Not for noise-sensitive people.
It was quite noisy, as the windows were very thin and there was no real natural light in my room. Cleanliness was mediocre. Towels are only changed after departure, I suspect.
Together with other colleagues we stayed in this hotel near the University of Palermo. It is a family-run hotel and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, making our stay pleasant
We are at home now, we have been coming for 4 years and we have always found ourselves just fine. Hospitality, friendliness, clean rooms and reasonable prices.
Structure located in the central area.
Very comfortable and well cleaned rooms. The owners really nice and always available
Clean rooms with good daily cleaning service. Breakfast offered very good and eaten under a very nice (isolated) gazebo
Tip: soundproof the rooms and eliminate some furniture elements that are no longer appreciated and only useful for collecting dust (bedspreads and decorative pillows are an example)
Friendly staff, good breakfast. We requested breakfast very early and this was no problem. Surroundings of the hotel are not that good. Rubbish in te streets and not well mantained
A clean and comfortable hotel with large and very quiet rooms, private bathroom
The location is very convenient because it is very close to the station and about ten minutes walk from the centre. The staff were very kind and super helpful! The only flaw is the area in which the structure is located
I had the opportunity to stay with friends for two nights and I must say that I felt very comfortable. I was amazed by the truly enormous and well-kept room
left a bit abandoned and certainly not the best for women alone
Old establishment in the city center, the air conditioner was not working well. Breakfast is good. Staff friendly. From this place, you acess easily access the bus station to Etna excursions.

15h walk to the center however, they do have a bus that runs from outside every 30 mins it’s a bit confusing to use but we got the hang of it eventually (get the drop ticket app) nice pool, no crazy rush to get sunbeds, staff were lovely
Bar is reasonably priced no more than anywhere else in town, lovely restaurant across the road. STUNNING sunset views from the pool or beach
Also want to give a shout out to the lovely lady, Enrica from housekeeping who kept our room super clean. The location was great, lots of parking, nice pool and wonderful beach area
I give 3 of 5 for everyday good cleaning, good food, fresh towels and location right on the sand beach. Very helpful and friendly staff. However breakfast was really poor. And the perfect view from our room🙈
The shower in the room came off completely, the toilet seat was not fixed and we were left without soap in the shower. They ask for a deposit in cash for the beach towels
Clean room and bathroom, which is more important to me than furniture. Very friendly and helpful staff, all young and keen to learn. In a region where there aren't many jobs, I was happy to see young employees
beautiful private beach and pool. Extremely clean.
The hotel is well appointed, with nice decor and fittings, clean comfortable rooms, and a nice pool. It is however a bit remote, with quite a steep walk down to the nearest beach
The hotel itself was gated and when the gates closed behind us we were told that they wouldn't open until next morning. If thus neighborhood is safe then why the precautions? If not why were we being housed there
I was travelling with a group of a dozen doing the standard tour of historic Sicily and we were here for two nights. This was the best of the four hotels we used on the tour
Visited out of season so not all 'options' open but not an issue as only there 2 nights and busy during the day. VERY comfortable bed and good quality bed linen
We had an excellent dinner and buffet breakfast with a CIE tour. All the houses along the narrow little street leading to this hotels had fences & closed gates

My family had a wonderful time. The rooms were comfortable, food was great and the staff was extremely friendly. In particular, the pool bar staff, led by a man named Marco, were incredible
Quiet estate with a large pool to relax in after a long day walking around and a fantastic restaurant if you don't feel like going out
For the wine, just follow the recommendations of the waiter if you’re unsure and you’ll be great. In my opinion it is pretty fair priced at ~35€ pp (we drank like hell)
The breakfast lady was amazing, and if there was empty of something she would filll it up. The pool bar was open every day, even with few people there, making good panini and drinks. All the staff was really kind
Amazing experience at villa cefala!
Giueseppe and his team are very kind and welcoming. This is a good place for weddings and family trips. The villa is surrounded by lemon and olive trees, next to the sea
Great location to base yourself in Palermo. Quiet beach within walking distance, public transit nearby or a short driving into the center of the city

