Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside, Tokyo1 / 30
8.8
Tokyo, 2-3-24 Kabukicho, Shinjuku-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It is a convenience location. near by 100m has Metro station. Opposite has McD and Aeon minimart. Room are clean and comfort. Staff also friendly and nice.
Everything is good except the hair dryer. It was hot, low flow and very noisy. We thought it was not good so we didn't report it. But we found this brand is quite good until we stay in another Tokyo Stay. Pls check it. We stayed on L10, forgot the room number. Btw I will book again and recommend anyone who wants high cost performance.
It’s just not worth the price you pay. Accom in Tokyo is expensive I get that. But there has to be better options out there. The room was pretty small the hotel itself feels new and nice. Staff are fine. Just couldn’t justify what I paid though.
Good location, walkable from Isetan and Kabukicho, and surrounded by many restaurant. Room is clean and comfortable
Location: Seemed like a good option near Shinjuku Station overall, but it's a bit of a walk, about 20 minutes from the station. Room: Booked a twin room, and I really liked the layout. They managed to separate the bedroom and living areas within a very limited space. Service: Free luggage storage was available. Although the front desk wasn't overly enthusiastic, when I checked in, my luggage was soaked...
Stayed here for a few nights and honestly quite shiok. Room was very clean and well maintained, typical Japanese standard. Location also very convenient — walking distance to Shinjuku station and plenty of food and convenience stores nearby, so supper no problem. Staff were friendly and service was smooth during check-in and check-out. Amenities were decent, though nothing too fancy, but good enough...

✨ My Stay at Akasaka Yoko Hotel – Clean, Strategic, and Surprisingly Spacious I stayed at Akasaka Yoko Hotel during my trip to Tokyo, and it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is conveniently located near Akasaka Station, just a 6-minute walk from Chiyoda Line Gate 7. What made it even more exciting was that the area has a Harry Potter-themed atmosphere, which added a bit of magic to the experience...
The location, facilities, service, and amenities are good. Our biggest and only complaint was the smoke in the hallway on 5th floor. We had booked thru a travel agency. 3 persons. Did not see smoking as an issue when booking. After checking in, realized the strong smell of smoke in the hallway. Even spoke with front desk, was informed that this is the only floor that can accommodate 3 persons...
Very clean. The room service is very thorough and on days when I didn't have my room cleaned, I was given a package with fresh towels. Everything worked well. Great water pressure, always hot. The location is convenient. There are coin washers and dryers available and vending machines. The room was very small and there isn't a great place to put luggage (just the floor). The bathroom is typical for...
Little gem in Tokyo. The location is great and we did not except such a luxurious hotel for that low amount of money we spent. It was just a getaway but turned out to be a solid premium experience. Rooms are well decorated, quiet, solid and comfortable. Including enough water for coffee/tea, amenities and nice shower. Also good view. We enjoyed it.
My 2 month stay at the Akasaka Yoko Hotel was amazing. The entire staff are extremely well mannered and they make it their duty for you to enjoy your stay. However Rabin Thakuri (who I would now call a good friend) went beyond his duties to make me feel at home during my long stay. A genuinely great guy, that made my stay in Japan and at the Akasaka Hotel that much better. This is my 3rd time being...
An older hotel but on the more spacious side for a business hotel plus my room had unusually high ceilings. Try to avoid rooms ending in 18 as the hotel is in a L shape and you can look directly into the neighboring room. I stayed in an older non-renovated room which was designated as non-smoking but this definitely was a smoking room previously... if you are sensitive you will smell cigarette smoke...

Theres 2 entrances to e hotel and e rear exit is extremely near to e train station. Lawson and fam mart are just across e street but 7-11 is slightly further. Theres lots of great food in e vicinity. E washing machine+dryer is definitely a lifesaver! Instructions are printed and quite straightforward. Advised to wash and dry before u leave e hotel, and when back at night dry another round. The room was compact, but the mattress was comfortable, and it even had a small two-person table – it was small but had everything you needed. It surprisingly even came with a washing machine and microwave.
Location is very convenient, less than 5min from train station. There is a family mart n Lawson nearby too. Free coffee vending machine at the lobby. Room is slightly small but normal for Tokyo hotels, Not enough space to fully open 2 cabin size luggage. Furnished with microwave oven and washing machine, detergent provided too.
Location was excellent. The in room washing machine was what we needed, so it was great.
Five-star review! Excellent location, right next to the subway entrance. The room design is stylish, and the bed is incredibly comfortable – I slept soundly all night. The staff are friendly and resolved issues quickly. The breakfast has a great variety and tastes delicious. It offers excellent value for money and is a top choice for both business trips and tourism.
Excellent location and clean! Room equip with microwave and washing machine which came in handy.

Tokyu Stay Shimbashi (Ginza area), Tokyo1 / 25
8.9
Tokyo, 4-23-1 Shimbashi Minato-ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was tiny, but surprisingly it even had a washing machine, so it was well-equipped despite its size. It was quite clean and conveniently located near the subway station, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers.
Great simple hotel located in a convenient location close to the station and walkable distance to Ginza. There’s also a coffee machine downstairs which is a bonus.  I want to especially thank Egoshi-san as well as Yutaro-san for their help with arranging a taxi to the airport.
This is my second time staying at a Tokyu Stay chain hotel and I chose it again for its convenience. The in-room washer-dryer are very useful, especially for longer stays. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to Shinbashi Station, with many izakayas nearby and a convenience store just behind the building. A very practical and comfortable place to stay in Ginza.
Conveniently located near Shinbashi, with plenty of dining options. The best feature of Tokyu Stay is having a washing machine in the room, which is super handy, especially for those who like to do laundry frequently.
A bit noisy due to the trains outside.
The bedding was truly indescribable. They imitated European and American hotels by using sheets instead of duvet covers, which was incredibly uncomfortable. I had a severe allergic reaction, and the hygiene level was far from satisfactory.

