HOTEL SUI AKASAKA byABEST, Tokyo1 / 25
8.6
Tokyo, 2-Chome-17-55 Akasaka, Minato-ku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Parking: Free parking
It’s a tight fit room but this is Tokyo but it’s clean. No laundry here but I booked knowing that. The Akasaka station is a 9min trek but feels longer with luggage going uphill
I used to always stay at Hotel MyStays next door and would often see many foreigners staying at this hotel. So, on this trip to Tokyo, I decided to give it a try. The experience was quite disappointing
The location is perfect, it's easy to access the top locations. The room was small but cosy, and the view -- breathtaking. The rooftop has beautiful overview. The staff was friendly and helpful
This place is great for the price. You need to set your expectations as the room is small, but you get a ton for that size. Great bathroom and comfortable bed. TV, blackout curtains, rooftop, lobby bar and friendly staff
Not far from the subway station, with 7-Eleven, Lawson, and many small eateries nearby, it's quite convenient. On the first floor, there's free coffee, tea, and cookies
The complimentary toiletries are comprehensive, even including hand cream, foot patches, and face masks. The room is spacious for Tokyo standards, and the bathroom is clean

I loved the themes and the amenities. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area. The LG STYLER, the smart pack, the luggage storage, the automation, the pajamas, slippers, and breakfast were awesome
The bus stop for the return trip from Maihama to the hotel is C6, located on the outer side of the bus island. The hotel is on the Tozai subway line, just a 5-minute walk from the station
The hotel is located in Nishi-Kasai. After taking the airport bus to Kasai, it's a 15-minute walk to the hotel. There's free self-service luggage storage available
The shuttle service from Tokyo Disney was a lifesaver. I had to change to another room. Upon entry, I noticed a strong odor but the second room was good
Nice ever ever stay in Tokyo area, near by any attraction and supermarket, just by walk going to station and more visit you can explore near by area
A hotel shuttle runs to Maihama Station in the morning and evening, making it convenient for Disney. Remember to queue early to get a boarding pass

Parking: Free parking
A perfect option for those who want to stay in the busy Shibuya area and get good rest in quiet. Very clean, comfy rooms, enough space for everything. Laundry/dryers, a kitchen on the 2nd floor for your convenience
Amenities are nice but i wish they provide body lotion as well since I came during winter and my body got dry because of the winter air. But all in all amazing service and clean rooms! Love it
Although the room is small, it's clean and the facilities are of high quality. If you're not looking for something overly luxurious, this is a very welcoming hotel with a great experience
This hotel offers a quiet retreat in the midst of the hustle and bustle, very close to Shibuya Crossing. You can easily access it via main roads or side streets
friendly staffs. helpful and well verse on the area. appreciate all the additional extension for check out
Plus, it's not far from Omotesando — you'll find yourself there after a pleasant stroll!

Henn na Hotel Tokyo Akasaka, Tokyo1 / 25Good price
8.8
Tokyo, 2 Chome-6-14 Akasaka, Minato Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Parking: Free parking
The location is pretty good for public transport, although Akasaka itself is bit low on tourist activities. What I like about this place is the gym which is pretty solid
We loved the location - so many places to eat right outside the door, supermarkets, kombinis and metro stops. The room was very clean and comfortable, fairly basic
It's clean and tidy, and the service is excellent. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the Ginza Line, and Akasaka Station is also nearby
Overall, it's not in a bustling area but still a very central residential neighborhood, making it a quiet and suitable place to stay
The breakfast is fine, would not pay for it myself but if it comes with the booking and costs few € extra, it is worth taking
It's more of a self-service type hotel, you need to collect supplies like PJs/hairbrush/toothbrush from the reception area yourself

