There were, however, a couple of things that were inconvenient. The hotel doesn’t offer Yamato Transport delivery to the airport, only another service that requires a foreign credit card
The location is super convenient, with all three major convenience stores nearby. The only minor inconvenience is that the front desk is in the basement, so you have to carry your luggage down a few steps
Staffs are good but just few can speak English. Laundry must be on queue and didn’t know when it finish or some guests didn’t pick up their cloths on time but staff can help that.Everything’s perfect!!! Love this hotel
Excellent value for money and great location. As expected in Tokyo, the room is small. However, this hotel provides better amenities vs similarly-priced ones. You have more selection for toiletries and coffee / tea.
The room was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The breakfast tasted good, but it wasn't specified that each person could only order one item, which led to a small misunderstanding
We just booked 3 night at first and we planned to transfer to other hotel if the hotel is not good. Since we really loved the hotel and it's location we extend for another 3 days
The walls were thin, so I could hear voices from other rooms when I was in the hallway, but the room was clean and the food was delicious, so overall it was good.
Great location, with a convenience store right downstairs. You can catch the tram to Haneda Airport just a few steps from the entrance.
The hotel staff were quite friendly, and the housekeeping service was good. The breakfast bread was especially delicious.
Staff were great, room was clean, shuttle bus to the station is perfect. I’d definitely stay here again.
Self-check-in, complimentary breakfast, quiet and clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming.
Location cannot be better with 7-11 and Ichiran right beside the hotel, Mcd and many drug stores and eateries nearby within 5 mins walk. Personally I think is very suitable for family with elderly and young children
I found it a bit odd that the showerhead was next to the bathtub rather than above it. The hotel mainly caters to Western and Japanese guests, and there's a smoking room and free coffee on the third floor
The Ginza Line subway station, a 7-Eleven, and a drugstore are all conveniently located nearby. We stayed in a deluxe triple room, which was a decent size with enough space to open our luggage
The location is excellent, with a subway station right downstairs, and the commercial street and Senso-ji Temple all within close proximity, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient
Senso-ji Temple is just a short walk away, surrounded by a lively pedestrian street with plenty of options for food, drinks, entertainment, and fun. Plus, the beautiful Skytree is visible right outside the room window
This place offers incredible value for money, is close to the subway, and you can walk to Senso-ji Temple and the market in just two minutes. Super high value for money, highly recommend!

Common drugstores are plentiful near the hotel, many with Chinese-speaking staff. Major brand stores in Ginza are also conveniently clustered together, so you can easily find your preferred luxury items
Great stay in Tokyo! The staff were super helpful and very polite from check-in to checkout. Location is perfect — right in the center with easy access to trains, shops, and sights
However, after staying for over a week, the menu barely changed – it was pretty much the same every day. While there was a decent variety, it wasn't enough to get completely bored
This makes it super easy to get to major attractions, Tokyo Station, and the airport. The breakfast is quite distinctive, with lots of small dishes that look great for photos
The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's right in the Ginza shopping district with multiple subway lines just a few hundred meters' walk away
Nice hotel at Ginza. Good location. Clean room. Comfortable stay. I will back to stay at Musse Ginza again ❤️

From the moment I checked in at the front desk until I left the hotel by taxi, the staff were incredibly welcoming throughout my entire stay. They even helped me with my luggage into the taxi when it arrived
The lobby offers complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks available all day. The room was quite spacious, and the twin beds were large. The location is excellent, with easy access to airport transportation
Great location!
Amenities: The amenities are also very convenient. There's a water dispenser on every floor, and the room comes with a kettle so you can fill up. Cleanliness: It's quite clean
Absolutely loved this hotel! It was clean, tidy, and the service was excellent. The location was super convenient, and it even had a nice artistic vibe. The buffet was also quite good
While it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained. The only minor issue was a slight odor from the toilet. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo
Every level has tiny too room with books tinted an relax. The lobby library offers more books and reveals in the evening a comfi place to stay and read

For Japan, the room size is quite generous. It's close to the station, making travel convenient. You can walk to various restaurants and shops, and it's also easy to get to the city center.
Pros: Convenient location, just a five-minute walk from Shinagawa Station via a skybridge. The facilities are new, the rooms are spacious (for Japan), clean, and the service is excellent
Great hotel hidden in a building , nice view looking down to the shinagawa station and the Tokyo tower. Great choice for transportation . Friendly and professional service.
Awesome hotel that is literally right next to Shinagawa station. The lighting throughout the hotel and including the rooms themselves have a zen feel that is quite relaxing
Everything was great except for the slightly small room. I especially loved the design of the atrium and the entrance to the mall – it was very atmospheric and relaxing
This is our second times in the year staying at The Strings Shinagawa. Strongly recommended! Very convenient location for food and transportation.

