Tokyo, 2-2-6, Higashi-Gotanda, Shingawa-ku (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The large public bath is definitely a highlight of the hotel – it's incredibly relaxing after a long day. The breakfast, however, could use some improvement
The location is great, right near Gotanda Station. You just cross the skybridge to get there. However, it's not ideal if you have large luggage, as crossing the road can be a bit of a hassle
The room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, and the bed is comfortable. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere
The bathroom smelled like mold, there were several hairs throughout the room, it was dusty everywhere, and the worst part was that the bedsheets were stained and we asked room service to wash it but they didn’t
Thankfully the front desk is nice and they gave us a new room which was just as dirty but without the stained sheets. Breakfast is excellent though but not worth the gross room
There are plenty of food options nearby, giving it a good local vibe
Tokyo, 2-14-24. Minato-ku Higashi-Shimbashi (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent service, great accomodations. They even give you a phone with unlimited internet access and calling to use during your stay. Rooms were bigger than we expected. Everything was nice and clean
I booked the room with Tokyo Tower view, so this is the view from our room. The location is nice but a bit far from the station. There are many convenience store and supermarket around the hotel
Inside the room, there's a large sofa bed, perfect for extra luggage or belongings. You can easily fit two or three suitcases without feeling cramped. The view from the window in my room was also lovely
The location is great! We were within walking distance of 3 different train stations! The room was big, we had a couch which was nice. The front desk staff were welcoming, attentive and warm
The cleaning staff were very attentive, punctual and helpful - I hope they can get recognition for their efforts!
We had an amazing view of Tokyo Tower
The room is quite spacious for Tokyo standards; we could manage to open two large suitcases. The location is about an 8-10 minute walk from the subway station
Tokyo, 4 Chome-1-1 Toranomon, Minato Ward (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel has a great environment and an excellent location, making it convenient to get anywhere. The service is good, and the room is clean. It's definitely recommendable, and I'll stay here again next time.
The pagoda-view room I booked was absolutely breathtaking! The in-room dining was also delicious. I was completely satisfied with everything and would definitely come back again!
Facilities: Very new, I really like the minimalist style. Hygiene: Very clean, the bathtub was very comfortable for a soak. Environment: The environment is excellent
EDITION never let me down!! This is a trendy, very happening yet home-like stay for me as always — I was greeted upon check-in by a super friendly lady who’s very thoughtful and attentive (I recall her name starts with P?)
I booked this place specifically for the Tokyo Tower view 🗼. The King Room with a view was exceptional. Service: The service was great, and the deposit was only 3,000 JPY
Facilities: Well-equipped
Cleanliness: Spotless
I always stay at this hotel for business trips, so I'm very familiar with it. The facilities are comprehensive, and the transportation is convenient
Tokyo, 5-3-18 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Overall experience is good although the room is slightly small for 2 persons. About less than 10mins walk to Shinjuku town area.
The onsen is amazing with the entire Shinjuku view.
Highly recommended.
Great traditional Japanese hotel with a spa like feel. Everything about this hotel is awesome!
They cleaned our room everyday and replenished the towels too
Room was a good size for a Ryokan style hotel and the 18th floor onsen is beautiful with a great view over the city
The room is a bit smaller than my expectation.
The rooftop hot spring is great.