Kichijoji Tokyu REI Hotel, Tokyo1 / 30

Tokyo, 1-6-3, Kichijojiminamicho (13 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Parking: Free parking
The hotel staff are generally helpful. Hotel is accessible to train station, bus interchange, eateries, local market, and malls. There is also a lovely neighborhood park with a lake nestled in Kichijoji
A very convenient hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Can be very busy but informal foyer with tea and coffee is a boon. Price high but inevitable given the location near rail station and wonderful park.
The facilities are sufficient, there are vending macines and coin laundry at each floor and a good comfortable space in the lobby to sit and have a coffee. Everything else I needed was nearby
Our family enjoyed exploring the small shophouses lined along small streets in the vicinity. Was surprised to stumble upon several thrift shops and 2nd hand electronic store
The room isn't big, but it's very clean. The biggest plus is the excellent location; it's right by the light rail station, making transportation super convenient
Average size room for Japan, staff efficient, very well located (worth noting that some rooms face the railway tracks, though sound insulation is pretty good)

Tokyo, 6 Chome-14-3 Ginza, Chuo Ward (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel has an excellent location, close to transportation and services. The room was clean, well maintained, and spacious compared to most hotels in Japan
The location is very convenient, I always choose this hotel whenever I'm in Tokyo. The gym is also good, and the breakfast is plentiful.
The stay was very comfortable, and I would definitely recommend it, especially for families and travelers
Excellent location. Overall exceeded my expectation and I will come back again.
Room is big have soace for luggage
The location truly is fantastic; you can walk to many places nearby. The downsides are that it's expensive and, apart from the gym, there aren't many other public facilities

Had afternoon tea at the restaurant on the 51st floor and it was amazing! The ambience, the view, the coffee (of which the quantity is incredible: I had a latte) were wonderful and the food was amazing
We overdid it with our shopping (as always!) and the hotel took care of shipping all the boxes home for us. Everything arrived within a week. It makes you smile everytime you think about it
Have stayed at Andaz Tokyo for multiple times since 2015. It is still my favorite hotel. This time everything was just perfect. Friendly staff, comfortable room and well thought design. Will definitely stay again soon.
The servers are very friendly and will explain each dish to you when they bring it. The price is understandably high, but the experience is worth every single yen (and I'm saying this despite being a student)
Excellent stay at the gorgeous Andaz. Room facing Tokyo Tower has spectacular views. So nice to be at a hotel that offers happy hour and canapés for free
Good service. The hotel is really nice and highly recommend stay once when you go travel or for celebration. The view is very beautiful.

Keio Presso Inn Ikebukuro, Tokyo1 / 21

Tokyo, 2-29-11 Minami-Ikebukuro (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Parking: Free parking
The hotel was beyond expectations. The room, although small, was well equipped, even had a table and two soft mini-sofas. The amenities are quite new, without signs of wear and tear
The receptionists were very welcoming and polite. The breakfast was excellent, with good variety and quality of dishes (especially, the chicken and meat)
The location deserves a special mention: a nice neighborhood close to the station with all the shops one might want to visit on a trip to Japan, a conbini is just next door. A lot of greenery in the area, too
On the bright side, luggage storage was easy, and there's a convenience store right downstairs
The room was very small, I could manage because I was out a lot, but there was barely space to open my luggage so that I could organise my stuff. Think about this before choosing your room type
This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro East Exit 35

Lots of food options near by and friendly staff! They are really good at helping us make reservations at restaurants and it is easy to text and coordinate via the Marriott app! Love the Marriott app
This is my second stay at the Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho, and I continue to be impressed. The location is compact yet very convenient, with easy access to many restaurants and shopping areas
The hotel itself sits slightly elevated, offering a nice atmosphere. Although the rooms are on the compact side, they’re actually quite spacious compared to many business hotels in Tokyo
The rates are also very reasonable, especially when compared with major brand hotels. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay
It’s also conveniently located—just a short express train ride to Ueno and easy access to Oshiage (Tokyo Skytree area). Getting to either Narita or Haneda Airport is simple and affordable (around ¥1,500 to Narita)
The surrounding streets are wide and pleasant for walking or jogging. In the mornings, I enjoy running from the hotel to the Skytree—it’s a great route!

