Rishiri Marine Hotel, Wakkanai1 / 26
8.5
Hokkaido, Wakkanai, Oshidomari Aza Minato 81-5 🧭 Map
The hotel's exterior looks very ordinary, not as good as other hotels of the same level on Rebun Island. Because of the rain, the sea view was just average. The rooms and bathrooms were very small
The room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. I had eaten the sea urchin in Wakkanai and Rebun Island, but this one was also very delicious. The nostalgic seasoned boiled fish and chawanmushi reminded me of my mother
The hotel's dinner and breakfast were purely Japanese. Since the children don't eat seafood, there were almost no other Western options
They even gave us a morning ride to the trail head to hike Mt Rishiri. The best part was the food! The dinner was a beautiful spread of dishes and so tasty. We had a perfect view of Mt Rishiri and the harbour
This was such a nice hotel to stay in, within eyesight and a 6 minute walk of the ferry terminal. So convenient! The staff was very friendly and helpful in English
Since I might not be able to catch dinner until I come back from hiking at night, my uncle still specially reserved dinner for me and waited for me to come back

Villa Concordia Resort & Spa, Hakodate1 / 30

Hokkaido, Hakodate, 3-5 Suehiro-cho 🧭 Map
(2 suites 8 standard rooms) and ours (a suite) was massively huge, 2 rooms with a total of 91sqm, but not just spacious, it had all the amenities one needs for a 5 day stay! Beds were super comfy, the bath had a perfect layout, TV unfortunately no English, WIFI perfect, kitchenette just right for two, and with the seafood market so easily accessible, perfect for us! Loads of places nearby, trip to...
Villa Concordia Resort & Spa, Hokkaido We were at our last stop a tad apprehensive about this property, various things popped up that made me question our choice! However this was probably the best stay on this trip! A 6 storey building, containing just 10 rooms
We felt totally relaxed and enjoyed our time here! Highly recommended, even with kids! #sapporo #Japantravels #MarketAdventures #gourmettravels #selfdrivingholidays #hokkaido #hakodate #villaconcordia #villaconcordiaandspa
Room, Breakfast, Staffs were excellent. Breakfast was a top notch experience. Of all the hotels my family and I stayed during our ten days trip to Sapporo, Otaru and Haneda, this hotel surpassed the rest.
I cannot reccomend villa Concordia resort & spa enough, without a doubt the best pick when visiting this lovely city! Thanks again owner & staff! I will be back!
We stayed for 5 days and had room (suite) 502. We enjoyed every aspect of this lovely hotel, for example each morning we had a different breakfast, beautifully prepared and more than enough

Hokkaido, Chitose, 2-3-1 Shizunaihoncho 🧭 Map
The breakfast options were not huge, but the food was delicious and satisfying, with dishes made with Hidaka's specialty kelp and the ability to sample and compare honey. I would like to stay here again
The vegetables at breakfast were delicious and looked beautiful too, so we were very satisfied. The male staff member's service was excellent and attentive
The toilet, sink, and bath were all separate, which made it very comfortable. The low price and the large room were perfect for a family stay
The hotel is lovely. Very clean, very quiet. The only problem was that they don't have any coffee available during the day.
At the breakfast buffet, you can enjoy honey from honeycomb, which goes well with yogurt and bread.
The rooms are clean and seem to have been renovated. The rooms were spacious and comfortable

Hokkaido, Hakodate, 1-15-3, Yunokawa cho 🧭 Map
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the buffet dinner and breakfast were plentiful, the bath was quite large, complimentary tea and popsicles were provided outside the hot spring, free parking was available, and the staff were friendly
It was the easiest I've ever understood during my trip to Japan! The room was very clean, the food was good, the staff was very welcoming, and I loved being able to watch the sunrise from my room
I think it would be nice if the amenities were a little softer! The hot spring water is so good, but. I don't think the amenities make up for it! Especially around the hairline~~
Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but I was able to arrive around 2:15 PM, which was nice. The man's English was easy to understand, which was great
Overall, it was a good experience
For this price, it includes a dinner buffet and a breakfast buffet, both of which are excellent quality with a good variety of choices. This offers extremely high value for money

Service was extremely warm from the moment they welcomed us into the hotel. Room was nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing with the sea view!
Amazing service, super clean facility. Get the room with outside bath facing the sea.
Nice service and buffet from the hotel. Nice room with the sea view and nice onsen next to the sea. Only one bad thing is onsen facility is closed during the morning
The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!
Awesome service Location have to take taxi for 2000 yen from jr station. Room is awesome Breakfast is awesome though it end early at 9:30 Amneties are good especially the self serve snacks
First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage

