Amazing please to stay in Iceland, the rooms are so beautif and comfortable. The views are stunning, and you have horses around walking freely This please is like paradise.I would love to stay here at least 3-5 days, but we did ring circles, so we had to keep going. Wonderful cottage style stay in a midst of grassland. Really love the cottage feel of the place. The owner was very friendly and she was there outside the room waiting for us when we arrived. Love her huge friendly dog as well. The room was well furnished. The owner even provided us with some snacks and drives for breakfast in the fridge. There was also souvenir used horseshoe for us to bring home...

Great place away from town with great prices and surprise fun for the family. We played with the dog the cat and the friendly horses. What a great evening for fun between attractions.

It’s a small room with full of small kitchen. We can cook a small plate in the room. The bathroom is small but not bad for a price and location.

This is not a hotel as you will expect! No tv in room and by the time you've put 2 suitcases on the floor and rack there is hardly room to move!! One has to climb over your partner to get into bed as there isn't space to walk around your bed!! The restaurant next door is excellent with good food.

Luxury orientation on rooms with early released to public, no tv-excuse 'speak to each other' bold but very risky excuse to not have tv in the room, not even WiFi password....no coffee, no tea..again no explanation. Defo not worth 40k to extend for 3rd night. Especially when there is upgrade suit for 30k with mountain view next door, with elevated service ready to discover. Choices to improve are there...

In the middle of no where…. Our first night in Iceland so that was a surprise.

With 13 rooms. Only 2 Wc/Shower. One was very small, old, didn't even have proper hooks to hang clothes. Shower didn't drain properly. You were always in 3 " of water from start to finish.

We were comfy, warm and had what we needed. We saw the Aurora really clearly as there was no light pollution, it was amazing! The cabins are situated in such a beautiful spot with awesome views and horses nearby. This was a very special place in our Iceland adventure!!

Aurora cabins was the most expensive cabin we stayed in during our trip to Iceland and the smallest. It would be fine for a couple but it was too small for our family of four. The views were lovely but it was closer to the road than I was expecting. It was very well equipped and the shower was great but I’m glad we didn’t stay any longer than one night.

We saw the aurora during our one-night stay from our room, it was fantastic! The cabin was also lovely, with a perfect view in the morning.

Aurora cabins lived up to their name! We were able to catch the lights the night we stayed (and it was the only time we were able to during our vacation)! In regard to the lodging itself - we loved how close to ring road the cabin was. It was easily located via google maps and had a seamless self check in with a parking spot waiting for us. Hotel with spacious rooms and soap and shampoo in bathroom..my sheets were wrinkly and spotty so i didn't know if they were fresh or not 🤷🏻‍♀️ but for one night or better a couple of hours before flying out from Kef airport it was good enough. This hotel don't have elevator and no one is there to help you with luggage. It was not a pleasant experience when you have 50lbs bags to carry one flight up.. I gave 3 star because it is very close the international airport. The room were clean but they provide super basic service. Breakfast only served from 8-10am.. take out is not allowed.

Very nice hotel! It was clean, quiet, and the rooms had their own bathrooms! Complimentary breakfast was very good, thanks to having pancakes available! Located off the beaten path, but still close to city emmenities.

We arrived much earlier than anticipated and they did not have a problem readying our room quicker than they were supposed to. This is a great hotel (no construction). Room was large, staff are very nice, check in was fast, buffet breakfast was quite nice. While the surrounding area is not overly attractive, for the price and location to the airport (plus really nice rooms and staff) we would recommend it and will definitely stay here again.

It is a great spot to sleep, I stayed in one of the private bathroom rooms. Great views of the sunset and sunrise from the property. It is really convient checking in and out. Don't have to wait for someone to staff a desk to come or go.

