I am grateful for the detailed consideration of the staff. It feels very good to see the sea outside from the big window. I was able to stay quietly and comfortably
I stayed at this hotel with a Japanese-style room because my child had a bad sleep. It was spacious, but the passage to the bath and toilet was narrow
There are hot springs, restaurants, and food stores nearby, so it's convenient (by car). Breakfast had squid sashimi like Hakodate. The grilled fish was not salty and was plump and delicious
Hokkaido is a very unique city, and this is a very cost-effective hotel. Outside the window is the Sea of Japan, and you can see many seagulls
The house is not too small, has all the facilities, and is very comfortable for one person to live in
There is a convenience store diagonally across the road, and on the right side of the hotel is a pizza shop. It is convenient for eating and drinking, but the room facilities are a bit old and there are few power sockets
It’s a compact hotel located near the JR station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the airport, but you have to show your intention when checking in
Very good location! Not far from the JR station..walking distance. The bathroom is small but the hotel has a big and clean hot bath pool on the 6th floor. The staff are nice and very helpful!
Lovely hotel, really clean and has everything you need. The onsen was amazing and staff were ever so nice. Even a free mini bus to airport if needed!
Definitely recommend:)
Spacious and clean room. The hotel is right next to Chitose Stn. They even offer a free hotel shuttle. 100% recommend if you are taking an early flight out in the morning.
Great location, just two minute walk from Chitose station. Room is bigger than standard japan room size. Bathroom is a bit small but full of function that we need
The hotel is old but well maintained, the location is closed to the airport with providing free shuttle from the hotel to the airport in the morning.

For the price, getting breakfast included is an amazing deal! They don't clean the room every day, but they do empty the trash and change towels (just leave them by the door). I actually prefer this kind of service
Breakfast is served on the second floor; it's the same every day, but the toast is delicious! 😋 The room has a mini-fridge, and even with our two large suitcases open, the aisle was still spacious
This place is near Kita-Juni-Jo Station. It's a bit of a walk from Hakodate Station, but if the weather's bad, you can just take the subway. The staff are very polite and friendly
It's so small that it's hard to even open a carry-on suitcase, and the bathroom is tiny too. But for this price, it's totally acceptable! 🥰 Satisfied
Convenient location and walking distance to Sapporo JR station. Staff spoke limited english but were genuinely sweet and friendly. Will book again.
All in all, it's a hotel I'd definitely stay at again! However, if you can't stand super small rooms, then I wouldn't recommend it
As a result, I was very satisfied with the location from the station and the hot spring facilities, but there were some disappointing aspects in terms of the facilities in the rooms, so I would like to share my honest impressions
When choosing a hotel in Abashiri City, I placed importance on access from the station and the abundance of hot spring facilities, so I decided to make a reservation at the Royal Hotel, which met my criteria perfectly
You can see the hotel just a short walk from the station, so even travelers who are unfamiliar with the area should be able to get there without getting lost
It is very close to JR Abashiri Station, about a 5-minute walk, and is a very convenient location for sightseeing and transportation
Recently, I stayed at the Abashiri Royal Hotel for one night during my trip to Eastern Hokkaido
The hotel is old, but it's still relatively clean and tidy.
The breakfast options were not huge, but the food was delicious and satisfying, with dishes made with Hidaka's specialty kelp and the ability to sample and compare honey. I would like to stay here again
As a result, the correct answer!
The side dishes were plentiful, the seasoning was just right, and the vegetables were fresh. What surprised me was the taste of honey. After buying it at the hotel, I went to the store
The vegetables at breakfast were delicious and looked beautiful too, so we were very satisfied. The male staff member's service was excellent and attentive
The toilet, sink, and bath were all separate, which made it very comfortable. The low price and the large room were perfect for a family stay
The hotel is lovely. Very clean, very quiet. The only problem was that they don't have any coffee available during the day.
At the breakfast buffet, you can enjoy honey from honeycomb, which goes well with yogurt and bread.

