Location is excellent if you want to visit the popular sites. You would need a taxi or transit to visit the Vatican. Lots of cafes and restaurants but you can get easily duped by some of these restaurants being in a touristy area. So, always ask for the price of the food. Running trip Fantastic small hotel with great staff

This was an idea overnight as I flew out of Rome the following early morning. The hotel is clean, quiet and the rooms comfortable. It is also located within minutes of the shoreline, which is a lovely walk.

We only stayed one night in an emergency when our booked accommodation fell through last minute. Rooms were ok, bit crowded when sleeping 4. The staff at Albergo Diffuso know the problems we had with the wi-fi in the apt . Very weak or non existent signal made it hard to communicate at all times of the day or night.
