Cascina De' Fagiolari in Lastra a Signa

The place was very nice and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, but that didn't mean there weren't problems... The photos of the rooms presented on expedia/hotels.com are the same for all room types, meaning you can pay less or more and get the same room. I paid the most expensive one, after all I was on my honeymoon, and I was allocated to one whose photo was also in the advertisement for the cheapest one. There are no down comforters, patio, or balcony in all rooms - be aware. The heating wasn't working yet and the air conditioning didn't have a remote control. We had to ask for the remote and the comforter so we wouldn't get cold. The "basic" room noticeably had a sewage problem since in the middle of the night we woke up to the smell, it was impossible to sleep because it was so strong.
The next day, after complaining about the odor and the lack of equipment that should have been part of the room automatically, since we paid the most expensive one, they transferred us to another room (but we didn't have hot water because someone forgot to leave the heating on).
The breakfast is complete but basic.
The restaurant also leaves something to be desired: we ordered a pizza that was supposed to come with gorgonzola, but it came without. I had to ask for bread and a candlestick for our table because it was never served, but the cover charge was quickly applied.
In short, even with the good location and cleanliness, I don't recommend it, and if you go, pay attention to the points I mentioned earlier so you don't go through what we went through.