The hotel is conveniently located with several subway lines right downstairs, making it easy to get anywhere. The rooms are spacious, and the view facing the Imperial Palace is quite expansive
Solid 5. The service was very great from check-in to check-out. I will stay again here!
p.s if you're using subway, exit C2a is just beside the hotel. Google maps navigated us to exit C2c which is on the of the road.
The room offered great views of the Imperial Palace and Mount Fuji 🗻, which was a nice touch. The executive lounge overlooked the stunning Tokyo night view 🌃
Really good service and take care for me
Very nice house keeper
Then I was impressed by the quality of the breakfast and the crispy sound of the cake. Return to the Imperial Palace in a high-end BMW. I was able to experience it with the standard plan. If not corona, then maybe double
It was good to have a view of the Imperial Palace. I also watched YouTube, but I was impressed by the locals many times. It's a pity that the photo does not convey it. I wonder if such a world exists

The breakfast is decent; if you're staying for multiple days, it's worth trying for one morning. The staff are professional, well-mannered, and friendly. As for the location, it's absolutely unbeatable
Even though the hotel is a bit old, the hygiene and overall maintenance are excellent, giving it a classic, traditional feel
European style hotel in heart of Ginza shopping district on quiet, clean, safe street. Walking distance to Tokyo station, or use station across the street. Last minute deal was under $100/night
Everything is perfect, except a little noise from the refrigerator😂. Great location in Ginza, near shopping area but quiet.
The hotel is situated on a relatively quiet side street in the heart of bustling Ginza. Ginza-Itchome subway station is directly opposite, and Ginza Station and Higashi-Ginza Station are also within easy walking distance
Ginza also provides a convenient airport limousine bus service to Narita Airport; for those who prefer to avoid the hassle of multiple subway transfers, this bus is an excellent choice, reaching Narita in just over an hour
Very good location. Near shopping area and many restaurants. Third time for stay here but this time the room quite not clean( lot of dust on the carpet in the room esp. corner area)
I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple times a year for the last 2-3 years. Location is great, rooms are a bit bigger than some I’ve stayed in in Japan, with a little bench in addition to the bed
There are also many drugstores, making it a great place to stay for shopping on the last day. Food sales events are held at the entrance and in the restaurant, which creates a lively atmosphere
The environment and facilities are good, and although the room is a bit small, the city view from the window is quite nice. It's not far from Shinjuku Gyoen, and there's a Muji store nearby
Excellent hotel. Walking distance to the train station and Shinjuku CBD. Clean room and good breakfast.Good size. Worth the price. Will book again for my next trip.
Hygiene: Sheets and bathrobes were changed daily. The breakfast was rich and varied. Great value for money, a good experience overall.

The hotel is very clean and in a great location, just a short walk from the train station. The room is small but well-equipped with everything I needed. They also offer complimentary welcome coffee, which was a nice touch.
The hotel is conveniently located near Kuramae Station, with an elevator at the A5 exit. There's a hot spring on the second floor; the front desk provides keys, so if a key is available, there should be an empty locker
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is very nice and near to Haneda (direct from Keikyu Line at airport) so its very convenient for us who travel with child and many luggage.
The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was incredibly small. The shower curtain in my room had a bit of an odor, but everything else was good
I didn't get to use it this time. Right across from the hotel is a small Aeon supermarket, and downstairs there's a cafe with reasonable prices
The location is ideal. They offer free coffee and tea, and the onsen is a great bonus! Excellent value for the price. I’ll definitely return!

