If you want save money and can allow noise from neighbor, that's good hotel to you. Cheap price , good onsen, anyway near from station(less than 5 minutes)
Remember you must get noises from your neighbours
Room was clean, shared bathroom was clean although another guest had been using the cubicle as a smoke room. Room was basic but comfortable and not overly noisy. Communual bath was clean, large and relaxing
Location is very close to the station, however it is sitwd within the adult area
Very nice and good big bath room. Enjoyed stay and so good sleep.

You occasionally get a rude or rowdy guest as expected with a guest house but the hosts are quick to get them under control which is appreciated🩷
I highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy guest house with a great location 😊
I would have to say that my stay this place was very good. Tom was a great host and glad to had stay in this hotel. The service is awesome always felt welcomed. I like the home stay kind of feeling when I walk in
Couldn't love this place anymore, the owners live on site and are are incredible business people and very friendly. If you're looking for the Ritz-Carlton experience or aesthetics, this is not it
Only one thing that troubled me a little during my stay was that the showers in 3rd floor spray water as if they didnt want to, and you have to wait a long time to get optimal temperature
I have stayed here for two seperate long trips and love it 👍 absolutely fantastic location and price. The hosts are both super lovely and I have had many good chats with other guests
It was really nice being with them.
I was kinda skeptical at first because of the reviews but they were far better than what i expected. Definitely would visit them again. 10/10
Tokyo, Mejiro 3-2-9 Muramatsu Building 2F (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The location was great, being close to Mejiro Station with a convenience store nearby. I was a bit surprised to find the key code for same-day bookings taped outside the door with my name, but everything went smoothly
This key is for the building itself, not your room, so if you forget it, you might be locked out. It's a good idea to take a picture of it or make sure you remember the code when you go out
This place is very cozy and clean! The staff wasn't there to show us around but we figured it out just fine and they were very nice when we did see them and over email as well
3000 for one night and free wifi and free locker and free bathroom? free shampoo? on top of that, almost every part of the hotel is clean as hell? such a steal
Best Capsule hotel ever..from.others
.cheap easy access near to station family mart..friendly staff
Amazing experience, close to Mejiro Station.
Clean and quiet, organised and comfortable!

Concerning the men's baths and sauna. They are very great for the price of this place. The sauna is spacious and there are 3 baths, a hot one, a bubbly hot one, and a really cold one
Concerning luggage, it seems if you have a duffle sized bag, you can fit it in the locker on the lobby floor, but if you have huge travel luggage, it seems they have a shelf for it within eye shot of the front desk guys, but that's all the security you're gonna get, I suppose, but those are just my visual observations on the big bags situation
During the booking process, it was stated that luggage storage was available, but after booking I was informed that storage is not possible after check-out (I couldn’t cancel anymore)
Basic capsule hotel. Clean and staff is friendly. Sauna type bath for men, no private showers.
However, it would be better if this restriction were communicated clearly before booking, as I specifically was looking for an accommodation where luggage storage was available
I had a very pleasant experience overall. The capsule bed was clean and comfortable, and essentials such as towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, and pyjamas were provided

Good enough I booked a second night! To add to my previous review. Checkout it 2pm. Great! Its a quiet calm place, guests are all very respectful of the quiet atmosphere
Tokyo, 1-11-2 Kamiogi, Suginami-ku (10 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Great capsule hotel for solo travelers. Convenient location from the red line Marunouchi line and from JR lines. Breakfasts, unlimited drinks, sauna and onsen are included
What truly impressed me were the amenities: free alcohol, free late-night snacks, free drinks, and a breakfast menu that included miso soup, popcorn, and so many other options! And the astonishing 12:00 PM check-out time was a huge bonus! I'm definitely coming back here again
The lockers were spacious, the bath was nice, and the bathroom amenities were also very easy to use. They had ramen and curry for breakfast and dinner, which was nice. The popcorn was also good with the alcohol
I heard that starting March 4, 2026, it will become women-only. It's a shame that men won't be able to stay here anymore, but next time I visit, I'll definitely check out the Shinjuku branch
I already dream of coming back here. I don’t think you could get any more a positive experience from a capsule hotel. This will be my home base in future Tokyo trips!