Great locker area to store ski equipment with ample drying rack space to keep the boots and gloves dry for the next day. No complaints and would definitely stay again
The location in middle Hirafu is good enough that you probably don't need a car, unless you are planning to drive to other, non-Niseko resorts (like Rusutsu). Setup is lightly serviced apartments
Stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon. Thomas was super helpful with our check in and out! The room and amenities were great! Nicely tucked away from the main areas so it was nice and quiet
Amazing place to stay, incredible views of Mt Yotei, great location. Having the drivers available for drop offs and pick ups made a huge difference
Three of us rented a pleasant 2-bd unit here during peak ski season. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious
The room was very spacious and kept clean. Hotel staff were kind and very professional and responsive
Great one !!! Reasonable price and room is very clean and comfortable.
Great value hotel. All rounder. Highly recommended for short stay. Quiet location but near enough to train station and restaurants.
Close to train station. Good buffet breakfast. Would stay here again
Polite staff
Breakfast spread is small
No nearby convenience store
Very good service & breakfast was great!
I had an urgent need to go to Kushiro and stayed overnight without meals. There's a parking lot, but it's not very spacious. Even with a kei car, the width is just barely enough to park, but it's manageable
Once again to recommend this hotel, I so lucky to find this hotel because it’s all good. The real of the hotel is so freaking perfect. The breakfast is so cheap and good service
Really nice place to stay and ski 🎿. Good breakfast and comfortable room and amenities.
Easlity to drive around the area. Nearly is shopping market.
Everything you want you can ask the stuff in front of thelounge to call the taxi so you can ask them so that is easy hotel, and a cheap one I think
The only thing to take note is there is no elevator to second floor, have to use staircase and carry the travel case to the upper level
ONLY ME AND HIM IN THE ROOM, THEN HE SHOUTED AT ME IN JAPANESE RUDELY !!!!
I have the right to understand all the pricing and information although I have time exceed, I can pay however I don't deserve the bad attitude of their hotel service
They finally still needed to charge me 2000 Yan. I requested to have the price list and all policies about the check in and check out. THE MAN RECEPTIONIST CAME INTO MY ROOM AND SHOWED ME THE BOOKLET
The room is small, but it’s cheap and the breakfast is rich
The facilities were quite dated, comparable to an old motel. Breakfast is included, but it's very basic: just toast and coffee, or a Japanese option. Go in with low expectations, and it's perfectly adequate for the price
This hotel is good. Breakfast is free, laundry facilities are provided and the rooms have adequate heating. I don't get the hate from the other reviews.
The room is clean, breakfast is provided, and there is parking space with convenient access.
The room is simple but comfortable, the price is reasonable, suitable for a temporary stay
He offered us free flow free drinks and free ice cream (which was also very tasty) When we wanted to have some late night snacks bought from a convenient store, he also helped us reheat the food
A nice small hotel with only 26 rooms. Room is big and comfortable. The hotel served free ice cream and sparkling wine at night which was much appreciated. Onsen includes an outdoor section as well.
But as we step inside the property from a heavy snow, we saw this kind gentleman waiting for us right at the door. He greeted us, helped us check in, and explained everything clearly
誠にありがとうございます!
Everything else was great as well! The room was comfortable, the breakfast was yummy, and it’s so nice to have a hot spring after out in the cold for the entire day
Freshly ground coffee is a great thing for coffee lovers. Dinner was a 10-piece nigiri sushi course, which was delicious. I was also very satisfied with the variety of options available for breakfast
The lovely old gentleman serving as at night was one of the best front desk staff I’ve ever met. We originally planned to arrive at the property in the afternoon
Cheap and friendly! I used it for skiing. It is a necessary and sufficient facility. If you are lucky enough to be parked in a covered parking lot, you will be free from the annoyance of snow
Great stay for the price, single room with enough room for luggage. Breakfast for ¥600 it's definitely worth it, don't expect to be fancy but good enough for the price.
With the increase in tourists and the rise in accommodation prices across the board, it's great to be able to stay here so cheaply. The rooms are clean and warm, so I'm very satisfied.
