I came here for one day on a charged for day pass costing 32 euros. I caught the bus from Chania. What a TREAT! I was allowed to use the indoor and outdoor pools beteen 10 am until 6 pm. We had a great stay here with our 16-month-old! The food was good, especially when we dined a la carte, by the beach. I would say this resort caters mostly to German tourists. The structure, for the external part, is really very beautiful, with large spaces and a beautiful beach. The two swimming pools are basically only usable by children, since they are not very big. I arrived at the hotel after a 20 hour travel to find there was no hot water for shower. Over the next week, there was no hot water about half the time. This is totally unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The food and staff are good. The internet drops off often. Shower head was cracked and water would just pour in.

The food is decent but is mostly buffet only unless you choice to eat at the upscale restaurant. Which you need to turn in your selections the night before Ierapetra is a $10 euro cab ride with many wonderful restaurants.

We spent a week at this hotel. We had a room on the 4th floor accross the road from the beach but had a nice sea view. The room was large and we had a fridge, kettle and cooking facilities even though we were all inclusive. The fridge was useful to keep drinks cold. The beds were clean and very comfortable. There are 2 pools and even though there are signs everywhere saying you cannot reserve loungers...

We stayed at the iolida beach for a week, there was two adults & a 10 year old! All in all we had a fab break! The hotel is split in two halves connected by a bridge over the main road! Our room needed abit of updating & tlc however it was absolutely spotless as is the rest of the hotel! The pools are clean & well maintained there were no issues with getting sunbeds! This was my 2nd visit to this wonderful hotel. Staff are amazing, helpful and go the extra mile for you. Food was awesome once again and the hotel itself very clean and spacious on a lovely Sandy beach with great snorkelling and water activities around. Excellent stay. Clean room with small kitchen/fridge area in building set back about 200 feet from the beach. My room had a private balcony overlooking the beach with a terrific view. Off street free parking right in front of the apartment. Area has several restaurants within a few minutes walk and nice beach for swimming/windsurfing. Great communication with management. Lovely hotel at a fine location nearby the town centre. There are restaurants, grocery stores and shopping districts in walking distance. I arrived to the city via the bus from Chania and left the city via ferry via the harbour. although not exactly short distance but they are walkable. it is a relatively busy city and many popular restaurants are very occupied during the weekend.

Very nice place and very modern not to mention the great breakfast. My wife and stayed there for 2 nights and we needed a place close to everything and this was. I want to thank Helena for all her help and answering our daily 100 questions about where to go and what to do.