It was only a few stops from Shinjuku and very close to the station, which sealed the deal. True to its name, it's a women-only hotel, which made me feel very safe
Tokyo, 2-12-3 Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This is an artificial bath that uses hot spring travertine from the Futamata Radium Hot Spring in Oshamanbe, Hokkaido, so I went there just to enjoy the artificial hot spring without using the sauna
The sauna and spa are on the first basement floor. I was worried that it would be humid because it's underground, but the changing room was dry and not uncomfortable at all
Since everyone was mainly using the sauna, the artificial hot spring bath was not crowded. There is also a rare rock bath. It's not hot enough to make you sweat a lot
It's a great environment where sweat disappears quickly. Hot water is poured into the bathtub through a device packed with finely crushed travertine. Seeing this makes me feel like I'm in the Futamata Radium Hot Spring
Other than that, there are people who haven't set the alarm clock of their smartphone to silent mode, and people who make a snooze sound many times at the end of the phrase, so it's noisy anyway
I tried the cycle of artificial hot spring → rock bath → artificial hot spring, and it took away my body's fatigue and made me feel refreshed. I think I'll get addicted to this
Tokyo, 3363 Yushima, Tokio, Ofunato-Shi, Japan (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
There is also a nice bathhouse with a sauna and hot bath. All of these seems to be typical for this kind of hostels
The guests have to leave their shoes in a locker at the entrance, also everyone is provided with a pyjama-like suit (I think it is called yukata), but it is not mandatory to wear it, although it is in fact more comfortable to wear it rather than one's outdoor clothes
It's a decent male capsule hotel. Most of the customers are locals. It has a common sento/sauna area and also has washing/drying machine. Also allows people with tattoo
Good place Good vibe best in hostel @Tokyo See you next trip.
Nice place, it's right next to a metro station, also close to Ueno and like a 15 mintues walk to Akihabara
Convenient hotel near Yushima station. The check-in time is from 3pm and check-out should be before 10am if you don’t want to be charged extra hour fee (even 1min late)

Sauna is good, and here is clean , close the station. First you need to know, here can't take food get inside. (if have chance please try restaurant on 4f, I think isn’t bad. And food of 2f now isn’t available
Really good experience for the price.
Perfect if you miss your last train.
3300 yen for capsule+sento/sauna
Plus the staff is friendly and one speaks fluent English.
It was nice that there was a bath, sauna, and laundry available
The large bathhouse and sauna were very comfortable. The location is very close to the JR Yamanote Line station. Excellent geographical location.
The only downside is that the capsule is a bit hot inside.
A very good hotel, convenient for travel, good service, and high cost performance. Good quality and low price, recommended for traveling to Tokyo.
If you have large luggage, you need to use a coin locker. There are many rules for check-in. The hotel is relatively strict in its management. There are many restaurants around
Its a simple hostel. The good thing is they have a sento which you can use from 3:30am until 1:30am. The bed is fairly comfortable. Staffs are good mannered.
Very convenient location which in the heart of UENO, easy to reach any sightseeing, foods and souvenirs
well located and generally clean, except for you, but well I think it must be difficult to keep clean with the number of people. there are not enough toilets for all the people
Negative point: all the lockers are located in one room, there is a lot of traffic in a room and some guests allow themselves to talk loudly while others are asleep
The location is extremely convenient. However, there are a few steps to the lift and if you lives on the 5/F, the only way to go up is stairs.
Location was great but little smoky despite saying it was non smoking hotel Resting area lounge chairs next to room was a smoking area
I liked everything about the hotel, from location to fantastic service by staff members, atmosphere during the day and evenings, the cleanliness and more. I do recommend this property a lot
While the location is relaxed, this hostel is decent, but overhyped. The dorm style beds are less soundproof than comparable places as there is a curtain in the front and back
It was really clean, like a new building, and the private space was cozy. The bathroom and toilet were also very clean, and it wasn't crowded, so I was able to rest comfortably! The location was also very convenient.
