The customer service is excellent and Room 7 was excellent as it was spread over two floors with a balcony overlooking the street and additional outside sunbathing area which wasn’t overlooked

The pool was a welcome relief from the heat of the day

Beautiful location and ease of access. Unfortunately parking is hard if you organise a hire car. Amenities are beautiful and the welcome gifts and morning breakfast were great

Although situated in the old town and very close to the restaurants and shops, you do not get any noise disruption - in fact it’s an ideal place in an ideal position

Miscommunication about the parking was a bit of a problem but got sorted out eventually. The manager and staff’s hospitality made up for any inconvenience.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Rimondi Boutique Hotel and it was as perfect as the first time

We were kindly upgraded to a spacious two-floor apartment with two terraces, and I was genuinely amazed! One had a covered area, perfect for warm afternoons, and the other opened just above the promenade with a beautiful view of the sea

The hotel is in a great location, about 15 minutes on foot from the old town, so you are in a quiet seaside area but still close enough to enjoy the vibrant center of Rethymno when you like

Beach is just across the street, guests get beach towels at the reception and discounted sun beds

It was such a joy to sit with a cup of coffee, soak up the sun, and simply enjoy the sound of the waves and the peaceful landscape. The apartment itself was so cozy

Really comfortable beds, soft cushions, and a modern bathroom with beautiful tiles. We had coffee machine and Kettle, those small details that made a difference

Already before we came we had excellent service from the management in arranging the room to meet our hopes. Coming there was like coming to a second home

The hotel is located a bit off the main areas, but this was more than compensated by the well-kept facilities, the friendly service, and the excellent cocktails at the pool bar

2 things that annoyed me, one was the internet connection which was shocking, I had to use the 5G to be able to do any research of the area and bookings and the 2nd one, was that the cloning lady seems to be instructed to go into the rooms and open a door to cut off the air con

The hotel is nice and clean in general, a big pool with shallow water for kids and a pool bar. The rooms are ok with one noteble exception. Our room was sticking of cigarette smoke when we checked in

The wine on arrival was a great touch. Breakfast was delicious and a great variety! Thankyou so much for our lovely experience, myself and my mam will be back without a doubt! ❤️

Very great rooms - a bit to hard beds for me (my taste) - the best Intercontinental breakfast we Had this Journey, but fresh orange Juice Had to pay extra. Lovely Service!

This did not bother us as it created a nice atmosphere. A great location only about 100 metres from the beach. The Old Town is a 15 minute walk. Turn right out of the hotel and it’s a straight, flat , easy stroll

We visited in May so the walk was lovely. This may be different in the height of the season when it gets very hot but taxis were plentiful-, however the walk is very nice. The service from all of the staff was perfect

We were there over Easter and the hotel explained the local customs and times and details of the parades and services. The pool was clean and smart with deck chairs around it equally clean and well maintained

We read about this hotel as being “spectacular”. And it is!! Everything about Avli Lounge is beautiful. Stellios2 was the most fabulous staff member. The hotel is funky for the young at heart

We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant and they were among the best meals of our whole vacation! Service was also excellent!

There was also one day when Michalis' mom Frosso was working the front desk as the other two were unavailable and she was just as lovely

This is the 2nd time we have stayed. We treated ourselves to the room with it's own Hamam steam room. Michalis was so friendly and helpful. The room is absolutely stunning

We stayed in a room that had ample space and enjoyed staying in. There is a lovely balcony with a hot tub. There were two friendly cats that hung out with us on the balcony

It was like a trip back in time the best place that we have stayed if you like old this is the best Michael on reception was so helpful only negative was that there was no breakfast but there was a bakery round the corner over all fantastic and in the Old Town

Along the main strip, in the opposite direction to Lidl is a place where you can play crazy golf. We had a really fun night here! We had a lovely holiday here and wouldn't hesitate to come back to this hotel again

Beautiful apartment walking distance to all amenities - shops, restaurants, bars. Free car park for those who hire a car to see the amazing island of Crete. Staff accommodating, nothing was to much trouble

Vacationing with the family 4 persons in July-August 2014. We knew where we were going, so we are almost all satisfied at this place. Crete - this is not the place to go lie on the beach

We stayed at the Trefon for a week in June and had the studio apartment. It was spacious for a studio and very clean and comfortable. The room is a little dated but we didn’t mind that considering the service/staff

If you are booking via 3rd party just a gentle reminder, Greece has a room tax which is sometimes not included with your package, here at The Trefon it was €5 a day but worth every cent

This hotel is fantastic value for money, lovely rooms, right by beach (1 min walk), lovely staff and very relaxing. I had a self-catered apartment and it was very well equipped. Very relaxing stay

My late check-in was seamless and the room was beautifully arranged in addition to being very comfortable

The staff was very helpful. The room was well maintained and unique. The breakfast included was excellent, on a beautiful patio looking out to the sea.