Tokyo, 2-16-29 Takanawa, Minato-ku (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Conveniently located near Takanawa Gateway Station (Shinagawa area), with easy access to different parts of Tokyo. The room is reasonably spacious, and cleanliness is decent. Staff are friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
Great staff and service was excellent. Check-in and out was a breeze. Have always enjoyed Tokyu Stay hotels. Unfortunately cleanliness could be better. Had bedbugs bites on the last night of our stay. Unsure if the limited housekeeping can be applied to a high traffic area like Tokyo
Close to subway & JR. the room is spacious & it was comfortable to do work from hotel.I booked the room with washing machine, which is very convenient to stay. This hotel will be my go-to hotel!
This hotel is perfect for introverts! You can opt for just towel changes or schedule a light cleaning, choosing whether or not staff enter your room based on your preference – it's incredibly thoughtful. There's a coffee machine downstairs available anytime. The first floor has a restaurant, and breakfast is served there. While the selection isn't huge, it covers all the essentials, including both...
Full amenities and facility with bath tub, so convinient go to metro and JR. Is really clean and the space is not small. Is great deals
Very convenient location, immediately next to the subway with elevator up (but only stairs down). Alternatively, you may choose the jr which is within 5mjn walk. Great place to stay. However, there are no shopping centres nor large supermarkets in the area. The new gateway shopping mall is a choice though, but not much to shop unless u target for high priced goods

Tokyo, 2-12-2 Toshima, Ikebukuro (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Traveling solo in Tokyo, the room was perfectly adequate, and I could even fit my 28-inch suitcase in it.
The room was a bit small for two people; opening a 28-inch suitcase made it a bit difficult to move around. The hairdryer and toiletries were all Refa. These days, many budget hotels in Japan only offer cleaning services every two or three days, so it was great that this one provided trash disposal and towel changes. The only downside was the independent air conditioning. It might not have been thoroughly...
Booked a stay at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro during the New year weekend. It was located about a 8-10 min walk from Ikebukuro station, which is quite easy to access from the train station. I enjoyed my stay at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro, the location is extremely convenient, just a short walk to the station, with many restaurants and shops nearby. Room was dusty. You get fish from hotel but there is no way to air the room so you live with fish smell.
the hotel breakfast is good and flexible and I really like it. the service is great and i like the washing machine in the room!
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms were also fantastic, providing a very pleasant stay. It definitely lives up to its reputation as a chain hotel, making it truly reliable!
This was my first time staying here. I heard it's a chain hotel, and it was absolutely fantastic! I'm completely won over and will definitely consider Tokyu STAY for future trips to Japan.
I came for a show at Tokyo Dome. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the station: cross a bridge, turn left, go up a slight incline, and you're there. A tip for an easier walk: after crossing the bridge, if you continue straight past the first traffic light and then turn left, the uphill path isn't as steep. There are plenty of dining options in the area. The hotel breakfast, as pictured, consisted of...

Great services and amenities available, English speaking staff. Convenient location with the nishi Shinjuku subway line being 250m away and convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Please note there is only housekeeping is not provided everyday and is limited which is explained upon checking in. We were fine with this option as we were only staying for a few days.
We booked 2 x rooms for our family of 4. The location was nice and quiet about less than 5-8 mins to Shinjuku via bus (bus stop across the road) and about 8-10 min walk to Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. Although there was no room cleaning during our 4 nights stay there was an option to change the towels and garbage disposal as well. Our new favorite hotel in Tokyo! The room was larger than average and had a washer/dryer in it so we could wash clothes during our two-week trip. Hotel could work on cleanliness. Hotel itself is dusty in certain areas, and I had issues with cleanliness in my room as well. Informed the hotel staff and it was resolved on the day itself, but how the cleaning was handled is also questionable. Would not stay here again.
Very conveniently located, room is tiny and has all that is necessarily needed.
Great location, only a 5-minute walk from Yotsuya subway station. The service was good, and the room was spacious enough. They don't clean every day, but you can request fresh towels whenever you need them. Overall, a very good stay.
The room was clean and quite spacious, but the bathroom didn't have a wet/dry separation.
The location was decently close to Shinjuku station, although I still had to take the train over it was only 1 station. I liked the in-room washer + dryer and the size of the room was decent. They do not have daily cleaning and it would be better if they gave more towels.
Good hotel with decent sized rooms which include kitchenette and washing machine. Great location close to subway/JR line station.

I've stayed at this hotel group's properties before, and this time I chose Ginza Shintomicho. The closest subway stations are Shintomicho and Tsukiji, making it very convenient to get around. The room was tiny, but that's Tokyo for you. The hotel is actually closer to the Keio Inokashira Line, but you have to pull your luggage up a steep hill. If you have a lot of bags, be mindful of that. Most people take the Yamanote Line to Shibuya, so you'll have a bit of a walk.

Location is within walking distance to subway. Is quite and clean. Loving this stay!
It was pretty nice. Really enjoyed my stay. Close to train station, very mild noise, nice staff. Would definitely recommend.