Nice clean little business hotel with breakfast. It's seen it's years, but all the necessary facilities are there and not much to complain for the price
The breakfast is Japanese style buffet, limited options and practically the same everyday, but healthy and tasty enough
Location is very nice by the way totally happiness in this travel. thanks for your supporting.
The owner is very nice and only speaks Japanese. There is a coin-operated washing machine. The room is very clean and square. The traditional Japanese-style room is much larger than the one in other cities
However, it is a walking distance from JR and it is the opposite distance from Mt. It is a bit far to the scenic spot
The room is small but very cosy and tidy. The receptionist is super attentious and nice. Within walking distance from main train and bus stations. Good option for the price.
The staff is nice and friendly, helpful. cons :
wifi is really weak
luggage storage mentioned on listing but only allowed 12 noon
with at least 10 mins walk to station and storage lockers, i believe it should be revised on stated on booking
Good location. Funny smell when I got inside the room. Small bathroom. Friendly staff. Overall pretty good.
I had piping hot miso soup and refilled the rice four times! Last time, breakfast and dinner were included, but this time, I only had breakfast. There is a microwave and an electric kettle, so you can warm up food
Was here for the day use onsen. Great quality of water for experienced Japan traditional onsen explorers. It’s an old hotel so facility is a bit outdated. One big tub max 6 people at once
Onsen plus towels rental were ¥550+¥100
Decent distance from Goryokaku Park though!
The staff is very polite & appears to remember their guests so they'd quickly give me my key when I returned each night, without needing to ask or verify room numbers
I can't say how clean the onsen was because I didn't wear my glasses, but it seemed fine. Decent size & perfect temperature for me. In terms of onsens & shrines, it's in a good spot
I don't think it was other rooms or traffic, but random, loud thuds. In terms of pricing, I'm not familiar with how much onsen/ryokan usually are or how much a very nice one is
The attention to detail in the food presentation and the exquisite flavors were a true delight for the senses. I can say that Zaborin is undoubtedly one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in
We enjoyed a short, two-night stay at Zaborin Ryokan last weekend, and we loved every minute of the stay. The accommodations were exceptional! The suite was spacious at ~100 square meters (~1100 square feet)
Zaborin Onsen Ryokan truly exceeded our expectations! The beautiful natural scenery was incredibly refreshing, and combined with delicious meals, a clean and spacious room, and delightful indoor and outdoor onsen baths, it made for a perfect vacation experience
The setting is private and the rooms feel nestled in the woodland. The service is friendly, polite and attentive. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the indoor and outdoor spring pools were a treat
Finally checked off my must-stay hotel! Getting to the hotel from Sapporo was easier than I expected. Zaborin offers a pick-up service from Kuch'an Station. The autumn scenery along the way was breathtaking
There was a private outdoor onsen as well as an internal onsen that we loved using. The living room allowed us to relax comfortably in the suite even though we did not use the separate dining area
4th night hotel, Sado Japanese Inn, too late to book a room, can only book a more partial place, located next to the sky, the hotel is by the river, the mountain pass fresh air, rooms are unified room type, although the place is remote, but many people stay, indoor and outdoor hot springs, dinner and breakfast general, but a surprise is horse meat sashimi
Think this is one of the legend still stands! Lovely onzen and truly healing! The “ruins” (one small and one big development in front) is pretty stunning when I visited. Wonder what will that like in the near future.
The calm surrounding scenery, the friendly staff, and the simple yet luxurious and neat rooms were all very good. It felt like I was in a Japanese drama. It's a really good place to stay after climbing Asahi-dake
Beautiful spot!!! Quality of hot spring is lovely, opened from 12:00- 8:00 for guests. Always river sounds can be heard. Wanna repeat to stay.
However, it seems difficult to access without a car, so I wonder if you can get there by public transportation
Far from city but view is fantastic. Food &bed is good
Great place to stay!
Very clean and with nice equipment (nice coffee espresso machines as well in common areas).
Bath room with Onsen outside was very good!
Had a great night!