There was no water in the room and you had to fill up a water bottle from a dispenser on a different floor, waiting 10min for the lift to arrive The onsen was good and the staff were very very attentive, but unfortunately didn’t make up for how disappointing the room was
Tokyo, 1-8-1 Yuraku-cho (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Furthermore, the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with both Chinese and Western dishes available. The freshly made noodles and baked bread were particularly memorable. In summary, this stay was perfect
The room was also very spacious and luxurious, and the walk-in closet was a good size and very practical. The service was even more exceptional; from check-in to check-out, guests felt warmly welcomed
My friend misplaced her earrings upon check out and when we called the hotel, the housekeeping staff found the earrings and safe kept it for my friend. Excellent service! Will definitely recommend
The hotel's location is top-notch, with direct access to the Hibiya Line right downstairs and the Imperial Palace East Garden next door. It's incredibly convenient for exploring Ginza
What truly stands out is the hotel's excellent location – within walking distance to several popular attractions and shopping centers, making transportation incredibly convenient
I had reached out in advance as this was an important trip for our family, and the team – especially Ms. Kim – went above and beyond to help organise everything smoothly
Tokyo, 1-9-1 Higashi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The staff are super nice and the rooms are extremely neat, the hotel also has a easy transport system, with fast and efficient elevators that take you anywhere you need to go, there is also a pool as well as a bottom floor where you can easily order a taxi
We traveled to Nagano Prefecture for 2 days from Tokyo and returned to stay at the Conrad again. This time, we switched to a bay view suite. The room was still spacious, and having two bathrooms was very convenient
The view remained impeccable, and the housekeeping staff did a thorough and clean job. We needed packing tape, and they delivered two large rolls, which was a very thoughtful touch ❤️
The documents we needed printed were also handled very well. We have a small suggestion: could the bathtub be replaced with a deeper model? The current one is too shallow, and taller people can't fully enjoy it
Great hotel. Loved the service. It’s looks a little dated but still works for us. It’s a bit far from Ginza. Had to walk about 20 minutes in the cold
Dinner was delicious with a good variety of food options in the room. However, breakfast was very average. The room felt a bit old, not sure why, but the service was okay. The location was a bit hard to find
Tokyo, 4-7-15, Nihonbashihoncho (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Highly recommended! 😊
The best hotel in Tokyo!
Hotel Kazusaya is a wonderful place with incredibly kind staff, great facilities, and an excellent location. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well
I’m a Korean traveler who doesn’t speak Japanese very well, but the staff treated me so kindly, which I truly appreciated. The hotel is very clean and well maintained
Definitely a recommendation!! We had a wonderful time here
The breakfast and public bath are excellent
I loved my stay at this hotel! Very nice staff and very cozy rooms! Would visit again!
The location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from Shinagawa Station. The main thing is that the rooms are very spacious, with the basic room type being 46 square meters, which is quite rare to find in central Tokyo
Everything about the hotel was great. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station (JR Narita Express) with a large suitcase
Location was within walking dist of the Shinagawa train station. Hotel is more old styled, not upgraded with the modern usb plugs.
Service was impeccable, the restaurant staff remembers you and your coffee order.
Across the street from the Shinagawa train station (local Subways, bullet train, train to Narita airport ) makes this hotel an ideal location if you want to explore Tokyo. Large rooms and attentive staff.
However, this is the second time I've experienced an unexpected train delay on the Narita Express, and I almost missed my flight! I recommend not cutting it too close when booking train tickets
I stayed here with my friends for a luxurious 'hokansu' (hotel vacation). The bathroom was spacious, and having two large mirrors made it really convenient for us girls to get ready
Tokyo, 1-1-1 Marunouchi (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Very disappointing Spa facilities for ladies. Only a warm (38 °C) marble sauna. The male facilities have a proper dry sauna and jacuzzi
The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Tokyo Station, making it super convenient for getting around. The prices are usually very reasonable too
Easily my favourite hotel in Tokyo and in my top 3 globally! The views from the balcony are breathtaking, the staff are some of the best I’ve ever encountered and the breakfast is industry-standard setting in a continent that cares a great deal about breakfast!
We had a delightful stay at the Palace Hotel. The room is spotless and amenities are ample and good quality. We didnt dine at the hotel as we like to go to exploring and there are ample good quality restaurants closeby.
This hotel is an above average 5 star hotel in experience, facilities and most of all its people. Large hotel with large tasteful spaces and direct link to the Tokyo rail network by escalator within the hotel
Lovely hotel with top notch service. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Selection of Japanese food at the breakfast buffet could be better. We would stay in the hotel again.
