Super easy self check-in and check-out.
I arrived in the evening and did not see any person related to property. Booked the room just for one night.
My room had en suite bathroom and was a bit on the basement with windows a bit above ground level. Bed was good. I had two white towels i could use. One was not completely white.
Reykjavik local airport is just behind the BSI bus station, which means you're going to notice the air traffic (up to a certain hour).
Cons: Located on the basement floor, the accommodation had a strong damp smell. The toilet had no heating, making showering extremely cold.
You will be given a code to check in and drop the key on your way out. They were flexible and let me leave my luggage before my check in time. I had a room with two twin beds. One was a bit soft but the other one was perfect. All in all, I would recommend this for a short stay between transit.
Please note that this site is very close to the regional airport where the tourist helicopters depart from, so there is quite a lot of noise during the day. This didn't bother us too much, and all the benefits of the establishment itself being quiet compensated for the airport noise.
Also, if having a room without a television is an issue for you, remember to bring a device on which to view your favorite shows and movies like we did!