Door was noicy and all sounds from corridor came in the room. Our room 25 was towards backside which was good. Rooms opposite has windows straigh to parkingplace. Aloe soap was great. Teaspoons needed that you can stir coffee. There were none. Good that you get orders how to sign in few days earlier. Not luxury, but 2 days you can stay here in mini-room. Ideal for a quick stop before traveling on. Ideal location right next to Hallgrimskirkja church. Easy walk or bus to down town, where loads of restraints. Only 1 pillow which was very flat and toilet could do with a bit more of a clean. But generally very nice room.

This is a "self-help" facility. There is no staff. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. But shared bathroom and kitchen could use some TLC. The location is great if you have a car, but way out from the center (40-50 minutes by bus), so beware.

Very quaint, comfortable and cozy hotel. It is modest but with an old-school Icelandic taste. We had all we needed for a good stay. Our windows faced beautiful mountains and the area itself is a small charming fishing town.

I chose this property for the washer dryer. It was a disaster. The circuit kept tripping. Had to make a call. There’s only one set for the whole floor and the dryer never did dry the clothes. I had to hang my clothes all over the apartment. The shower and sink drains were clogged and the night light switch was broken next to bed. Also only one sleeping pillow per person.

Modern apartment near a grocery store and bakery. The unit itself was clean but lacked some amenities. There were no black out curtains so it was bright at night. The shower basin was too small and you had to shut the shower off several times to let it drain so it wouldn’t flood the floor.

A guesthouse you can find by taking a short detour off National Route 1. The accommodation itself is satisfying, but I especially recommend the handmade gelato from the farm. It is suitable for a one-night stay.

The scenery around the hotel is stunning, and the accommodations are tranquil and comfortable. It's incredibly close to the glacier, and the sunrise there is breathtaking. The breakfast is also quite good.

The hotel is beautiful, with a lawn in front of it where cows stand, sit, or lie down, overlooking Vatnajökull Glacier. It's as if the cows are growing on the ceiling. The rooms are well-equipped, but the soundproofing is poor. However, the foreign guests are very considerate; even the noisiest restaurant and lounge areas quiet down after 8-9 pm.

The hotel is very well located on the road to Hofn. The room was magnificent: large, with a breathtaking view of the mountains and glaciers. It looked like a picture on the wall, but it was our bay window. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast perfect, and the homemade ice creams were delicious and original (dandelion flavor, a delight).

Excessive price for a business that needs interior renovations. July is usually more expensive, but the value for money isn't right. It feels like a place that's been through a lot and the business is doing well, but compared to other guesthouses, it feels outdated. It lacks warmth. Breakfast was adequate.

The hotel is located in a big town with a nice surrounding. Go to the gas station to refuel and wash your car. The hotel rooms are fully equipped and comfortable, the front desk staff are warm and polite, and the parking lot is convenient for parking.

Beautiful venue, would highly recommend. Had been doing the ring road in a van that would last couple of days was so wonderful to come into such a cleanup, aesthetic, and calm environment to spend the night again. Originally we did not receive the code for the floor door, but the help we received was good. The room itself was very neat and tidy, and had all the equipments we need to make our stay comfortable. There is a bonus 5 mins walk away if you need anything and the location of the hotel is ideal.

The apartment had everything although there is questionable staining above the one window and lots of moisture around the window. Kitchen table has lots of scuff/tear marks in it which does not give the impression of care for furniture. Coffee provided are open and not individually packaged or sealed. A nice and quiet place in the Selfoss area. We got a free room upgrade. We booked this hotel to stay after finishing the Golden Circle. We saw the northern lights here, after we were notified via a special WhatsApp group.

Decent room for it price. Location is good because it's in the countryside which offers good chance to see the northern lights but has easy access to selfoss (~30min with slow driving)

We had unfortunate luck with the weather, but the stay was a cool experience. Check in was seamless and extremely pleasant. Felt very welcomed, and if we ever find ourselves back in Iceland we definitely would stay here again.

Clean, comfy, really well heated domes with heated mattresses etc. Best part was, after a cloudy night not spotting much I woke up at 6am for the bathroom and there was a whole light show above the domes!
