk (2–3 minutes) to tavernas, supermarkets, the bus stop, and the beach, but tucked away in a quiet spot, away from the late night noise you usually get right by the sea It’s a family-run business, and you can really feel the care

The only thing to note is that most rooms don’t have sea views, except some of the top-floor apartments, but in return you enjoy peace and quiet during the night

The rooms fit every budget, and cleanliness was excellent in our experience daily tidying, frequent towel changes, and fresh sheets twice a week Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, including local dishes, hot options, desserts, coffee and juices

Overall, a great balance of location, hospitality and value for money. Hersonissos itself is a lovely destination, and staying here made our trip even better

Very clean hotel with pool not crowded and also available just for hotel guest, just 5 minutes from the city. good wi fi and nice breakfast. we will visit them again maybe September

Location is the best near the center as well the beach was within 5 minutes walking. the staff is friendly and ready to assist as well to help you. it was clean with good service

Personal is kind and responsive. Not so far see and mountains ☺️ And shops to by souvenirs. Pool is good and there are sun loungers. You are in the midle of the Hersonissos

Everything we asked from the hotel staff was done immediately, for example toilet paper. The food was buffet style and you could choose from a wide variety of meats and vegetables

We didn't have big demands, the room and the hotel were fine, we asked the staff where to go for a bath and for food and they pointed us to the best locations, we stayed 3 days

The beach access right in front the hotel is a mix between sand, pebbles and spectacular rocks, we absolutely loved it !!!, but if sandy beaches are more to your liking, they are to be found less than 10 min walk either left or right of the hotel

The hotel has an absolutely fantastic location – right by the sea, with breathtaking views. Our room was beautiful and had a stunning view of the water

Robes, slippers, beach towels, Scandinavian Skog ( lush hotel amenities!!). Loved it!! The breakfast was on the rooftop , and had all you need to kickstart the day. So delicious and great variation

Anna Maria made us feel very cozy, always with a smile and ready to assist at all times. We really enjoyed the tasteful breakfast at the roof top bar/restaurant, overlooking the amazing sea and the clear blue sky

We stayed for 14 days at this beautiful and cosy hotel. We booked two rooms with sea view and the rooms were clean, comfy and had all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay

Mrs Christilo was such a gem! ❤️ The whole team is so helpful and has the best hospitality! We really really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located slightly sheltered from the nightlife noise and has great views

I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine

Always smiling and doing all they could to make our stay special. Perfect location away from the melee of the main resort, but walkable ( might want a cab back up the hill)

A lovely village only a few minutes stroll, provided a wealth of attractive tavernas and small shops

There is a swimming pool on the top floor, and the view is very nice. We choose half-board (buffet). Breakfast was always excellent

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just steps from the beach. The pool is small but ideal for chilling out. No need to set an alarm to reserve sunbeds! Everyone just came and went as they pleased

Very handy for the beach, shops and bars. Our room was quiet with a small balcony overlooking the pool. The shower was small but manageable. Staff on the most part were very welcoming and helpful

There are several beaches within walking distance. You do need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas at those, but the prices were very reasonable. We stayed on a half-board basis

Hotel Very close to the beach but there isn't much sand this side of hersonissos. As it's near the end of season many shops/restaurants are closing so it's a more quieter environment and not too rowdy

The hotel is great so are the staff the food is awful it was cold every time and there is not enough sunbeds no hand rails down to the pool and to get to the beach are about 20 steps which is not disabled friendly

loved the food, the location of the hotel was perfect. such a relaxed pool space never had problem getting a sunbed. overall loved our stay in Mari Kristen and would most definitley return , thank you Dave and Sandra

I stayed at the Alia beach hotel for 10 nights. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The pool was great (needed some maintenance but I assume this is sorted over winter)

Would say though, some of the pictures don’t reflect the hotel. The beach bar is not on the beach and the pool is very small. There’s only one type of room ( two beds pushed together no double bed

Really really good food for good prices! nice service and the location is top! We were here in the Restaurant and the beach lounges (not in the hotel) and it is so nice and food is super delicious!! Would give 10 stars if i could

All in all very good value for money. There is also an excellent beach side restaurant with good food and wonderful staff - especially Niko. I'm looking for to returning again in the spring

The hotel provide sunbeds for an extra fee, which we maybe were not expecting but it was totally fair and worth it. The breakfast buffet is simple but filling

Amazing location right on the beach and plenty of places to eat and explore. Really friendly service at the hotel and the bar especially. They make a good cocktail but it’s quite overpriced for what it is

Always helpful, always available to support and act with warm. The hotel is not to big and small and lovley looking, the pool is warm and never to busy as only a certain amount of guests can stay

We stayed in the penthouse and the view, the space, the jaccuzzi. Wow! Also the people keeping the hotel are nice and hospilitable. The cafe in the poolarea is good for lunch and also for drinks at night

The garden and swimmingpool is amazing. There are always sundbeds available. One of the party stayed in hotelroom wich is spacious and with lovely views from balcony

petra beach gets the full stars from me and i'd recommend to those who want a quiet safe stay somewhere in crete

The rooms are just spacious and lovley, with a kettle and fridge, with a table inside to, and we had a nice balcony to sit on. You can rent a car near by and book sailing trips across. It felt almost like being at home

Bella Vista is a small, family run hotel. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest beach (40 mins) but what it offers more than compensates for this

The location will provide a very authentic experience of Crete. Literally 5-6 walk to a square full of restaurants and Tavernas which are all excellent. And where we also booked our trip to Spinalonga with the lovely Bob

We are walking the Corfu trail with 3 Friends, and this hotel was perfect for our stop! Everybody was so friendly and enthousiastic. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. The rooms were spacious and very clean

We had a room in the ground floor, it was a bit dark inside, the furnishings are mediterranean-rustic style. The staff was very nice and the bartender mixed great cocktails. The beach is not far away from the hotel.

Cretan Garden Hotel is a wonderful quiet place owned by a very warm and welcoming family. Both the accommodation space and the bar and restaurant offer exceptional services maintained by wonderful and helpful people

For those who love other beautiful beaches you need a car and the island is very large to reach a beautiful beach from where the resort is located it can take almost 4 hours

The drinks are a good price and always a service with a smile. There is a local shop 2 minutes walk away and the beach is about a 5 minute walk

We are leaving here with a baggage of unforgettable experiences and new acquaintances, to which we want to return as soon as possible, to be able to relax in this wonderful place and cultivate newly established relationships! On the various sites that offer the resort it often appears with a private beach 300 meters away, but it is a translator's error. The beaches are ten minutes away, with sunbeds and umbrellas and also a free beach

The grounds are a paradise of lush planting, the swimming pools are perfect for adults and children with a restaurant and bar set back discretely from the sun bathing terraces

It was a family hotel! Many returning guests and it was quiet and pleasant even though it was close to the heart of the city. The staff were really nice and we really only have positive feedback
