Good hotel, quite centrally located, with ample parking right on site. I really enjoyed the breakfast, but the seating there was a bit awkward – you sit too low and it's too soft.

The hotel room was clean and spacious, with enough room to open multiple suitcases. It included breakfast and complimentary hot drinks available at all times. There was also a dining area with utensils. The location is a bit far from the city center, but easily accessible by bus.

Very strong smell of chlorine when entered the room including chlorine smell on the towels. No cleaning services or bed sheet changing ( we stayed 2 nights ), the receptionist told us it's the policy and if we would like it changed we should go get the bed sheet/towels they provided by ourselves which was not mentioned when checked-in or when we booked. Luckily, there was parking available right in front of the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water and heating. So charming and I loved the lake monster. She was a wonderful host. The ambience is like a cozy luxe cabin. The restaurant was so delicious. We booked this on the fly and were not disappointed. After a bunch of hours driving, we arrived here to find a very sweet hotel on the lake. The view out back said "come on in." The room is clean, spacious, quiet and comfy. We immediately hit the on site spa and sat on the hot tub for a while. We love the staff.

The room is a good size, very clean, warm comforter, nice TV, clean bathroom. But! Poor lighting, no in-house telephone, no instructions for remote.  But,  the receptionist young man is full of information, very well spoken, and took care of my needs.  The breakfast, an avocado toast, and coffee were excellent. The location is convenient. There is a Xiaozhu supermarket downstairs. It is close to bus stop No. 9, which is convenient for local tour groups to gather and pick up. The room is clean. The counter staff provides early check-in service, but the room lighting is a little dim.

This hotel is a fine stop for a one-night stop for travel across the south coast. Because it is a larger hotel, indeed there are tour buses overnighting here, but that didn’t cause any discomfort for us. The room was spacious and clean and beds were comfortable. It was nice to have breakfast included, which you don’t always find in Iceland. The view from the front-facing rooms is beautiful.

I really liked staying at this hotel. I stayed on the 4th floor to get the larger room. The other reviews are correct, the slant ceiling is no joke. This is not a room for tall people. The bathroom shower is also very tight. There is also no elevator so consider your packing. With that said, the staff is amazing. Someone is always available, friendly and knowledgeable. Currently here with my daughter and she'd like to move in. Lol. We are in the west building facing the church. The location is great and there's a free parking lot across the road. Because we came in from Canada our sleep times are way off, but the black out curtains helped a lot. The road noise can be a bit high but it didn't affect us at all. We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous Viking themed hotel. The staff & service were impeccable, and nothing was never too much trouble. The food at the adjoining restaurant was also truly delicious. They really made our stay a time to remember for all the right reasons. ❤️

Disappointing first stay at this hotel. Most of the staff were lovely and helpful however there was a man working there who was grumpy, unhelpful and rude. Didn’t seem to want to serve people and wouldn’t help us with an early breakfast. The standard room was tiny with no room for luggage and two people. The hot tub was lovely and great to use however

The location is good as it is a drop off and pick up point for Fly Bus. The rooms is clean. Self check-in and if any problem have to use the phone at the lobby to call the customer service. The breakfast spread is limited.

I had a really nice stay at this hostel in Iceland. The location was great and it was easy to get around. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and warm, which was perfect after spending the day outside exploring.

The room is well-equipped and in a good location, close to the city center. Free parking is available at the door. The overall experience is very good. You can check in by yourself by entering the password obtained by the order at the door. There is a breakfast buffet downstairs.

Despite the hotel’s somewhat unpreposessing location in the middle of what appears to be an industrial estate, we did enjoy our stay in room 501 here. Points of note- The hotel is approximately 2 miles from the centre of Reykjavik. No reception but they emailed us with the code to get in and the code to our room which all worked fine, no lift, main light not working but that didn’t bother us much as we had the big windows so there was plenty of daylight, didn’t see any cleaners, bad smell from hot water was everywhere in Iceland so no just this hotel, bathroom door didn’t close but other than that everything was clean and done...

The rate of experience definitely is dar better than the pat review. The hotel just need to focus of micro detail of booking such as breakfast , the capsule given for the coffee maker machine should be compatible . Best hotel Ive stayed in so far in Iceland. I've been to 6 hotels so far. The room and bathroom was a good size. The bathroom I had was themed a bit like a volcano. Plenty of electric plugs in the room, a TV. Breakfast was the best selection I've had so far. This hotel has an elevator which was great to not carry bags up. All great things on this hotel. We stayed here overnight as part of 8 day Troll tours. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere with no other shops, restaurants around Rooms are nice sized with big windows, comfortable beds and clean. Bathroom was reasonable except for no shower door. There is a hotel restaurant with limited menu and average service. Food was good though.

The wonders of Iceland. Had a great stay here - arrived late on a wet and windy night but the room soon warmed up and was nice and toasty. Lovely breakfast. Unfortunately I managed to leave my driving licence there but the wonderful Sumna got in contact after we had left and drove it personally to another hotel / going out of her way by some distance. Breakfast was delicious! If you're too lazy to go into town in the evening, the hotel's paid buffet is also quite good. Both the taste and value for money are excellent! I even saw the Northern Lights when I went down for breakfast in the morning!

Decent place overall. Hotel was located alongside the main road and easily accessible. Check in process was relatively smooth. Room was visibly clean, beds were comfortable and blackout curtains and radiator were effective. Breakfast was slightly disappointing as it was mostly a cold continental one with no hot food options.
