Super clean hotel, wonderful breakfast, it's not very close to the center, but if you don't like walking 30 minutes there, you can take the bus that stops practically in front of the hotel. I highly recommend it.

It's not in the city center, but the flybus can go directly to the hotel entrance. The breakfast is OK. Self check-in is available. The room is not big. I only stayed here for one night and left in the morning. It's hard to comment on other aspects, but it's OK overall.

Close to the bus lines.
The breakfast is amazing! It’s lot's of good stuff, but it gets changed from day to day. These people prepare on the same day, and not the night before. It makes a huge difference in the quality.
The rooms are modern, well designed, and well lit. The plumbing is excellent as well. Some other hotels have sulfurous water because Iceland is on a volcano. These guys have it managed.
Would definitely recommend and return.

Since I booked 4 nights, I have a good discount. It is a pretty interesting accommodation, something in between an Airbnb (self-check-in and healthy Skyr breakfast) and a hotel (clean and comfortable beds). The color of the renovation also fits well into Iceland. The washroom has a heated floor, which is nice in winter. They also have blackout curtains and I can see how it can be helpful in the summer when there is no darkness.

There is also a bus stop right downstairs which is very convenient for us to get to downtown. You just need to download the public transport app (Straeto/Klappid), which allows you to buy bus tickets with your credit card and scan the QR code on the bus.

Pros:
Nice location near ocean and downtown, free parking, free wifi, spacious dorms, spacious lockers and very cool lounge/lobby, Subway sandwich shop next door, place is very clean, also very secure with keycard for various doors, spa/hot tub and rooftop patio, large kitchen.

Cons:
Laundry service is the most expensive I have ever seen: €12/$14.40 and they return it in a bag, wrinkled as hell and some clothes still wet. Just one spoon in the kitchen; come on guys; IKEA is a 15 minute drive.
