Great hotel in an excellent location. Buses and trams just outside the door. Halfway between peace park and train station. Coffee shop inside the foyer and onsen in the hotel. Overall I would highly recommend it
Great location, friendly counter service as they tried their best to assist in booking our ferry to kumamoto. Public bath house is awesome!
The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a rich choice of food to suit different tastes
The location is also very convenient, with a bus stop and Family Mart just outside the hotel, which made getting around and picking up daily necessities very easy
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and always helpful, making the experience comfortable from check-in to check-out
I especially appreciated the onsen facilities, which were clean, relaxing, and a highlight of my stay
they give me the wrong room but correct it once i point out. other than this, all good
Nice room which is quite generous in size compared to a standard Japanese business hotel. Only a bit on the dark side, so could use with better or brighter lighting
Good location, friendly staff, free self service coffee at front desk
There is a coffee machine in the lobby for guest use (free). The best parts of this hotel are the friendly and helpful staff and the size of the rooms
We got a room change because our original room had an insect, the staff was quick and nice about it. Room style is quite old school as it is an old building. There’s also a kumamon mascot that greets u at the lobby :)
Location is close to kumamoto station, you only need to take the tram for 1 stop. Alternatively, there is also a paid shuttl bus by the hotel that takes u around
Location is quite as it is around 8mins from Hakata station, still, you will easily find convenient stores, coffee and restaurants within walking distance. Complimentary coffee at the reception is good to start the day
Good, a pleasant experience, very good. Good, a pleasant experience, good as always. Good, pretty good. Good.
The location is incredibly convenient; you can walk to several major shrines and shopping areas. The hotel also granted a late check-out, and the room facilities were great
Although small, it had everything we needed, offering excellent value for money
There are some yellow stain along the grout of the bathtub. Room 301 and maybe rooms beside the lifts will hear the lift working in the silence of the night. Bathroom is good size.
Next to nice restaurants and shrine.
A good 10 min walk to JR station. Hotel located in the business district with convenience stores around it. There are many ramen stores, izakayas with good reviews. Room is small but clean with all you need
The service at check-in was disappointing. I had a good impression of the Dukes Hotel at Hakata Station because the staff were very kind and polite.
Breakfast is available at the hotel, but we did not use it this time. The location is very good for visiting Nakasu. There are two parking lots near the hotel, and it costs 1500 yen per night
We appreciate your courteous assistance with inquiries about parking, etc.
The classic atmosphere was very pleasing to our companions.
We would like to use your services again.
The staff are very kind. I liked the shampoo and other amenities because they had a nice scent! It's undeniable that the facilities are old, but that aside, it's a good hotel!
The hotel is close to Kawabata Shopping Street and there are 5 food stalls next to it. The view from the rooms is not so good because of the neighboring buildings
Afternoon tea starts at 3 PM and I thought it was quite good, offering local alcohol, three flavors of local brown sugar, and other beverages, ending at 6 PM
It's also convenient for visiting Kokusai Street, Naminoue Shrine, and other attractions. Overall, it was a good stay experience
very good hotel and worth to stay . very convenience and near monorail station. good facilities, at least enough for normal guest requests. price is not high and highly recommend this hotel to others.
The hotel has a good location; there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven on the first floor if you go through to the street level, and you can access the monorail and a mall from the second floor
A normal hotel for staying and traveling, so far so good. Will consider t0cstay again next time.
Especially, there are two open-air hot springs, Onsen, in this hotel, so it is a good place for hot spring lovers
Is a very good place for family stay. Kids friendly!!!
Very nice resort in the Kirishima mountains. Nice big rooms with a nice balcony. Free shoju is provided in the lobby nightly. Lots of toys and activities for families and kids
It's a revamped hotel with new facilities! The tidiness and clean impressed me! The breakfast and dinner buffet were in good quality as well especially the beef. Highly recommend!
This place is known that Ryoma Sakamoto, one of leaders of Japan's modernization, came to visit on a honeymoon nearby. Kirishima and Maruo Onsen are good
By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue
Free bathing salts, tooth brushes, razors, combs are also available in the lobby, you can grab what you need. The hotel is about a 10‑minute walk from Hakata Station, and there are both a Lawson and a FamilyMart nearby
nice experience, the room is more spacious than I expected with plenty of room to fully open my suitcase. They provide towel changing service everyday which is very convenient and hygienic
Everything is good. Need a short walk from hakata station, not recommend for summer
Stayed here for a quick trip and the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Hakata Station. It made catching the Shinkansen and exploring the city incredibly easy. The rooms are compact but modern and very clean
Excellent location, pretty close to the massive Hakata Station with lots of shops & eateries.
Everything is good. Only the area of the room is small!
Kyushu, Miyazaki, 4-1-27,Tachibana Street West 🧭 Map
Everything was perfect, good breakfast selection. Will come again!
A typical Japanese business hotel: impeccably clean, excellent service, well-equipped facilities, free public bath with a hot spring atmosphere, and a generous breakfast. I would definitely stay here again next time.