The location is incredibly convenient, right across from Tokyo Station, making it perfect for a layover in Tokyo. A pleasant surprise was the free happy hour, offering alcoholic drinks, ice cream, and soft drinks
Ladies have access to a complimentary public bath on the third floor. Additionally, on the first floor, complimentary free-flow cocktails and ice cream are available until 9 PM
So, I ended up taking the JR train directly from the airport to Tokyo Station instead. The journey cost 3070 JPY, took less than an hour, and had frequent services
The hotel provides a comprehensive array of toiletries, including skincare products, face masks, and razors, and guests can also choose their preferred pillow
Upon arriving at Narita Airport, I had planned to take a bus, but struggled to find where to purchase a transport card (as suggested by an online guide)
Very good service and polite personnel. only downside was windows had no sunlight coming in. impossible to know id it’s morning or dusk
Tokyo, 2 Chome-10-8 Sekiguchi, Bunkyo, 112-8680 Tokio, Yaponiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The garden views are stunning, with mist released at various times, creating a dreamlike 'sea of clouds' effect. The rooms are spacious, combining European classical style with subtle Japanese aesthetic details
Staying at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, which blends a century-old Japanese garden with lavish decor, was an experience of a unique 'urban oasis' environment, exceptional service, and rich culture
Since we had an early morning flight on our second day, only one restaurant was open for breakfast, and the selection was quite limited
However, there were only two restaurants available without a reservation, and the à la carte options were limited and a bit pricey
The most undervalued 5 star hotel in Tokyo. It has everything youd expect from a 5 star and service is impeccable
The only downside is the less-than-ideal transportation convenience
Tokyo, Asakusabashi 2-29-14 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's only one subway stop from Senso-ji Temple, making it perfect for an early morning stroll there, or heading the other direction to Ueno Park. This hotel is an excellent choice
The hotel was great! It's close to the subway, and the cleanliness was excellent. The room was a bit small, but that's pretty standard for hotels in Japan 😂
The location is fantastic, quite close to Senso-ji Temple and Akihabara. Plus, there's a hot spring, which is a great bonus!
The room was clean and the hotel is very close to the subway station with several convenience stores nearby
There's also a hot spring bath on the upper floors, which is a huge plus, especially for business travelers – it completely washes away the day's fatigue
The room was larger than expected, with enough space to fully open a 28-inch suitcase, and the layout was well-proportioned. Plus, it has a large public bath, which is a great option for those who enjoy soaking
Tokyo, 2-10-3 Nagata-cho, Chiyoda-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My husband and I were very happy with the room layout and the overall service. We even received pastries and small gifts for our New Year's Day check-in. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Tokyo.
On a delightful side note, the ambient fragrance used in The Capitol Hotel Tokyu's corridors is utterly captivating – I highly recommend making it available for purchase at the hotel's souvenir shop! I will absolutely be rebooking here for my next trip to Tokyo
As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station
No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy
The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all
I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them
Tokyo, 1-2 Kioicho, Tiyoda, 102-8585 Tokio, Yaponiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
A stay at The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, a Luxury Collection Hotel is an exercise in elevated luxury, offering a sophisticated sanctuary high above the bustling streets of Tokyo
From the seamless service to the thoughtfully designed spaces, it stands out as a premier choice for travelers seeking both comfort and style
• Exceptional Accommodations: The rooms are the epitome of luxury—spacious, impeccably clean, and designed for ultimate relaxation
The beds are a particular highlight, providing an incredibly restful sleep experience that rivals some of the best in the world
Otherwise, the room & view was nice and service was great. The breakfast in the restaurant was just okay. The food you order isn’t really that fresh, and the buffet items were lukewarm at best
We had to inspect the plates and cups at the buffet line because there were multiple instances where there were dirty dishes and sticky cups there
Tokyo, 1-2-6 Shimbashi, Minato (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
After more than six hours on the road from snowy Ginzan Onsen, arriving back in Tokyo and checking into Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo felt like returning to comfort and familiarity
Being close to Shimbashi Station makes it easy to get around Tokyo, whether by JR lines or the subway. There are also plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby, which adds to the overall ease of staying here
This hotel is super conveniently located between Shimbashi and Yurakucho, with tons of food options nearby. Ginza is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven right across the street
This is a very good hotel in the center of Tokyo, close to Shinbashi Station and the Shinbashi entertainment area. The hotel has full service and at a reasonable cost
Great location, directly connected to Shimbashi Station via an underground passage. The facilities are excellent, and the service quality is superb. It feels like it was once a truly top-notch hotel
This is my third year in a row staying there and I will be back next year too. The hotel team are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel
Tokyo, Tokyo Midtown, 9-7-1 Akasaka, Minato-ku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Centrally located in Roppongi, with a high-end Midtown shopping mall right downstairs. This area sees fewer tourists compared to Ginza and is popular among local affluent residents, with a well-developed dining scene
I stayed here with my family of three at the end of the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had dinner and breakfast in the room-in-dining area. It was very delicious and satisfying
Luxury and quite expensive hotel, large and comfortable room with a wonderful view of the city landscape; maybe you'd expect for that price a better breakfast buffet.
