Amazing location, amazing people, some rooms are out dated and do no justice to the place. Must make sure to call the hotel and be placed in an updated room.

We came here at the height of travel season (August 1) and were not able to receive the Amex upgrade. We were placed near the beach/restaurant area and by the pool. The room was very small. It had a tiny television which hung with all of its wires dangling like it was the back of some Verizon store. Surprising considering how they price these rooms. One night is about 1 month's rent for a lower end...

The hotel staff are sooo nice! In general, Italians are very good hosts! The main thing from the hotel was the staff for sure. If you are looking for a quiet place this could be your place. The bedroom was not updated yet, I heard some of the rooms are getting updated but even though it was quite charming the old school style. I stayed at Colonna Hotel du Golf and was extremely disappointed. For the €3,000 I paid, I expected much higher standards. My room was not clean, the breakfast buffet was poor and low quality, and several staff members were rude and unhelpful. Overall, the service and facilities did not match the price. It is a small resort in the middle of nowhere, so you really need a car to go to a beach or to a city, as the taxi services are very expensive (90€+ for a single 10 min ride). There is a shuttle going to a single beach twice a day or so, which I have not used. No cash, and no putting tings on the room. No 4G and 5G, no mobile connection. Good internet, but not good solution for the resturants. But this is one of the Nicest place on the earth.

The entire resort is huge, clean rooms, beautiful views, good foos, a lot of activities to be done inside and also availability to have excursions to other remote beaches as Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna, etc. Shuttle service from Cagliari airport to the resort was also very accurate and top quality!

My wife and I stayed there three nights in late September. Fantastic Hotel and resort with great food and drink. Our room had an ocean view and the room was very very nice. Nothing to complain about, loved it all and would definitely go back again.

The Falkensteiner is definitely an upscale resort. We enjoyed our stay. Given the price point, the resort should have provided as much free water as guests needed/wanted, not just 1 bottle a day.

We had a fantastic stay and Marcello was a brilliant waiter! He was kind, helpful and very prompt. He has a brilliant sense of humour and really made our stay all the more enjoyable! Unfortunately, the hotel is very remote and only accessible from the city center by bus. The hotel has a nice pool. The room is modern in terms of furnishings, but somewhat dated in appearance. Ultimately, it was a pleasant stay.

There was a fire right outside the hotel. We argued with the hotel manager for 4 hours to accept a refund for us to change hotel but she wouldnt agree. The smoke got inside the lobby, corridors and rooms but she would still not agree with a refund. No evacuation was planned either which is insane.

This was very pricey for a long weekend away and you are mostly paying for the location. Although it is quite secluded the location is beautiful. From many rooms you can see the pool and the beach. Our stay was wonderfull. The staff treated us with a warm welvome. Espcialy a member of the staff who was in charg of our reception, called Fabio who was of help made our stay very pleasant. He did much to send us a mobile phone that we forgot.

What a lovely hotel with really amazing staff from the waiters/waitresses/Receptionists/cleaners and the pool bar staff. Our room was cleaned daily. I could not fault this hotel at all. Got back from this lovely Hotel on the 27th of September after staying a week. On arrival and throughout the stay the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we had was 411, kept beautiful clean, looking over the pool with a parcial view of the sea. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection, the meal in the evening was a 4 course with a good choice which was of an excellent standard....

A fantastic hotel in an amazing place. The location of the hotel was perfect, a couple of minutes away from the beach and restaurants , the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was just right a good selection of food. We had a room overlooking the pool with a sea view it was so relaxing . I would highly recommend.

This is a lovely place. Very relaxing, ideal location for the nearby beach and restaurants. It is clean, lovely staff , amazing breakfasts. A lovely pool bar. Plenty of sunbeds. Very relaxing.