I must compliment all the staff for how they welcomed us and for their availability, it is not easy to manage all those people at once, I must say that as a school we had a good time, the food was good, as was the cleanliness which was nothing to fault
On the plus side, it is conveniently located for the valley of the temples, there are shops close by, restaurants close by, ample parking, a great swimming pool, which we enjoyed to ourselves sometimes
Very nice staff and the pool is a good way to cool yourself down during the summer heat. The rooms were pretty clean too. I don't understand the negative comments. Do people expect the Mariott or Hilton hotel here?
The service was of a good standard with appropriate courtesy, the standard of food quality was good, and the services corresponded to what was requested
It is certainly recommended for those who intend to travel safely and in compliance with Italian hotel quality standards
I stayed in this family-run hotel, all in all decent, although the quality of the food needs to be improved, as it didn't offer great choices and was a bit repetitive, the dining rooms were a bit cramped, especially the breakfast one where they also served lunch and dinner
STAY HERE!
After a nightmare check-in at another hotel we booked two last minute rooms at Al Balhara. On the phone, and even more in person the staff were so helpful and ensured our arrival was seamless and stress free
A GEM in Palermo!!!! Safe gated parking… Wonderful menu at the restaurant on site and the staff could not have been more helpful. In fact, we met the owner who was welcoming and extremely gracious
very beautiful a unique resort the perfect sweet and savory breakfast the excellent restaurant a 10 to the chef and the staff
Compared to the hotels in Palermo Center, this is truly the best option outside of the center
Heavenly Place and great mediterranean food
Just ok
Hotel was empty when arrived which was concerning. Staff friendly restaurant was very good. Not very convenient if you don’t have your own transportation.

Whether you’re staying for business or pleasure, this place is a true gem. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Shout out to Fabrizio, amazing chef💕 I’ll come back again
Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, and the service was outstanding
Structure located in an excellent position, along the Giardini Naxos seafront; excellent cleanliness; courtesy of the employees, excellent breakfast.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and taken care of
The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The real highlight, though, was the restaurant
Bright lighting to read& TV but no English channel. Towels not supplied for pool/beach. Continental breakfast with fried eggs & bacon. No snacks or light lunches served during day
We very much enjoyed the sea access but would be weary with children as it can be rough (they have a wonderful pool option)- for adults there was no concern!
Staff was helpful!
Amazing property , five star view and beautiful private beach , got most expensive room with private beach front balcony , must go back for Linger stay . True five star vacation if getting this room .
Gorgeous view from our balcony.
The private beach was the best part! Easy taxi ride to the center and the hotel calls for you. Nice staff!
The hotel was wonderful and having various room options was really important to our group
The sea view from the restaurant and the room is lovely. The terrace is pretty and lit at night. The hotel decor is very dated and makes the rooms feel dingy but they are very clean. The sun lounges are basic and plastic
We felt like we were sharing the room with other guests. We brought this to the attention of the front office staff with a picture and sound recording from our room. They made no attempt to help us
This 120-year-old grand dame of a hotel is filled with character. It’s not shiny and new and WiFi is patchy in the rooms but it is ideally located and has a lovely pool area and gorgeous views.
Unmatched price point for location, grounds, parking, views in Taormina
Thank you for the wonderful evening spent by the pool at the closing gala dinner of the Taormina Film Festival, for the culinary experiences you enjoyed, and for hosting our precious and highly regarded Sicilian master, Amaro Ciur 'Ama ra
The hotel is located at the very end of the main street. For those taking the bus up the mountain, you'll need to walk about 1. 2 kilometers to reach the hotel
(I was confused because it didn't include breakfast when booking, but I was told it was included when I checked in. )
The hotel has a small garden with a beautiful pool at the end
Although old, the common areas have been largely renovated and are well-maintained. The high ceilings make for a comfortable and pleasant experience, and the staff are friendly. I even had a room tour of my single room