However, the signage wasn't very clear; I followed a sign and mistakenly went up to the third floor (where I accidentally discovered a 24-hour FamilyMart) before realizing that the hotel is actually straight ahead at the end of the international arrivals hall, no need to go up or down elevators
After checking out, you can store your luggage at the lobby, grab a bite, and do some shopping at the airport. You can also exit directly from another hotel door to an outdoor taxi stand, which is very convenient
Arrived at Haneda T2 on a late flight, and after clearing customs and collecting checked luggage, it was already 11 PM. Not wanting any more hassle, Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu was the best choice
I had a nice experience at the hotel, although the food was a little bit expensive, but I can easily access to the convenience store on the first floor. The bathroom is very clean with a bathtub
Fantastic hotel if you have an early flight to within Japan as the hotel is located at the domestic side of Terminal 2. Highly recommended if you are traveling with ANA.
Apart from the slightly high price, there were no downsides. This time, I managed to book it at a lower price in advance and finally got to experience it!

Room is spacious for a family of 3! Location is great. A lot of cheap and good restaurant nearby. Staffs are so helpful and friendly. The room is a lil bit old but not a problem for us since they keep it clean
The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro East Exit. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of fresh, authentic Japanese dishes.
Really in a convenient location with the usual Family, 7-11 and Lawson marts within 1min walk. Room size is similar to many of the local hotels. local spread with some western usuals cooked in familiar Japanese style
The hotel is clean, very friendly receptionist (monolingual- but really attempts to help through Ai & Google Translate). However, when I booked here at Trip
I've stayed here many times, and it's always my first choice when I come to Tokyo. It's incredibly friendly for anime fans, very convenient for stores like Animate, K-BOOKS, and Comic Toranoana
This hotel is excellent! The location is superb, right in the heart of Ikebukuro. There are plenty of vending machines and convenience stores nearby, and it's surrounded by anime and manga shops

They moved mountains to ensure my comfort, demonstrating a level of dedication and proactive service that defines world-class hospitality. This is exactly the caliber of care I expect from a property of this standing
The room is clean and comfortable, and the staff are kind , helpful and careful. Check-in makes people feel very relaxed. It will be a return visit to the hotel
I was also surprised to find only two towels in the bathroom and toothpaste provided in a sachet, which looked rather unusual for a hotel of this level.
We did not try breakfast, as we unfortunately overslept
In particular, all the staff spoke English very well which made it easy for us international Travellers which is not always the case for hotels in Japan even among the international chain hotels here in Japan
From the beginning of check-in (take luggage) to check-in, housekeeping, the attitude of every service staff are absolutely amazing. The counter service staff and service are very good
Overall, the hotel is good, but it is clear that the property has not undergone renovation for quite some time, and the interior already feels noticeably outdated

10000 yen for 3 nights stay over the weekend on Jan 2026. There are a few nearby and this is probably the farest though cheapest one. Recommended as always as the layout of the room is quite standard and small
Just pick the cheapest one and you will still be fine
We accidentally left some of our belongings at checkout, and the team worked so efficiently to get everything back to us. Really appreciated their help. Would happily stay here again!
APA Nihombashi Bakurocho Ekimae was a great stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect, just a short walk to everything you need
If you’re over 175 cm tall, you might have trouble fitting in. However, the hotel does change the towels daily, and all the toiletries are free and of good quality. There are flip-flops, toothbrushes, napkins, and more
The breakfast place was very busy and only had few seats. I would recommend not getting the breakfast and going to the Denny’s nearby or other breakfast places depending on what time you’d like to eat your breakfast!

On the first floor, there are vending machines, a free coffee machine, hot and cold water dispensers, an ice maker, and plenty of charging outlets. They also offer free luggage storage
I almost always choose Toyoko Inn when I visit, and this one is very close to Senso-ji Temple with convenience stores all around. It's just a block's walk from Asakusabashi
I also got lucky and ended up in a room with a tower view, so I could see the Skytree right from my window! The front desk offers Chinese-speaking service, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the Asakusa Line, making it convenient for both Narita and Haneda airports
Hotel is close to Akihabara and Shinjuku. Check in was quick and front desk staff very friendly. Free coffee in the reception area the whole day. I stayed in this hotel branch in Hakodate and can recommend it to anyone
I booked this place to see a live show. It's quite convenient, about three stops from Tokyo Dome. The Asakusa Line also goes directly to Narita, though it's a bit slow. The room was very clean, which is important
Out of the four hotels I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one was my favorite. The room was clean and spacious enough to open three suitcases at once. The mattress and pillows had just the right firmness