The vision from the outside onsen is wonderful
Good overall quality Onsen next to the roadside station
Free parking
Entrance fee ¥440 per adult, free locker
Staff were friendly and courteous
Everyone should try The outdoor onsen area as you can overlooking the ocean in the daytime while watching stars by night
From the picture they displayed even the Japanese Emperor was visited this Onsen
Highly recommend
This hotel has a rich history, as can be seen from the photos of celebrities on the walls. The hotel's hot spring facilities and rooms are very clean and tidy, but please note the opening hours
You can also order additional meals, some of which are very delicious, and you can enjoy dinner while enjoying the sea view. There is a seaside park nearby where you can go for a walk
Cheap outdoor onsen stopover when you're driving along the Shin-Hidaka area. They say the water is natural but I may have smelled chlorine. I could be wrong. There's also a decent restaurant in there.
The breakfast and dinner are Japanese style, and the taste is good, suitable for Chinese tastes. The hot spring water is natural, with hot pools and warm water pools, which are very comfortable
The hot springs are nice, but there is no private hot spring. The shabu-shabu dinner is good, but the other raw food is a bit hard to eat. The hotel has a car to take you to the cable car in the morning, which is great.
The hotel gives a ryokan experience. The buffet spread is amazing for both dinner and breakfast. It has a generous variety of Japanese cuisines and delicious sweet melons are offered all you can eat
Although the building of the hotel was constructed in 1997, the room was modernly decorated and very comfortable. There were 3 onsens available for guests to use and they could not be missed
This hotel is on the mountain, private, quiet, and has a rich history. I arrived after Christmas at the end of December. I personally think it is better than the snow in Xuexiang
The ingredients are unique, but the amount and variety of food are small, there are not many soups, the soup is authentic, and the opening hours are a bit short
July 2024: Very clean, beautiful scenery, well-equipped with a washer and dryer, a large refrigerator, and various pots and pans. The only thing missing was cooking oil and aluminum foil, which I provided myself
It's a bit far to the check-in point and supermarket, so driving is recommended. I stayed for three nights and really didn't want to leave. I hope to visit again during the snow season
The bed was very comfortable, with just the right firmness. Waking up in the morning, the view of the lake and trees outside the window was delightful
The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting me with a warm smile every time they made eye contact. The free lounge was also convenient and enjoyable. Oh, and the breakfast was amazing! Breakfast is a must!
Walking distance to lots of eating places opposite river. Choice of shampoo and liquid bath as well as pillow. Free red wine and nice coffee was a big plus. Also tried their deer curry just for the experience
Although this hotel no onsen but it us worth for staying. Reason being they provide very nice breakfast set and no parking charges plus the services of the hotel was great n warm.
The hotel is a bit old, but the selection isn't very good, and the value is good. Booking through this site won't guarantee the lowest price, but it's still reasonable. The hotel is quite good, located in a busy area
Although it feels a bit dated, it's well-maintained, so I had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, offering great value, and I was able to spread out my suitcase without any issues
Just across the bridge from the hotel is Fisherman's Wharf and Shore Fireplace. Breakfast is delicious with three options, and I highly recommend it
5 minutes walk to Surugaya & Mandarake Sapporo Norbesa. Very center hotel towards figure selling store locations. Karaage and the Croquettes are Tasty. The Hotel also received and accepted parcels on my behalf
Thank you for the wonderful Experience. We booked Triple Room tbh its fine. Tourist can't really be picky as we don't stay at the hotel most of the time only using it to sleep at the night
Train entry right outside and a kombini right next door. All the shops and restaurants are close by and very walkable. Odori park for the snow festival was an easy 15 minute walk away
If you're planning to visit Hokkaido, APA is a great place to stay. Not only it is cozy but it is so convenient to the train station and nearby restaurants such as Matsuya.
Room was clean and comfortable with a window I could open slightly for fresh air. Bed was comfortable and the usual Japanese amenities available
Enjoyed my stay here.a home away from home 😁😁.very affordable and conveniently located near a main subway station from Sapporo eki