The outdoor pool area, wellness center, and indoor pool are simply magnificent — a true paradise of relaxation
The hotel is in the middle of the countryside, so arriving at night was interesting but not a problem. The hotel is very nice, the spa is the major draw. It is large, well appointed and has many different therapies
When we were there, the outdoor pool was closed (for the season). The hotel restaurant was also very nice - the breakfast spread was very nice, the lunch and dinner were similarly good. The portion sizes are pretty good
I ended up extending my stay to a full week, enjoying the pool, the gym, and the spa. What can I say — I want to return to Sicily! A special mention goes to the breakfast, where nothing is missing — from sweet to savory
I stayed here for a week in November. Impeccable service from reception till cleaning stuff. Delicious Sicilian food served at the restaurant. Huge portions!Spacious nicely decorated room with garden and Jacuzzi outside
The service can be offered in English and the stuffs are professional and kind. We enjoyed the Sun a lot in the afternoons outside next to the pool
I liked the hotel for its price-quality ratio. The location is good in the center on a quiet street, clean, pleasant and attentive staff, 24-hour reception, which is important to me
There was no refrigerator or kettle in the room, but we got by. I can recommend it for a stop in Palermo
Clean, quiet, and well-located establishment. Decent breakfast. Excellent value for money that day.
The location is ideal, in the heart of the city centre and not far away from the train station
The location is very good, located on the busiest road, with restaurants and bars downstairs, and close to popular attractions. The single room is the same as in the photo, with a large toilet but a small bed
Vicinissima alla via Maqueda, Quattro Canti, posizione strategica. Ragazzo alla reception gentilissimo, mi ha portato la valigia fino al terzo piano.
Week-end in relax!
The staff were exceptional !! Every one of them was helpful and happy and went out of their way to serve us - i can honestly say the best crew i have ever met in a hotel
We were transferred to this hotel due to a problem with our booking elsewhere. The hotel rooms were excellent (we had 3 rooms all with sea facing large balconies)
Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel but would suggest a hire car of great benefit for exploring this coastline
A nice big hotel (which is rare for Italy). The hotel has free parking out front and is right across from the beach
Personale super cordiale al bar, colazioni e il mitico Ciccio alla Reception!
Torneremo sicuramente
The location is very good, get to the catherdral from the garden only takes 3 minutes. We can see Etna from our balcony. The Sky roof top restaurant is vey nice, good food and wine, with view of Etna
Our group had compilcated needs and these needs were all met. Nice hotel in great location off the main drag of Taormina.
The hotel has a garden gate entrance. Do not follow Google maps walking directions from the station (it's a long steep walk on a rough track
Clean room was small but we didn’t spend much time in it overall great location and very friendly staff
A highlight was the complimentary lemonade at the front desk, and they could help call a taxi to the bus terminal (note that you should make sure the taxi fare is the same as what you agreed beforehand, as they might try to charge extra)
The location was perfect – just a short walk to the main pedestrian street, accessible through a peaceful, green garden. The service was outstanding, and the breakfast offered an impressive variety of delicious options
Access to pool is a bit of a walk and getting around inside of this huge property can be confusing but overall, a nice stay
Perfect for what you need, big, clean rooms, big bathroom, big balcony, the hotel does feel a little lifeless, but hey, it's in noto, during the late/off season, can't expect too much more! Well situated with plenty of on site, free parking
The staff went above and beyond to assist with every request, even helping with a surprise gift delivery that made our stay truly memorable. A big thank you to the Grand Hotel Sofia team for all your help!
We stayed in the junior suite and had a fantastic experience. The value for money was excellent, and the service was exceptional
We were a family of 20 people from Canada and Italy, and we stay at the hotel from Aug 7 to the 14 and we had an amazing time
Very nice hotel, situated on the entrance of Noto. We had a short pleasant stay! Breakfast is great and parking very easy!