It's directly across from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, which puts on a light show in the evenings. Our family of four (two adults, a 17-year-old, and a 10-year-old) booked a twin room with two 1
Huge room and bathroom, loved everything! Buffet breakfast on the ground floor is impressive, offering both Japanese and western breakfast :)
Location is really great with close proximity to Shinjuku station. Room was great and amenities were very nice. Also went up to the SkyTree on the 47th floor and were happily surprised that the drinks were complimentary
Perfect location to end our 9 days visit to Japan. The Hotel is close to Shinjuku station, if you find the exit :). The lounge on the 45 floor for Premier Plaza guest is amazing. Food and service is excellent
Premier Grand is worth the money and feels like proper 5 star service. Staff were really helpful and the 45th floor lounge was great for a drink before going out

Tokyo, 1-6-3, Marunouchi (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Coming directly from Tokyo Station, you can access the hotel's exclusive elevator via the Marunouchi underground passage, which saves you the hassle of crossing streets above ground
Spacious room and bathroom for one person. Great view of Tokyo Station and the trains coming and going. Quiet room but if you are bothered by train noises, you may want to request room on the Marunouchi side of the hotel
The room is very spacious considering the location. The hotel is conveniently connected to a train station with multiple lines, which makes traveling around the city very easy
Every day of my stay truly felt like coming home. It was a very warm and comfortable experience
The location is great, very convenient if you need to switch cities as it's easy to catch the Shinkansen from here. Plus, Ichibancho has tons of delicious food! It's also super close to Ginza, just one stop away.

Park Hyatt Tokyo, Tokyo1 / 30

Tokyo, 3-7-1-2 Nishi Shinjuku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Parking: Free parking
After the epidemic, hotel prices in Tokyo are really scary. I stayed here once before on a business trip. This time, I felt that the overall service quality was not as good as before
The breakfast is semi-buffet and a la carte, which is quite satisfactory. Room service only provides two bottles of mineral water every day
There are several staff in the restaurant who can speak Chinese, and communication is very convenient. Special praise to Sun Xiaoqi for helping to recover the jewelry. The club staff are also very gentle
The staff did not greet you when you met at the elevator entrance. I wonder if the hotel leadership is so arrogant. The so-called Japanese service is also worrisome. The reservation includes breakfast
Check out the same hotel in "Lost in Translation". It has been open for 30 years. It still has a full sense of design and warm and thoughtful Japanese service
The service can be said to be the ceiling of the industry, meticulous and thoughtful without leaving any trace. I stayed in the hotel for a long time

The room was small, and there was construction noise nearby starting early in the morning
The location is superb, right in the heart of Ginza as soon as you step out of the hotel. Everything else was pretty good, the only minor complaint I have is that the cleanliness could be improved.
Love the interior of the hotel. The vibrant colour found at each floor, the colour at the lobby lounge.   The area reserve for hotel guest at the lobby level is thoughtful and comfortable
The unique and very nice Japanese inspired design of the rooms felt modern yet welcoming, and I was more than glad to return to my homely room after exploring what Tokyo had to offer
Having been fortunate enough to travel more than most, I can wholeheartedly say that this was one of my best hotel experiences
Trying to convince me to accept the smaller room until I show them last few time the room I stay then only accept my request

Overall the hotel is located at a strategic spot. Great place for people who like to shop and hang out at Shibuya areas. Very convenient as it is surrounded by many malls and shops, easy to get good around
The lobby on the first floor offers complimentary toiletries, tea bags, and other items you can take. The front desk staff were warm and professional, which was excellent
Although there's a train line downstairs, the windows have sliding wooden panels specifically designed to block out noise, so it wasn't noisy at all
The hotel's location is right in the heart of Shibuya, close to the subway station, and there's a bus stop right outside, which is super convenient
Fantastic location just a cross road away from Shibuya Station , and a hop and skip away from Hachiko statue and Shibuya crossing