Which sent me out wandering up and down the seaside promenade to find a place that served something somewhat similar to breakfast

The hotel has a restaurant and they serve breakfast ko and it was so delicious. It’s so close to shopping and walkable to attractions. The receptionist and the waitress were very friendly. I definitely going back.

We stayed at Civitas for 9 days and it was a wonderful experience. The location in Old Town Was the Best! We can’t say enough about the Staff, they were all so welcoming and helpful we really felt at home here

Just need to decide when I'll be back! The hotel is easily accesible to all the key sights in Rethymno town and has very friendly and helpful staff who are happy to ensure you have the best stay possible

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent, comfy beds, great staff and it's on the sea! The beach nearby is pebbly and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town - not a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the hotel itself more than makes up for that!

However, breakfast was included so no probs there. Enjoyed the varied buffet breakfast. Pool is small and on the roadside so noisy at times. Small beach area for the hotel but we had a lovely patio outside the room

Small boutique hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of old town with a private beach. Great restaurants within walking distance Prima Plora and their own Thalassa Seafood restaurant

Sea view split level suite was excellent. Very clean and the best views. Slight smell from drainage but didn't spoil the holiday. The restaurant was run separately so could not charge meals to room

Menta City Hotel is a 5 Star property in my book! The lobby, pool area and breakfast area are all beautifully decorated. Rooms are exceptional. Complimentary breakfast is delicious!

We had a great stay! The hotel is very clean and well-kept, you feel right at home. I would particularly like to highlight the staff - super friendly, helpful and simply cool. Also very suitable for children.

For those of us with mobility issues, this is a problem. NB I did check on Google maps before booking and they claimed the walking route is ‘mostly flat’!

We tried some things from their pool menu, and it was all fresh and delicious, at a fair price. The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach, and there is a large number of restaurants

The pool was a relaxing little oasis in the busy city but very close to the beach and restaurants. All in all, we were very lucky to find this absolute gem and we would definitely stay again if we come back to Rethymno

The hotel itself is located one-minute-walk distance to the beach and is situated quietly in a courtyard, so it is also very quiet, especially at night when the seaside road is otherwise quite noisy

The garden and pool area is spacious, with plenty of sunbeds, food service, a pool, a children’s pool, and lots of flowers. The hotel’s cats usually sleep under the sunbeds during the daytime

This was the highlight of our stay. We had a very spacious room, enough for two adults and one child. A small kitchenette with a fridge, and a nice bathroom with a shower and a whirlpool were included

The rooms were really clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty. The whole building was clean and bright, the pool was warm. With a little luck we always had a parking space in front of the building

Nice clean spacious rooms. Beach is at the opposite side of the road. I would say that the kitchen is a bit poor equiped.

Perfect location-beach front. The only drawback is a very poor Internet. The connection breaks up all the time, the signal is poor. The management should invest into a more powerful router!

We had the perfect stay at Steris Beach Hotel. No complaints all well, it was such a satisfying stay. We booked a junior suite and the view was stunning

it is lovely small hotel , facing the sea, on the strip of Rethymnon beach enjoying lovely views over Rethymnon city and the endless blue. The large sandy beach is steps away from the property

Rooms are large, new, nicely decorated, clean and those facing the sea have lovely balconies with unrestricted views. Breakfast is very good served at ground floor restaurant with view over the sea

The building is surrounded with beautiful trees and plants (my personal highlight) and is a home for several well-behaving cats. Ah, and please try the bar downstairs

This time, I got a transport hiccup on the way to the hotel (side note: book your tickets from Heraklion to Rethymno in advance, shall you choose to travel by bus)

! I felt so greatful! The special advantage of these cosy apartments is that the bedroom is separate from the living room with the kitchen corner

One little minus is that creating some kind of air circulation in the bedroom was difficult to impossible, even in the night with open windows

The staff are very friendly, helpful, and polite. Beds are comfy, they are cleaning the rooms every day (including changing sheets, towels). The beach is very close, the hotel has 2 pools and a jacuzzi as well

It would be better if the beds were bolted together and there was a big top mattress on top of them both so that you can actually sleep next to your spouse without risking to end up on the floor in between the beds

Wonderful house in the middle of old town with all the facilities you need. Quist and centrally located at the same tine. We have been there twice and will soon be back again.