I was hoping for a nicer bath floor. It doesn’t offer allot but the price for sleeping is good and the breakfast was great!
It was clean, centrally located, and the accommodation was good. The breakfast was average. The staff were very friendly. I think it's a good hotel for solo travelers or couples.
It was close to the bus stop and the downtown area, and within walking distance of Miyazaki Station. It was also nice that it had a large public bath. I would like to use it again.
Very clean hostel
Convenient location with bus stops in three directions
Easy to catch a bus
Don Quixote is right next door
Great for shopping
Overall is good, but it’s a bit far from Miyazaki sta. like 10-12 mins walk.
The sanitary plastic bag at my room seems used, I think the hotel needs to change it, room 520.
Bit small, but pricing is reasonable. Parking is not free but convenient. Good location close to stations and shops.
Kind services with reasonable price. Good variety of breakfast.
This hotel provides good breakfast, we enjoy it a lot. Other than that, i don’t quite like it, but the price is reasonable so still acceptable
This is a nice hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is quite nice with a lot of choice. The room is of quite decent size. The rooms are also quite clean.
The room was clean and tidy. The amenities were plentiful and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Everything was perfect. I will definitely stay here again.
Good business hotel. Views of the harbour and Sakurajima. Restaurant connected to the hotel was a lovely surprise - great food and good service. Easy parking
At southern part of Kagoshima city, it's a bit far from downtown. But the adjacent Marine restaurant Compira Maru is very nice. Fresh sashimi and sushis of various marine delicacies are available at reasonable price.
[Cleanliness]
The same level as a general business hotel, neither good nor bad. [Service]
Nothing worth mentioning. For some reason, you have to bring the necessary number of toothbrushes, razors, combs, etc
An economical way to get there is to use the city bus, but it is also far from the nearest stop (Omido), and you have to walk about 1km after that, so the location is not good in that sense
The room was spacious enough and relatively comfortable
The reception was working 24 hours but they hardly spoke any English but we got by just fine on our phones
There’s free coffee in the lobby and free lounge wear.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was the location and the washlet. It was about a 40-minute walk from the nearest station, so it was inconvenient for people without cars
I can't show photos since photography isn't allowed. The breakfast spread is also excellent, and the staff are all very polite. The hotel also sells amenities from the Glimmer hotel line
Popular attractions like Tenjin shopping street and Ohori Park are within walking distance. The staff's service attitude was very good. The hotel's breakfast is primarily Japanese, but the Western pastries are also great
If you're coming from Fukuoka Airport by public transport, you'll need to take the shuttle bus from the international terminal to the domestic terminal, then switch to the Kuko Line subway to Hakata, and finally transfer to the Nanakuma Line (green line) to Tenjin-Minami
Excellent stay! The environment, hygiene, and breakfast were all superb. I especially enjoyed the hot springs; they were incredibly relaxing. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka
The room was well-proportioned and practical, with a sensible furniture layout. The hotel's location is excellent, only 300 meters from Tenjin subway station Exit 12b
Surrounded by Koreans, the hotel boasts an excellent location with many unique restaurants nearby
I was happy to stay in this hotel as it was in the middle shopping street n easily to find foods n souveirs. The best part is the coin washing machine n dryer. The only bad thing is pillow too soft n towel too short.
The room was a bit small, as is common with most Japanese hotels. However, the location is fantastic, right on the main street of Kokusai Dori. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with a good variety and delicious food
For the price, the rooms, breakfast, and service are all excellent. If you're looking for a resort by the sea, this isn't it, but for a city-center stay, this hotel is a great choice
Overall, it provides excellent value for money and is highly recommended. Its location is superb, situated right on Kokusai Dori Street
It was convenient to borrow an umbrella on a rainy day. Right downstairs from the hotel is a specialty shop selling Yukishio (snow salt), and their ice cream and chocolate crunch cookies were delicious
The bathroom was convenient for showering, offering both a bathtub and a separate, quite spacious shower, almost like those found in a public bathhouse. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant once
The hot water and sauna at Sky Spa were also the best
Very convenient location in Chinatown. Parking just around the corner, very decent pricing when you get the voucher from reception at checkout. Nice onsen on the roof with outdoor baisin
The hotel environment is great and the location is excellent. It was just during Chinese New Year, so it was a bit hard to find parking. The hot springs were really relaxing, though. I'll definitely come back next time.
Excellent location and hotel is very new located in center of city which has lots of eateries around
Hotel staffs are very helpful and kind definitely will stay again in next visit
The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic! It’s on a quiet pedestrian street just two minutes from Chinatown, and there are tons of great restaurants and cafes nearby
One of the bigger rooms I had on my trip to Japan. Great location and don t miss the excellent lunch buffet with harbour view. Will come back@
The weather was nice and the sea breeze felt great.
Breakfast was also delicious.
The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent; I had a wonderful night's sleep. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!
The facilities are a bit old, but overall they still reflect the standards of a long-established luxury hotel. The service is excellent, and the hotel is located very close to the city center.
