Stayed for 4 nights in a traditional style room. The pads were by far the thickest and comfiest I’ve had during my whole trip in Japan. The breakfast every morning was excellent and filling. The onsen facilities are simple but hit the spot after snowboarding. It is located just down the hill from the Goryu Escal Plaza base area, a 10 minute walk. They have a free shuttle during ski season that will take you up to the base if you don’t want to walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Hakuba!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Mont Blanc. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, assisting us with everything we needed to know about our stay in Hakuba from lift passes, to travel and other activities. A friend in our group also got very sick whilst we were here, and I cannot understate how caring and helpful every one of the staff were. We loved staying here.

The delicious breakfast was a daily highlight, and the location is perfect—nice and quiet but with a couple of food places within a 5-minute walking distance. Theres also daily scheduled free shuttle bus to Escal Plaza in the morning and 7-11 at night. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. 🙇🏻‍♀️

We had the most beautiful stay here in Hotel Montblanc. Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable bedding. Heating works great as well. The food is warm and very filling. The customer service is very welcoming and kind. There was also a bus stop for Escal Plaza in front of the hotel so everything was convenient. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Hotel Montblanc. Staff are amazing, super helpful and always wanting to go the extra mile. Annis set us up with discount lift passes and equipment from Hillside rentals. Nothing was too much trouble. The nightly 7-11 runs were great too. Location is a 10 minute walk to Escal plaza and there's a bus stop out the front for the daily ski run shuttles. Breakfast always fueled us up for a big day and the onsen was a perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend the Hotel Montblanc in Hakuba!

The experience was the best in Baima. The guy at the front desk could communicate in English and the service was very good. The bed and quilt in the room I booked were very comfortable. Although it was not big, it had everything it should have. It was very warm overall. There is a drying room for skiing and you can also take a hot spring bath. There is a shuttle bus to Wulong at the door, which is a 20-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The best thing is the breakfast and dinner in the room. The restaurant is very beautiful, the service is also very good, and the Western dinner is delicious. Overall very satisfied

Great experience in Hakuba, staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was comfortable. The hotel is located very near to Goryu, with free busses up to the slopes every morning, along with a great local bar (Tracks Bar) directly across the street. This area of Hakuba is definitely more geared towards the ‘local’ population, meaning lifties and ski instructors who work on the mountain. It was a lot of fun to be able to meet people working here from all over the globe and not feel super touristy. Would highly recommend for a family trip or a trip with friends! Will definitely be coming back in following years. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel at home!

Except that there is no smart toilet, the hotel is a bit old, but the service and location are good. It is a ten-minute walk to Wulong. If it snows, you can ski back from Wulong.

I have stayed at Santana twice for wintersports holidays over the last years. I really really love this place. Very homely, great location, extremely nice and accommodating owners, comfy but affordable rooms and great communal areas.
