The location is convenient, the service is warm and attentive, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price is excellent! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time

The hotel reception staff were welcoming and provided excellent service; I was quite satisfied with the hotel. The parking lot is right in front of the hotel, and the restaurant is quiet and clean.

The front desk was excellent. We arrived early and they allowed us check in. The front desk booked restaurants for us in advance and were always cheery! Fantastic stay!

This hotel was located in an excellent spot to walk the historic city center. It was definitely a wonderful place to be.

The hotel was lovely, clean and the staff so friendly. Breakfast was peaceful and delicious in the courtyard I slept so well after long days walking the Mercado Ballaro!

Loved the small touches, like beach towels, slippers, and even a free beach bag at the end! The on-site restaurant was delicious, and parking was easy. Great value for money and total relaxation

Great location, private beach. Our room provides a spetecular view of the sunset. Very efficient bathroom design. Breakfast selections could use a bit improvements.

Breakfast is included in the suite. The staff is friendly (although the desk is not open 24 hours, a phone number is provided if assistance is needed). The hotel is located in the city center, opposite a beautiful garden

I spent a comfortable night in the CALCEDONIO REINA suite, which I can say is absolutely beautiful. The room is large, beautifully decorated and soundproofed

The two-seater hydromassage tub in a dedicated area is very nice with TV and air conditioning. Two separate bathroom partitions allow for unique relaxation, the huge bathroom comes with a large shower

The hotel is in an old building, and there is only a small sign at the door, so you have to look carefully. The service desk is on the second floor

3 kilometers away from the train station, and it takes one hour to get to Taormina and Syracuse by train, which is convenient for travel

It is not bad inside, the room is large, the facilities are complete, and the decoration is also good. The service is generally good

Luckily at the front desk Alberto was able to fetch our luggage and was super helpful. Our friends had problems with a leaky shower and there were no tissues in the bathroom! Breakfast was good although a bit limited

A building used by old gentry - very grand. Very tight street for access but use of underground car park. Mine host had Basil Faulty tendencies but rest of staff super. No lift and many stairs ! Superb garden & pool

Breakfast room was very charming, back garden and pool were beautiful. If walking up stairs is not a problem, and you like the location, this hotel may be for you!

The understated chic design contrasts well with the historic structure and we found a wonderful calming atmosphere despite its central town and road-side location. The staff were super friendly and professional

I stayed at Villa del Lauro for 3 nights in Aug, 2014. I was on my own but had such a wonderful experience there if felt like I had friends with me

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were, clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Breakfast choices were excellent and the beautiful gardens/ pool area was much appreciated & enjoyed on those hot days

All the staff were friendly & the manager was especially helpful in finding a doctor to treat a family member’s ear/ sinus infection. It was the perfect place to stay while we toured and explored the Ragusa area

Rooms feel spacey because of the stairs that separate sleeping from the bathroom downstairs. Good breakfast with Joghurt, nuts, fruit, cereal and different pastries

I highly recommend!!! This place is amazing! The owner was so kind and went out of his way to help us when one car in our group was having mechanical trouble

Location was perfect, there is (limited) parking in the street and it’s 5 min to old town, just down the steps

We were in the family room and the old stone and archways were beautiful. The pool and grass area is a wonderful respite from walking through Ragusa and so nice to take in the view

Myself and my girlfriend stayed her for a short (a few days) trip in Ortigia, and the experience was great. The location is amazing, right on the beachfront near everything, and the staff go above and beyond

The Domus Mariae Albergo was an exceptional find! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in finding parking (an issue in Ortigia), recommending sites to see as well as authentic restaurants patronized by the locals

We weren't the easiest guests im sure, we had many small, but persistent requests and the staff were consistently friendly, and more than happy to meet our requests with grace and enthusiasm

I can't comment on breakfast, as we opted to have brunch at a nearby Bistro, but this is in no way a comment on the breakfasts at the hotel; this is simply how we like to holiday

The room was great, the only thing I wanted more was a kettle. The staff was lovely and the hotel is in a good area, on the beautiful island of Ortigia!

Etna to the North and the Ionian sea and across to the Italian mainland to the South. The pool area is nice but could get a little busy and difficult to snag a sunbed

The accommodation is sited uphill from the main establishment (500m above sea level) and has in front of it a lap pool ranging from ankle-deep to 2m, there is a ramp enabling less able clients to access the pool easily

The agriturismo San Michele is located in the middle of the vineyards, ideally placed between the sea and Etna. The swimming pool, the exteriors constitute a magnificent setting

Note a little vis-à-vis since the bay windows of the rooms overlook for the most part the common corridors outside leading to the swimming pool and breakfast

Oh my goodness! I cannot express how blissful our stay way! My boyfriend was planning to propose and not only did the staff accommodate us so well, but they went above and beyond to make sure our stay and the proposal went smoothly! It couldn’t have been more perfect

The views are amazing, especially the sunsets which are truly stunning- go for a sunset aperitif! We did lots of fantastic activities including a wine tasting, cookery course, sunset horse riding, massages and a visit to the salt pans all organised by the hotel