The location is super convenient, really close to Shinjuku-sanchome subway station. There's a Lawson just a few steps away, and you'll find Muji, Uniqlo, Isetan, and more nearby, making shopping a breeze
The hotel is located around a corner off a main road, about a 15-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. Be careful when walking to the entrance as there's no sidewalk
The room decor felt really nice, very new and clean. Plus, the TV had screen mirroring, which was a first for me in Japan! However, it's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station, about ten minutes or so.
I can view which washing machine is available from TV. However, the space of the hotel is quite limited. I have three luggages but I only can open 1 in once
The room isn't huge, but it's well laid out – I had no problem opening a large suitcase. The self-service check-in and check-out machines downstairs are a great feature, and the staff also speak English
This hotel aligns with my expectations for a typical Japanese city hotel. The room was small, barely leaving enough space to open a large suitcase, but it was clean and quiet

Quiet hotel and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The staff were professional and courteous to every question I had.
Great amenities for the price and located in a good location. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I chose this hotel for my two-day trip to Tokyo Disney. The hotel and rooms are spacious, and it's very convenient to get to Disney with their shuttle bus service. It's also just a 2-minute walk from Shin-Urayasu Station
The location is fantastic, right outside a subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. I'd give it five stars just for that. There's also an Aeon mall nearby, which is very affordable
The triple room we booked was very comfortable, with individual beds for each person and enough space to open our suitcases, which is quite large for Japan where space is at a premium
There are supermarkets and drugstores nearby, and plenty of dining options. Plus, there's a water dispenser right by the elevator, so you don't need to buy bottled water
Great location. Close to station and Aeon mall and Atre shops. Free shuttle to Disneyland and Disneysea. Good sized family room. Highly recommended
This hotel isn't far from Tokyo Disneyland and offers a shuttle bus, making it great value for money compared to other options

The staff were patient and helpful; I even encountered a male front desk agent who spoke Chinese, which made me decide to sign up for their membership card right away. The breakfast was basic but sufficient
Pajamas and some basic toiletries can be picked up near the front desk. The hotel also offers a very simple breakfast in the morning, so don't expect anything fancy. The hotel's location is quite convenient
Value for money, especially hotels during spring are generally more expensive. Toyoko's price during spring is affordable. The free breakfast is decent.
Considering I was checking out the next day, it felt a bit unnecessary, but I also understand the hotel's dedication to cleanliness. The location is not far from Ikebukuro Station, but there's no direct elevator access
My actual stay experience was pretty good. I encountered an auntie at the front desk who spoke Chinese, which was a relief because it was my first time in Japan and I was checking in alone, so I was a bit apprehensive
The surrounding area is incredibly convenient, with a Don Quijote not far away, a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven downstairs, and various Chinese restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms aren't huge, but they meet basic needs

Heard the people inn the hallway, and the wending machine. And the cars outside and people talking on the sidewalk. One day the room cleaner wasnt finished even by 17:00 and i had to wait another hour
Staff are very polite, building is not of the newer apa hotels BUT has bigger rooms. Service is very some days or you can request with the sign in the doors everyday they leave new towels and a few amenities
That's something I will always remember. Rooms get cleaned once every 4 days so you might end up with a lot of rubbish in your bins. Space in our room wasn't used the best as we had some empty and dead space
Shinjuku metro line is not far、like 3 blocks and you can be in akihabara or shinjuku very easily. Beds are fine, a little bigger thank usual apa too. And finally the bath is also bigger than usual
Ahh also they have a pizzeria in the same place which is amazing after coming back from day walk

New type of Toyoko Inn. Like the white sheets and new type of United bathroom. The staff of front desk and the cook ladies in the morning were very friendly and kind. Comparing to the price, it’s highly recommended
The location is very convenient, close to Prince Edward MTR station, and there's a simple breakfast available. The surrounding area also offers plenty of amenities.
The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch too but there are also two nearby bakeries if you want more options other than the onigiri and miso soup they provide
The location was really convenient - a short 5 minute walk from Oji station which has the Keihin Tohoku line making trips to Ueno, Tokyo and Ginza a breeze
