Although it’s a short walk to Hakata Station, the distance is still manageable as long as it’s not raining. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay

I've stayed at several Toyoko Inn hotels, and as always, I'm thoroughly satisfied. This particular location is excellent, right next to Kumamoto Station

Very convenient location close to the train station, and it's just a short walk to the A-line tram which takes you directly into the city center! The breakfast caters well to Chinese palates, definitely recommended! Hopefully, they can add some Chinese translations in the future!

To be honest, this hotel is located right above the bus station, which is super convenient. You can easily walk to Kumamoto Castle, and shopping and dining in Kumamoto are also within easy walking distance

However, the bathroom is excellent, with a separate standing shower and a small bathtub. The room I got was also quite cute, with a small sofa area, which was a nice touch

It's especially time-saving if your next destination is Kagoshima or Hitoyoshi, as Japan's infrastructure has been a bit disappointing lately – the railway is still damaged from a flood and hasn't been repaired, so you have to take a bus! To get to JR Kumamoto Station, it's just three or four stops by tram

We stayed at the main building, furnitures and bed would need a renewal but location was perfect. Overall a good experience not expensive

Hotel is located in the more residential part of the city in Asahibashi - it is about 8-10 mins walk from the monorail, which is fine if you aren't carrying large suitcases or if the weather holds up

Parking available but almost always full by the end of the day but they have a few parking spots a block away so a little walk is needed. Very limited plug points, must bring extension

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Higashi-Hie subway station on the airport line, and it's just one stop to Hakata Station. There's a 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and a drugstore nearby, so it's really convenient

The location is next to the tram stop, Sakuramachi bus station and Sakuramachi Kumamoto is almost in front of you, so if you enter the city with arcades, you don't need an umbrella, it's cheap if you include the location and other things, the people at the front desk are smiling, the room and other places are beautiful, which is not the case with me at all, but the cleaning lady said, "...

Not bad, location is central (close to the main attraction of Kumamoto Castle). The soundproofing is poor though, got woken up at 5am by next door's vibrating phone/people coughing. Cute decorations in the lobby.

The location is super convenient, with the airport shuttle bus stop right downstairs. From the hotel lobby, you can see Sakurajima volcano, which is constantly active, erupting smoke every evening. Definitely worth it!

The room was decent, not too small. We could fit two suitcases by moving the table. The volcano view was absolutely stunning; we even saw an eruption on our first day, making the observatory mountain feel unnecessary

Great location. Be aware that breakfast can get crowded, so you might have to queue. The same goes for check-in at 3 PM, so it's best to go during off-peak hours if possible.

This is a great hotel, not far from the beach, Makishi Public Market, and Kokusai Street. You can walk to all of them. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the airport is only about 6 kilometers away!

Amazing stay at Aqua Citta! The hotel is stylish and clean, but the rooftop pool is the real star. It is incredible for relaxing on a sunny day—the views are great and the vibe is perfect for couples

The location is excellent, right outside the JR station. The deluxe room is more spacious, but the bathroom is still very, very small. The bed is quite large and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast is served until 9 AM.

The room invironment was good, free WiFi. Mountain was viewable from our room. Station was near around 5 minutes walking. They also serve complementary breakfast.

5mins' walk to Kagoshimachuo Station. Could hear trains passing by now and then but it doesn't really affect sleep. We stayed for two nights and got slightly different breakfast options each morning which is a plus!

Centrally located in Naha, within walking distance to Kokusai Street, and right next to Miebashi Monorail Station for easy access to anywhere. It's a business hotel with good value for money.

Everything is good n location is really great, I will pick this again in the next trip. Highly recommend to the solo tour buddy.

There was a sign saying that the neglected laundry would be collected after 10 minutes, but there weren't any staff keeping an eye on this anyway, so the warning sign wasn't helpful

The hotel's location is very convenient. The double room was significantly smaller than the triple room, and it only had a shower, no bathtub, which is quite unusual for Japan

The hotel location couldn’t be better. It’s right at the exit of the train that comes from the airport. The view is great. I’d recommend upgrading to a slightly bigger room.

Must booked their Kumamoto theme room, if not is superb small. The Kumamoto theme room is big and comfortable. Kumamon inside is cute. Come with welcome gift in room as well.

Excellent location, just connected to Nagasaki JR station via a pedestrian walkway. The foods in the breakfast are rich and plentiful.

Kumamoto is also quite a retro city, with a very old-school feel. My trip was a bit rushed, so there were many places I didn't get to see, but the hotel was excellent

Very old hotel not only style but maintenance and cleanliness. Carpet smell not good at the elevator‘s interior, corridor and in hotel room. The room is very old too and not clean enough, dusty, no drinking water

The location is excellent, very close to both bus and subway stations. However, check-in took a bit long. The breakfast was diverse, with both Japanese and American options, which my kids absolutely loved.

This place offers everything you want and charges you a little. Right next to the infamous ichiran ramen place. You can also use the parking for 1800yen per day. Car has to be a small (under 1600cm)

You can drop your luggage at the hotel. Free beer provided in the evening at the bar. The staff is very nice, very welcoming and very helpful

The worst part I feel about this hotel is that the front desk and main entrance are mixed together with a bar on the same floor so at the evening/ night time there are a lot of people there with loud music dancing and drinking making the entrance and front desk area very crowded and annoying to access

Price per night was pretty expensive for buisness hotel and whilst that is normal for fukouka that did not justify the price for this place in my opinion

I had a fantastic 3-day stay at Remm. The staff are super courteous and helpful. I got a room on the 11th floor, so there was a good city-view and the single room was perfect for one person.

At my checkin the receptionist saw I am a cyclist and he immediately suggested that I leave my bike in the luggage area, without having to request, which is exceptional when you travel by bicycle
