The location of the hotel is very close to Spanish steps. Just walk up the steps and it’s very close. Their service is impeccable and friendly. I love their buffet breakfast especially the thick hot chocolate serve at the buffet.

The hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, but in reality it deserves no more than a solid 4 stars. The reasons are simple: the rooms are extremely modest, the elevators are slow and in need of adjustment — this is not the standard of a true 5-star hotel. It's quiet here, but the quality of the Waldorf Astoria is not up to par. The parking fee is 45 yuan a day, which is incredible on the hill of Rome. The facilities are relatively old and really not worth the price.

I liked the hotel's decor, the location was convenient, and the service was excellent. However, I was woken up by mosquito bites in the room and had to swat them away in the middle of the night, which disrupted my sleep. I suggest adding an electronic mosquito killer. This is a very old-fashioned hotel, comparable to the Portman Hotel in Shanghai. Very convenient while in Milan

Right across from the Milan Convention Center, this hotel is super convenient for exhibition attendees. If you get a room on the east side, you'll have a fantastic panoramic view of the exhibition hall. The breakfast spread is also extensive. A special shout-out for the takeaway coffee cups – a real lifesaver!

Despite the problems we had with the booking, the people from the hotel were more than friendly and helped us to make our stay at an enviable level. Especially the guy from the reception Stefano was ultra friendly and showed that he knows how to do his job perfectly. We will be back next year because of him.

The facilities are below expectations if you want to sport and tennis really is not the place to go. Beach is nice....food quality is good....long queues for a cappuccino for a silly booking systems.

The ease of which everything can be accessed and enjoyed at the GranSerena is its main pulling factor. Its location gained only 4 stars as it is one of many Italian resorts which is difficult to navigate onto a main route, but then 5 stars would be applicable because it has situated itself next to a fine Italian beach.

Appearance of the hotel, many pools and spa treatments are unique. The hotel is very stylishly. What can be improved is the function of the aircondition in the fitnessroom and not least maintenance of the machines. We had to train in 30 ˚C and some of the machines were out of order or dit not work properly.

Beatrice was very kind to me ,arranged my early flight home after a domestic. Male receptionist was unhelpful. Bruno and tizhiano very good. No iron or kettle,had to borrow a special plug, my adapter wasn't right. Spa advertised, but not the expensive prices, was in room 107, deliveries at 6am in the morning were not nice. But clean, great food, would stay again.

Spotlessly clean hotel. Room on small side but was not an issue. We took our own kettle as had read previously on here that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room and were glad we did. This is a lovely hotel. We booked through tui. And thought we had a side sea view. We were greeted at reception with lovely Vanessa. Who was very nice. Professional and courteous.