The room was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. We were able to swim and relax at our leisure. There was a jacuzzi by the pool which was very comfortable
Atop Tokyo Midtown is the epitome of luxury, the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo. The lobby waits on the 45th floor with a spacious lounge area for tea or an evening drink
The bar off to the left from the entrance is intimate yet open and feels every bit of the class and grandeur you expect from a Ritz property
Tokyo, 1-2-11 Shinonome, Koto-ku (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
No apologies for the mistake first, but in the end it accepted its mistake and found out what the reason is
I asked the front desk to receive the birthday flower instead of me to deliver to my friend who stayed here
The transportation is quite convenient; there's a bus stop right outside, and the tram station is about a 7-8 minute walk away. There's also a 7-Eleven and an Aeon supermarket nearby.
The location is quite far from tokyo centre. So you might need to travel quite far using the metro. The closest metro station is toyosu station which one of the exit heading to the hotel is around a 10min walk
There's a 7/11 next to the hotel. AEON mall infront of the hotel. It's quite small like the rest of tokyo room but it is clean and facilities are brand new
While the train station is a bit of a walk there is a bus stop directly at the doorstep of the hotel which we used as our primary mode of transport
We stayed at Hotel Monday Premium Toyosu for 3 nights. Overall, the location was convenient, with the train station about a 10-minute walk away
Very interesting stay at Anshin Oyado Shinjuku capsule hotel. I really enjoyed the complementary food and beverages during my stay. I have always wanted to stay at a capsule hotel and this place did not disappoint
The pods were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers with an adventurous bone
They offer complimentary breakfast, curry rice for dinner, ramen, and all-you-can-drink alcohol, coffee, and other beverages. Of course, the food at outside restaurants is more varied and tastier
Best place for Solo travellers, even with friends. I am extremely grateful to have experienced the public bath and artificial hot spring that made me feel in love more into Japan’s culture
Love this place - my go-to in Tokyo. Love the atmosphere and the provisions. Has good laundry facilities, and the location is excellent for access to Shinjuku station, shopping, and bars
This hotel was mostly satisfactory, even though it was a bit pricier than similar accommodations, likely due to its prime location right off a bustling street in Shinjuku
The only downside is the very bright lights from the sporting fields near by. The outdoor bath is great after a long day. There is a free shuttle bus to the Disney resort. The drivers are helpful and friendly
We have stayed at Spa&Hotel a couple of times now and have enjoyed every visit. The staff are friendly and greet us as we arrive. Check in and out is quick and simple
We always stay in the Japanese style room with outdoor bath. The room is a good size with tatami mats and futon beds. The views are great as you can see the fireworks at Disney
It seems the pricier main building might not even be as well-equipped as this one. My family was a bit puzzled by that!
We haven't eaten in the hotel before so I can't comment on the food
A popular accommodation with the locals, getting there via shuttle bus is confusing as there are annex and the main building. Waited 35mins in the line for the check in,check out is approx 20mins wait
Tokyo, Marunouchi Trust Tower Main (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
There is a nice department store with wide selection of food and drinks so you can buy them and enjoy in your room. Gym and swimming pool are also very nice, but due to the covid you need to make reservation to work out
Please continue to make your customers feel comfortable and valued. The phone operator (Yamagishi san) performed her duties very well. We felt like all our requests were addressed fully every time we called them
Large rooms, super comfortable bed, refreshing rain shower from the top. Butler service attentive and quick to respond. Nice scent throughout the lobby. Room service menus are surprisingly reasonable and delicious
Excellent service and care. The quality of the room is second to none. Located right next to Tokyo Station super convenient. Lots of great food in and around the station. Love our stay there.
The evening cocktail was great but afternoon tea was so-so. Room service was excellent, and all of the staff we encountered were polite, accommodating, and friendly
Also the television dubs the only English news (BBC) in Japanese and I could not for the life of me work out how to stop it. I could have asked but it was late. probably could have been fixed so my fault