It had been quite a while since I last stayed in a unisex dormitory, so I was a little worried, but it was very clean. There were a lot of foreign guests, so it felt like I was in a foreign country, which was nice
It was a very small section that if you are claustrophobic, it may get to you. Keeping my stuff was a tight fit but I was backpacking, so it really did not bother me too much
My first tokyo solo trip and wanted a convenient spot to travel within the city. On a website recommending great spots, this was my choice and I am so glad I went with it
Tokyo, 1-28-3, NISHIKOIWA, EDOGAWA-KU, TOKYO, 133-0057, JAPAN, Edogava (14 km from centre) 🧭 Map
In addition, since it is a sauna used by Koiwa locals, there are quite a few customers who do not follow the general manners, but the coldness of the cold water bath will sink into your bones (depending on the day and time of day, you may feel lukewarm
Onsen is well equipped, with a Sauna, shower space and hot tubs. 2 towels and a pair of pajamas is provided daily, along with free razors and toothbrushes in their designated areas
There are still many old capsule saunas in the Chiba area of the Sobu Line
I visited Tokyo for a week from New York and l stayed whole week in this spa and capsule hotel. I heard about the capsule hotels in Japan and wanted to try it. Viola! It was way more than I expected of
The price is another surprise; its around $32 US which include sleep in capsule and 24 hour use of spa. It's located 3 minute walking distance from subway station so you can travel any where in Japan
Spa is old but immaculately clean and well maintained. All the amenities are there for your hygiene. Staff are exceptionally kind and helpful and that is known when you visit Japan
Tokyo, 1 Chome-11-2 Kaigan, Minato, 105-0022 Tokio, Yaponiya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We had a pleasant stay! The rooms and lobby are spacious and luxurious. The hotel is well kept and cleaned regularly. A highlight is the onsen, with a nice hot tub, cold tub, and sauna
It is also equipped with a jacuzzi and sauna, so you can spend a wonderful time with the magnificent view of Tokyo. But You have to change two elevators to reach the bath from Your room
Transportation is also convenient, and the Seagull U Line is right at the door. There is a supermarket across the street downstairs. The hotel also provides hot springs, and the staff has a good service attitude
The service is only 4/5 because the employees had a little trouble with English however they did their best to make us feel at home. The hotel is close to the train station and some nice restaurants
I stayed at this hotel before taking a jet ship to the Izu Islands. The main bath was excellent, and the breakfast was so good I wished I could take some of the dishes with me for lunch and dinner
The room has a view of Tokyo Tower. Separation of wet and dry areas. You can see the Tokyo Skytree downstairs, and it is very convenient to take a boat tour. Several boats are boarded downstairs
Tokyo, 1 Chome−2−13 Shintomi, Chuo Ward (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This is an international chain hotel, and you see a lot of Westerners here. The room is quite small, with tatami mats throughout, and I appreciated the foot massage machine. There's also a public bath on the top floor
com voucher, and the fact that there's no weekend surcharge makes it an amazing deal for a Tokyo hotel. If you were paying full price on a weekday, the value for money would be a bit lower
It would be great if this was noted on the product page. Luckily, I brought my own, so it wasn't a big deal. For two adults and one child, we only received two sets of toiletries
Happy we picked this lcoation! Very close to the shopping area and close to everything. We had a wonderful time indeed! Highly recommended and will come again!
The hotel exceeded my expectations. I'm usually not one to write reviews unless an experience is exceptionally bad or incredibly good, in which case I feel compelled to express my gratitude
The room was quite small, but it had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get to Ginza
Tokyo, 6 Chome-7-22 Ueno, Tayto, 110-0005 Tokio, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Also, maybe most of the customers are foreigner, the percentage of public bath enjoyer looks pretty small
The location is good located at the downtown of Ueno w convenience stores, pharmacy & many restaurants nearby, 10-min walk to Keisei Ueno station for Skyliner & 5-min walk to JR御徒町站 where u can take Yamanote line to Shinjuku, Tokyo, Ginza and Ikebukuro
It’s always great to stop by at Dormy Inn Ueno, they have good service, kind staff and very good facilities.
Thank you, as always!
I do appreciate the onsen facility & friendly staff speaking good english but i won’t recommend this hotel cuz: 1) no cleaning for consecutive night staying, u have to pay ¥1,500 extra/ night for that which is the first time I ever heard of such charge in Japan
As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later
The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park. However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an "inspection" but didn't specify why
Tokyo, 6-chome-8-20 Ueno, Tayto, 110-0005 Tokio, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
You had everything you could need including spare hair brushes in the bathroom. The capsule didn't feel at all claustrophobic to me and everyone in the dorm was very quiet and respectful
No English was spoken at the front desk, but they were expert at using Google translate, so it was all very easy. I would definitely recommend it for an authentic Japanese experience
I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely stay again for the odd night for extremely cheap accommodation. It was unlike anywhere I have ever stayed before
The price also included food (Curry, rice, noodles) and hot and cold (soft) drinks and if you can read Japanese a whole library of Manga books
I recommend confirming with the staff for a lower bunk when you check in, as the upper bunk capsules can be a bit challenging to climb into
On the second floor, you'll find a wide variety of manga, magazines, newspapers, and novels, plus complimentary curry is also served. Upon check-in, you'll receive a drink voucher that can be redeemed on the second floor