It's a little far from Okachimachi Station, but within walking distance. The room is a typical business hotel. I was a little worried because the price was low, but I had no complaints
Even in the room, there was no noise from cars or trains, so there was no stress. The only complaint I had was that the hair dryer was fixed to the unit bath and difficult to use, so I borrowed one from the front desk
I needed an affordable hotel for one night, and this place is perfect for that. It’s very compact, as you’d expect from a Japanese hotel, but it actually has everything you need
There are vending machines and public telephones in the lobby. There are two elevators. Room wear is available in sizes M and L. Check-out is done by machine. It is a short walk from Naka-Okachimachi Station.
It’s probably not the best choice for longer stays, but it’s nice and affordable
Located 600 meters from Akihabara's anime district, the hotel has a tram stop and JR station downstairs, and a convenience store 100 meters away
The only downside was that they didn't even provide water at check-in. If I ever go back to Tokyo, I'd love to go there again. At check-out, only one of the two female staff members was not very friendly
We were trying to arrange a luggage forwarding service and the front desk staff was so friendly and patient with us even though we were probably asking silly questions. All in all would highly recommend
We had a very positive stay at Toyoko Inn Asakusa Kuramae No. As one of the newer Toyoko Inn buildings its got all the latest amenities - rainfall shower, shorter step to washroom, keycard control access to elevator, etc
I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the Japanese breakfast is delicious. It's near Kuramae Station, making it very convenient for traveling
The location is near metro, easily to get around in Tokyo. The room is not big, cannot open two big luggage at the same time. The staffs are very nice and helpful

Plenty of ramen shops around the hotel, a family mart, Lawson, and a huge pharmacy around the corner
I did not book this hotel with breakfast so I cannot comment. The staff at the reception were very helpful
Excellent facility with clean and spacious room. Nice and quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the centre. Accessible transportation very close by. Friendly and helpful service from all staff.
The hotel is in a good location, I walked twenty minutes with luggage to Tokyo station, for the Narita express. There is also a limousine bus which in only 5 minutes from the hotel
+ Relatively near to Ginza and Higashi-ginza Ginza station. Room is considered ok for 1 traveller but may be difficult to place 2 big luggages in the room…
The room itself I found a little small. TV has YouTube, a small refrigerator, a safe. Just need want to emphasize the hotel room is small
The Room is ok, not too big not too small. It has Bath tube, good to have bath. However front desk of the hotel
Is not helpful
The location is quite close to Shimbashi Station, but it's still a 5-6 minute walk. It's not particularly close to the center of Ginza; walking there takes about the same amount of time as taking public transportation
Great location, with a convenience store and plenty of food options downstairs. Don Quijote is right next door, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Ginza's main street. The subway station isn't far either
Very very strategic location for the hotel , nearby all the shopping and business needs
Well Japanese hotel standard , very small not even able to open luggage 🙈
Massage chair is a surprise and I love it
Service is very good, very clean
But the hotel have zero facilities so cannot do any exercise or any
However, it's very close to Don Quijote! Most of the good restaurants in this area are near the station, in Yurakucho and Shimbashi. The room is a bit small; we could barely open two suitcases
Facilities: Small but well-equipped, with a supermarket nearby for convenience.
Hygiene: Separate wet and dry areas.
Environment: Quiet and peaceful.
Service: Friendly and amiable.
The best part is the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the large bathtub. It was very comfortable to soak in it every day after coming back

The rooms are very small, but there are self-service bath salts, face masks, and skincare samples downstairs
The location is incredibly convenient for getting around. The subway station is just diagonally opposite, making it super easy to access any part of the city
Excellent hotel. Unbeatable value considering the location, service, cleanliness, amenities and price.
Perfect location and very good hotel
Perhaps because I visited during art week, the prices were exceptionally high, around $100 USD, which I didn't think was very worthwhile
Plus, there's a delicious eel restaurant right next door, and you'll find plenty of convenience stores in the vicinity
