An absolutely amazing experience! The outdoor hot spring in the snow couldn't have been more perfect. No wonder a day trip to the onsen costs 2000 yen.

Usually, if you book directly at the hotel and the flight is cancelled, you can cancel for free, so I don’t know whether it is the hotel that does not allow cancellation or Ctip’s reason

The location is good, just opposite Kitami JR Station, and there is a hot spring in the hotel. There are many delicious places to eat within walking distance. Very satisfied!

It is just across the street from Kitami Station. You can see it when you look up after exiting the station. There is a stamping area in the hotel lobby

Just a few minutes' walk from Abashiri Bus Station, and about a 15-minute walk to the icebreaker terminal. Across the bridge behind the hotel, there's a local supermarket with lots of great deals, and also a pharmacy

The view from the hotel window is beautiful; you can see many geese on the other side of the river. The hotel has a hot spring, free popsicles on the 9th floor, and you can borrow manga to read

For Japan, the room wasn't small; it was actually pretty good. You could easily open two or three suitcases without any issues. For a 'pigeon-coop' hotel in Japan, you can't ask for much more

Otherwise, if you're coming from Hakodate or some other remote place, it's quite a long journey, and if you miss your train, you might have to wait several hours for the next JR. Staying here in advance is the safest bet

The lady at the front desk and a slightly plump guy were both very enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. I went during a very sensitive time, and there were absolutely no problems

The only minor drawback, if I had to name one, is that there aren't many shopping centers or entertainment options nearby, and it gets dark early. If you're flying home, you absolutely, positively must book this place!!

I booked this hotel as I needed to fly out early from Chitose. I arrived at 12pm but wasn't able to check in until 3pm but my luggage could be stored. The rooms are SMALL but practical, no complaints

It's a shame that many shuttle bus routes and stops have been canceled this year; we can only get to the nearest Annupuri, and need to take the Niseko bus to other ski resorts. The hotel service is excellent

When I mentioned I couldn't use the hot springs, he kindly gave us some waterproof band-aids the next day when we saw him

It's really convenient for getting to Annupuri ski resort. They have a shuttle service that takes you there right away, and the staff are very friendly.

The location is great, a three-minute walk from Kitami station and department stores, and there is a convenience store diagonally opposite. The flat parking lot is large. Breakfast was pretty standard

I was surprised that it was only one-third the price compared to Tokyo... The sauna was great, you could use as many towels as you wanted, and there was an outdoor space to relax, so I was very satisfied.

Apparently women can choose between breakfast or an anime tea set, but I was given the anime tea set without being asked. I later asked the front desk and they changed it to breakfast

After 9pm, the elevator closest to the hotel stops working, and the elevator far from the hotel is working, so it was a bit difficult for me to move around with luggage as I was unfamiliar with the area

There is a TV and you can watch YouTube, so it is a relaxing place to stay. I would like to stay here again. The breakfast was delicious and I ate too much. Thank you for your hospitality

I came to Kitami City, Hokkaido on a business trip. The hotel is located in the center of town, so it's convenient for going out for drinks. It's comfortable with a hot spring and sauna.

I always wipe down the tub with an alcohol wipe as soon as I get into a room, and I was genuinely shocked by how clean the wipe stayed – spotless! This time, I got up early to try the hotel breakfast, and just as the reviews raved, it was excellent

The space is quite spacious and very clean. The location is super convenient, right by the subway station – just walk straight out and you can't miss it. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time

Hotel Nord Otaru is just next to Otaru Canal, very convenient location. Especially wanted to choose this lovely hotel which I stayed 10 years ago in year 2015 with my family of 5 person

I originally wanted to book for five nights, but they were fully booked for two of those nights, so I only got to stay for one. I'll definitely come back to this place on my next visit

You can walk to all the nearby attractions, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around. The breakfast spread is also very generous

The hotel management is really poor. The public hot spring always has a sticky film on top, and there were foreign objects in the large pool where people lie down, almost cutting my skin

The worst part is that these things can't be removed. The day after soaking, my feet were incredibly itchy, probably due to a fungal infection. People with tattoos and whatnot were also soaking, and no one seemed to care

They will give you a guided tour introducing the facilities of the hotel after you completed the check in process. There is a hut with a pool in the garden offering free footbath which is fun

Beautiful hotel, nice interior and onsen.   Overall is good except there is no restaurant nearby the hotel, need to walk for 10-20 minutes to go to the nearest restaurants

the buffet is very good with a lot of diy element. the hotel is very much filled with art pieces which makes it very unique. the onsen is not big but serves its function. the room is clean and tidy.

This time I traveled with my family, and the hotel was quite nice with very friendly staff. Due to my child's allergies, we couldn't experience the hot springs, which was quite a shame

We are staying 2 night, so they only give change of towels which they hang outside the door handle in the morning. You have to place ur own trash outside the room door in the morning urself as well

This is essentially a remote, small town with not many locals or tourists. There's a lot of snow, practically non-stop. It's a good choice for those who enjoy solitude or want to see a snowy landscape

Very good only 8 minutes from Hirafu, with Shuttle Bus transfer. Overall good! But in the morning to take a shower to open the water earlier, maybe lately too cold, D water not so quickly hot

There's no onsen (hot spring), but you can use the onsen at the sister hotel, Vale. A noticeable problem is the poor soundproofing. The walls are okay, but the doors aren't soundproof