Yunokawa Onsen Emi Hakodateya, Hakodate1 / 29
9.0
Hokkaido, Hakodate, 3-10-3,Yunokawa-cho 🧭 Map
He offered us free flow free drinks and free ice cream (which was also very tasty) When we wanted to have some late night snacks bought from a convenient store, he also helped us reheat the food
A nice small hotel with only 26 rooms. Room is big and comfortable. The hotel served free ice cream and sparkling wine at night which was much appreciated. Onsen includes an outdoor section as well.
But as we step inside the property from a heavy snow, we saw this kind gentleman waiting for us right at the door. He greeted us, helped us check in, and explained everything clearly
誠にありがとうございます! Everything else was great as well! The room was comfortable, the breakfast was yummy, and it’s so nice to have a hot spring after out in the cold for the entire day
Freshly ground coffee is a great thing for coffee lovers. Dinner was a 10-piece nigiri sushi course, which was delicious. I was also very satisfied with the variety of options available for breakfast
The lovely old gentleman serving as at night was one of the best front desk staff I’ve ever met. We originally planned to arrive at the property in the afternoon

This review is for the relaxation spa inside the hotel. 5 stars, I wish I could give 10! I just had the best massage of my life with Takemoto. She is incredibly skilled, intuitive, and listens to the body
Great stay. Huge room. Very very clean. And it so great I booked a room with private Onsen bath. Staff were extremely polite. Just the buffet dinner was good but under what I expected. Great stay
I feel like I’m walking on a cloud after having a massage with her. The whole environment was also so relaxing inside. I was able to select my essential oil blend and finished with tea afterwards
Hot springs in Hakodate City. Hot spring pool in the room. The dinner buffet was a little weak!
What a special experience that I will never forget
I arrived at the hotel to check in at 8pm. The front desk customer service was unable to answer my questions clearly. The room was large, but the bed was relatively thin. Men over 6 feet tall could not stretch out

You can also order additional meals, some of which are very delicious, and you can enjoy dinner while enjoying the sea view. There is a seaside park nearby where you can go for a walk
Great place to stay! Very clean and with nice equipment (nice coffee espresso machines as well in common areas). Bath room with Onsen outside was very good! Had a great night!
The vision from the outside onsen is wonderful
Good overall quality Onsen next to the roadside station Free parking Entrance fee ¥440 per adult, free locker Staff were friendly and courteous Everyone should try The outdoor onsen area as you can overlooking the ocean in the daytime while watching stars by night From the picture they displayed even the Japanese Emperor was visited this Onsen Highly recommend
This hotel has a rich history, as can be seen from the photos of celebrities on the walls. The hotel's hot spring facilities and rooms are very clean and tidy, but please note the opening hours
Cheap outdoor onsen stopover when you're driving along the Shin-Hidaka area. They say the water is natural but I may have smelled chlorine. I could be wrong. There's also a decent restaurant in there.

Hotel Livemax Sapporo Nakajima Park Grande, Sapporo1 / 27
7.0
Hokkaido, Sapporo, 3-1-26 Minami 9 -Jo Nishi 🧭 Map
Its price is half of that of a normal hotel, and it is perfect for those who just want a place to sleep and shower peacefully while traveling. The capsule hotel here has a bed on the upper and lower floors
You can choose to stay in the upper or lower bed. There is a locker near the window for small suitcases. You can set the password lock yourself. It is recommended that the number should not be too simple
It is safer to set a slightly more difficult one. As for the toilet, it is just a short walk from the door. Next to it is a small lounge for eating and a laundry room for washing clothes
You need to pay by coins to wash clothes, and the dryer next to it also requires coins to use. This capsule hotel is located at Nakajima Park Station on the subway
It is only a 3-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient
The lady at the front desk on the first night spoke too softly.

Beautiful and newly renovated hotel and restaurant right next to the sea located in a small town 15 mins from Otaru. Easy with bus or taxi from Otaru station. Exceptional views from the room and restaurant
They do have restaurant area with sea view however that day when we stayed in they didnt serve breakfast. Just know that this house is owned by a local, so there could be a challenge for language
This cute big house turned into a homestay for guests and the house and room are really clean. The location is great with a sea view
Facing the sea The restaurant requires advance reservation
Very good, nice people, great view, nice room! It is recommended to book two nights to relax! The most amazing thing is opening the balcony door! From that moment on, you feel that taking a taxi is really worth it.
We had a King Room with a front view, The Room is spacious and very comfortable with a little kitchen and appliances. The room has a little space to do laundry as they have a washing machine

The room was so fitting and it really felt like Hokkaido and on top of all that it’s so close to the station. Overall great experience, would recommend and for sure coming again in the future!
Cute & Cosy My family & I had a wonderful time staying at the mobile cabin. It was like a tiny home with all the amenities that we needed. It was quiet & peaceful although it was situated next to the train track
Nice place, with free parking onsite. It's under the JR line, but we are barely heard the noise from the trains. Our family very much enjoyed the entertainment area.
There was a fantastic Italian restaurant & takeout fried chicken shop nearby
But as it’s located alongside of the railway, it’s quite noisy and you can’t open windows as people pass by in a meter away. A bit complicated to check in and out, that was not the best thing about this place
The location was great, and it was larger and more comfortable than I expected. On the downside, the shower room was a little small, about the size of a telephone booth, but I'd definitely stay here again.