Very nice room but I think you need 2 luggage holders in your hotel rooms because if you have 2 people in a room, there is normally 1 luggage for each person. That is my only complaint about your hotel

The staff is incredibly helpful from the reception ladies to the waiters. We did also the wine tasting and it was a great experience. Food overall (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is delicious

Despite other reviewers negativity, we had a lovely and memorable stay at the Hotel Palace! The staff saved the day by arranging a private boat tour with a local guide when our original tour canceled at the last minute

It's a very nice place with a very nice swimming pool and grass area. The rooms are very nice as well and they have nice terraces

Hotel Villamare is a very nice place to stay. Super friendly personal, nice rooms, good service and a very beautyful garden. The sea is litterally two minutes away

A lovely small hotel, we were upgraded on arrival, balcony and sea view. Set in a lush tropical garden with a pool

They offer free parking and the possibility to reserve umbrella and sunbeds at a partner beach resort nearby with a 10% discount

Breakfasts were very good but if you were spending time at the pool getting drinks was not something that happened easily

The taxi services they provide have the best prices in the region. So go for it, you won't regret this Booking. The only negative point i saw was that you can't bring beverages in the hotel

Large swimming pool, large grounds to explore, outdoor bbq area, fresh oranges and lemons to pick and first class hosts. So glad we spent a week here. My little son loved it and didn't want to leave

It’s a short drive to some of Sicily’s best sandy beaches, and a short walk to supermarket and local restaurants. There are excellent BBQ facilities too if you want to do a BBQ one evening

Large, spacious grounds, which are once owned by a baron, have now been befitting restored and updated to offer an amazing stay to any guest that is lucky to visit

Our rooms were spacious and well equipped, and pretty much soundproof, not that there was any noise to keep out such was the tranquil nature of the location

Cannot fault this property, unfortunately we only had 1 night there but we were unexpectedly upgraded to a junior suite which was amazing

During a trip, I arrived here. The surroundings are very beautiful, and it's impressive that everything is made here on-site. After a short tour and a presentation of winemaking, we had lunch. The atmosphere was great.

We went for a wine tour with a wine tasting lunch. It was very well done. A beautiful property with a great tour and the food was great.

Room are comfortable for guests to stay in and the sunset views by the pool are mesmerising. They have the most delicious selection of wine from the vineyard which us and many wedding guests have brought back to the UK

Staff were very friendly & has an amazing pool area. While we were there in early July it was quite quiet & we were able to enjoy the pool with hardly anybody else there

Staying in an AirBnB in Palermo currently with more facilities than this “4-star” hotel! The staff however was very nice, kind, and helpful and gave us many suggestions for places to eat in, around the hotel and in the city centre

The hotel is in a good location for sightseeing in the area and close to big supermarkets if needed. There is a selection of restaurants in Marina di Ragusa. There is a decent size pool at the property

Breakfast was plentiful with many local products. The pool was perfect and the rooms very clean and well maintained. I would visit again and would not hesitate to recommend the property

As it happens, it was still off season and we were the only guests. Our room, at the back of the hotel, was comfortable. We overlooked the pool, with a balcony

Our sea view room had a large shady balcony, the pool and terrace are superb, and the whole property is exceptionally secure

We celebrated our wedding at Capo Campolato and it was the best decision ever! Since the first meeting, the team welcomed us and accompanied us all throughout the preperations with professionalism and kindness, even with our special requests: they handled them with care and respect

The place is magical with an amazing view, the decoration was excellent (just like we wanted) and our guests can't stop talking about how good the food was! If you are considering this venue for your wedding, do not hesitate

It was wonderful to hear that everyone from different locations had positive experiences during their stay. Several guests took advantage of the massage services and mentioned that they were excellent

The only considerations to keep in mind are that the beach is rocky and there is no nearby public transport, but these minor points did not detract from our overall enjoyment

While morw than 10 minutes away from almost anything the Atmosphere, the rooms ans facilities made for a much needed place to relax during our stay on the island

All rooms and suites are extremely well designed, with all modern comforts. If you're lazy and want to relax, like we sometimes do too, you can enjoy the palm trees around this beautiful quiet and clean pool

I am not advertising this place, I just enquiered for a quote on the major suite for next year for a month stay! We travel for leisure all year every year for 3 years now, so I think I can judge the quality of a place quite well by now

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had our daughter sharing the room with us which I have to say isn't my favorite arrangement, but we were out all day anyway. If I go back, I'd probably go for a suite

A family run "boutique resort" in a super location, very helpful and friendly staff, on walking distance to one of the best restaurants and chefs in the province (Lorenzo Ruta ristorante), 8 minutes driving from Pozzallo, 20 minutes from Modica, 45 minutes from Marina di Ragusa (Vota Vota)

The best place we stayed in Sicily. The service was perfect, room was very clean, swimming pool area was amazing. We had dinners in their restaurant and that was the best food we had. Perfect!

They produce their own wine and olive oil which are also great! The pool and the view is breathtaking. A great stay for a short trip