It’s as if your body and mind synchronize with this patient, constant energy, which ultimately allows you to breathe a sigh of relief and shed the stress you arrived with—the stress you carry home from a life that’s perhaps a bit too hectic
Would recommend it to anybody who wants time away from hurly burly. We didn't have time to experience the pool or spa unfortunately
This hotel is a little gem in the Ragusa area. I had already stayed here in 2008, and nothing has changed in terms of quality—if anything, it’s even improved
Large hotel with spacious outdoor pool, nice indoor bar, lounge and restaurant. Rooms clean and comfortable, many with balconies. Traveled with tour group and staff were very pleasant and accommodating
Close to Ragusa, parking, pool, resort style hotel
The staff are knowledgeable and extremely kind, customer service is top-notch, and the rooms are spacious, bright, and well-furnished. But in my opinion, the real value of staying here lies in the serene energy you feel

Everything was perfect, location is amazing-sea view, there were not many people and it was silent. Beach is opposite the hotel, free sun bed is included. Parking space is also opposite the hotel
Breakfast and service also great. Room is big (I had room for 3). If you need to relax, enjoy the silence and spend time in peace atmosphere- go there
Spacious rooms with 3 single beds and plenty of room to move around. Would recommend to friends and plan to return to stay here
Great location, tasty breakfast, clean rooms and very friendly reception. We had a lovely stay.
Great Hotel with wonderful ocean views where staff are very helpful
Breakfast wasn’t included in price, but 10 euros is a normal amount for the breakfast, so we were okay with paying extra. The variety of food at breakfast was quite good, we always had something new to try
The front desk was great everyday we were there especially Rosanna, Irene and Chiara. The wait staff in the restaurant who work morning, noon and night are amazing and couldn’t be more helpful then they were
The hotel staff was more than accommodating, having provided recommendations for activities and helping us with bookings such as dinner and wine tasting and even secured us shuttle services to their sister hotel, Le Calette
The breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Cefalu itself is a brilliant town to visit
We had a luxurious stay at Alberi! The staff kindly met our request for a better view and were so gracious. The terraces set up for breakfast are a delight and so elegant and pretty
Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Rosanna took care of reservations and arrangements for different activities that made our stay a truly relaxing experience. Grazie mile!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights and loved it. The location requires a bit of a hike (or shuttle) but we didn’t mind walking off our pasta and gelato
And honestly , I`m very clean freak , and that room was spotless. Facilities: To find an Hotel in palermo with swimming pool wasn`t easy
A truly underrated hotel!
The staff, accommodations, food and service were amazing!
The views of Palermo from our balcony were great and being outside the city centre away from the hustle and bustle was refreshing
the staff was very accommodating friendly and catered to our needs,
the outdoor pool was beautiful and the view of the whole city of Palermo was breath taking
Margarita the hotel room keeper was always happy to see us, she was always in a great mood
Room : An exquisite room with an AMAZING view , we took the one with balcony, we could see the whole city, fridge freezer full of different drinks, and several bathroom towel
Lovely location and gorgeous view. Really nice and helpful staff. Really fantastic dinner on site-great value for money. Breakfast was ok and sadly pool was not open
If you have a car it is definitely easier to come and go (driving is not for the faint of heart though, so be warned) being that it is up the mountain, but they provide a shuttle service both to and from the city centre and airport for a reasonable price
Although lots of reviews say that the food is bad, I don’t think it is the worst but you just have to not be scared to try something different, as especially for English and American tourists it is quite different to burgers and chips that you might get some other place
I sincerelly reccomend Hotel Delle Palme in Letojanni. Beautiful area and views, close to the sea. Delicous food at the hotel's restaurant. I'm looking forward to coming there again soon
The room was spacious, with an even larger balcony offering a stunning sea view. On the top floor, there’s also a beautiful terrace where you can sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful view
I can sincerely recommend this hotel — it has a perfect location, just a three-minute walk from the beach. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and always ready to help
Overall it is a well priced hotel for the experience in a great area
The staff are polite and professional and always give you a smile