The service was excellent and the room was very spacious. The bathtub was smart – you just press a button and it automatically fills up and stops. There was also a microwave, which was great! The hygiene was good too.
Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it
The hotel is a 6-minute walk from the station. The room is spacious and very clean, perfect for Chinese travelers. It has a microwave and cooking utensils, so you can prepare your own meals
This is an excellent 4-star hotel to stay in Hokadate. Almost as good as the 5-stars but at the 3+star price. Rooms are big and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful
I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window
The bathtub was large and I could really relax in the warm water. It's also conveniently located near the station and a convenience store, which was great.

Excellent stay! The food was delicious, and the service was very professional. I also appreciated the airport shuttle service. The hotel views were stunning
We had a wonderful time in Abashiri and will definitely visit again
The onsite shops and bar open at certain hours only
Not to mention, the outdoor onsen is incredibly soothing—bathing while snowflakes gently fall around you is truly an unforgettable experience. The only downside of this hotel is its location
It does take some effort, but thankfully, the beautiful snowy scenery along the way helps keep your spirits up. All in all, this is a hotel well worth trying

Only thing was the pillow was a bit hard. Oh, in the room WiFi signal was not Strong. The room were large, everything new and clean
It was even more beautiful than I expected! I was able to see the sunrise from my room, which made for a wonderful memory!
I thought the staff should be careful. After that, I wish the amenities were enhanced
It was a place where I had everything I needed, but nothing I didn't need, I could spend my time as I like, and I could spend a relaxing time. ・ Location: Thank you for having a convenience store nearby
There was no information about the nearby hot spring, which is about a three-minute drive away, until I asked about it
I was relatively satisfied, but unfortunately At the restaurant, there was a note not to have a conversation without a mask, but it is very disappointing to see a group of young people talking without a mask

The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting me with a warm smile every time they made eye contact. The free lounge was also convenient and enjoyable. Oh, and the breakfast was amazing! Breakfast is a must!
Walking distance to lots of eating places opposite river. Choice of shampoo and liquid bath as well as pillow. Free red wine and nice coffee was a big plus. Also tried their deer curry just for the experience
Although this hotel no onsen but it us worth for staying. Reason being they provide very nice breakfast set and no parking charges plus the services of the hotel was great n warm.
The hotel is a bit old, but the selection isn't very good, and the value is good. Booking through this site won't guarantee the lowest price, but it's still reasonable. The hotel is quite good, located in a busy area
Although it feels a bit dated, it's well-maintained, so I had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, offering great value, and I was able to spread out my suitcase without any issues
Just across the bridge from the hotel is Fisherman's Wharf and Shore Fireplace. Breakfast is delicious with three options, and I highly recommend it

The room was cosy with a beautiful ocean view. The furnishings are not modern, but that is part of the charm, as it feels like stepping back into the 80s or 90s while still being well maintained and fully functional
Heating was sufficient even in temperatures of -5 to -10 degrees. The room was clean, and the bedding was prepared during dinner and folded again at breakfast, which made us feel very well taken care of
The private hot spring bath we booked was excellent in both its environment and facilities, and both the indoor and outdoor public baths offered ocean views
Stayed here last week during heavy snowfall, and choosing this ryokan turned out to be the perfect decision. Check-in was detailed and thoughtful
The room faced the sea and had a sea view
A rare find at this ocean-view hot spring hotel! Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the sea, daydreaming, or chatting is simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we had a dedicated butler who escorted us to the large lounge for check-in

I didn't use it, but there was a rest area next to it, which I thought might be for day-trippers. As for the food, dinner was mediocre, but breakfast was delicious. I ordered the "Kaze" course for dinner
Dinner was stewed with whelks and fish, but it was a bit disappointing. The hors d'oeuvres were also a bit disappointing. The only dishes I thought were delicious on the course were the roast pork and salmon belly
The room was clean and nice, but the toilet had a really strange smell from the moment I entered, and I really didn't like it when it was left running. As for the public bath, the bath was really nice

We were struggled only at the beginning that it's required full name for check in and it was clear that space on the keyboard to be seen quickly just to make a space between first name and last name
Self-check-in at the kiosk downstairs. Overall good. There was party noise from the market behind the room, but I was still able to sleep.
Perhaps because it is an annex, there is the inconvenience of having to go to the main building to check your bags if you arrive early on the first day. However, considering the price, the room and bathroom are spacious
Check in/out is unmanned, done via a machine. Enter your name used to book in order to check in and get your key card. Very comfortable stay and access to the places to visit, as well as getting in and out of Otaru.
The hotel has a great location, close to Otaru Station and Nagasaki-ya, and not far from the canal. The street in front is beautiful, romantic, and wide