The location is good and staff are very nice. There is a free shuttle bus service to Nagasaki ropeway every night and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel
Great service, really confortable, the location is excellent. And a plus all the amenities!! I loved the eye warmers and the bath powder :D
Excellent location. Good parking at the hotel. Helpful front desk. We got a corner room with a bit of the view of the sea and Sakurajima.
Very comfortable stay with drip coffee provided
The service is top-notch! They even provided a shoe drying machine and helped us on several occasions. Probably best value for money in Kagoshima if you're looking for an affordable but comfortable stay
Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. FYI, parking facilities only able to accommodate small vehicle. No worries, external parking is within walking distance.
It is situated at the corner of the arcade quarters, so it is very comfortable to walk almost anywhere under the roof that protects you from both sun and rain
Walking distance from ferry to Sakurajima and toppy/rocket port to Tanegashima and Yakushima (sadly, no arcades on that stretch of distance)
Kyushu, Miyako Island, 2422-1 Shimozato Hirara 🧭 Map
It seems to cater to many long-term guests, as we were able to use the laundry room and microwave
The best in town for cheap price. Parking fee cost 500 yen but it was still cheap. Close to airport. Very clean and staffs are really friendly.
We had booked breakfast with our stay which was also very good with a lot of choice between Asian/Japanese and Western food. Location was very close to the airport which made it easily acessible by foot
All the hotel staff were also very kind, and the restaurant staff in particular kept a close eye on keeping the place clean and were very helpful with customer support, making breakfast a pleasant experience
The room also provided basic amenities like toothbrushes, body towels, and shampoo, but guests had to bring their own cotton balls and tea from the lobby on the first floor
There was no view of the ocean from the room, and there were neighboring buildings and plumbing, but it felt more like a single-person studio apartment
Kyushu, Fukuoka, 2-14-15 Hakata Ekimae Hakata-ku 🧭 Map
The room size is quite generous for a Japanese hotel, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. I searched for a long time and this seemed like the best option, and it definitely didn't disappoint! 🥰
The location is great, and the environment is very high-end and luxurious. The soundproofing is also excellent. This time, I stayed here on the first day and even had a suitcase sent over
Then I went to Beppu for two days and came back to stay here again. Next time I come to Fukuoka, I will definitely stay here again
Great location, about a ten-minute walk from Hakata Station. The hotel was comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious! There are many small restaurants and a Lawson convenience store near the hotel
The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The room size is about 25 square meters, which is more than enough space for two suitcases
Great location, right next to Fukuoka Station! The room was pretty spacious for Japan, which is always a plus. As everyone knows, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby, so grabbing breakfast was a breeze
Comfortable room. Onsen is the best. All is good except WiFi reception on higher floor is kind of slow.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Miebashi Monorail Station, making it just a few minutes' walk after a direct monorail ride from the airport. While the rooms are compact, they are well-equipped
Everything was great. Location is convenient, breakfast is tasty. Public bath is good
This hotel offers excellent value for money. Its location is fantastic, approximately a 7-minute walk from Miebashi Station
Onsen: water temperature not as high as i wish
Breakfast: great variety, Japanese style breakfast
Reception: friendly English-speaking staff
Free-flow Welcoming drink: okinawa drink and tea. Overall, good for short stay
The port is also incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute stroll away, making it an ideal choice for anyone planning trips to the outer islands. Despite its size, it's well-equipped with all the necessary amenities
The location is excellent, only a 5-10 minute walk to Hakata JR Station, and it's easy to find places to eat nearby. Hygiene: Very good, very clean. Environment: Great, with a natural hot spring bath
The space in the queen room was decent, fitting two suitcases comfortably. The hotel's location is excellent; there's a bus stop just a few dozen meters away, and Hakata Station is a short walk further
Yaoji hotel is very convenient to walk to Hakata station. The natural hot spring is very nice ; is spacious to cope with big crowds. Will definitely stay this hotel again.
The staff were friendly, though their English might be a bit limited as they used a translator
Comfortable stay and strategic location (walkable distance to bus / transportation hub).
The room has this moldy smell to it, luckily I can open the window but unfortunately on that two days I was staying here, weather been really sunny and there’s barely any cold winds, plus there’s no aircond in the room?? Hotel has vintage feels to it, if you dig that
Though not large, this hotel offers great value for money. Staying on the 13th floor, I could see Hakata Subway Station right outside the window, which speaks volumes about its excellent location! The room was also clean
Easy walk from Hakata station, location is excellent. Very nice room, lots of amenities and free drinks and ice-cream in the afternoon, breakfast was outstanding. Free washer and dryer in the hotel is a plus
The staff were excellent and very friendly. The room was clean and a good size for two people. The location is perfect—right near Hakata Station, which made traveling very easy. I would definitely stay here again!
The location is great, just a 5-minute walk to Hakata JR Station, and it's easy to find places to eat nearby. The facilities are excellent and pretty new. The staff are also very enthusiastic
Very near to Hakata station and convenient. Room is clean and there are free snacks and drinks in the lounge daily. Will recommend to stay there again.
The bathroom is really spacious and even comes with a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long journey. The soundproofing is pretty good too; the street outside isn't noisy at all
