Service is excellent, all staff are super nice and friendly and professional. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had in Japan
Excellent location, great hospitality from staff and the best part is how spacious the room was! Now, this hotel has been around for a while and had been renovated but despite evreything, we just loved the overall package
we have an excellent stay here from May 3 to 9, 2026 with my family. The hotel location was great and bfast was excellent.
Everythibg is worth it. For sure will be back again here.
thank you so much hotel okara fukuokq
Really nice staff and very good place to visit. The hotel is connected to the Nakasu-Kawabata which is really convenient to travel in the city to Tenjin or Hakata.
Very good location connected to the train station. The bed was on the harder side, including the pillow. The switches of the light shone brightly towards the (one person) bed, which was a bit uncomfortable
The room itself was a typical business hotel room. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had in Japan, I was really happy
The Executive Room is truly great, I'll definitely be back next time! So many perks: afternoon tea, cocktails, lots of food, draft beer, sparkling wine – a must-try for anyone who enjoys a good drink! Highly recommended.
😅 This hotel is a bit of a distance from the station, so it's best to have a car! Okinawa's weather is unpredictable; it's great for walking around when it's nice, but very inconvenient if it's raining or windy!
I heard that the infinity pool is famous and used it. The pool is smaller than I expected but you can enjoy the view of Naha. The premier round is very good because you can freely consume alcohol and snacks
Very clean, though the room was a bit compact, the amenities were excellent. We were very satisfied with all the hotel provisions.
With a rental car, access is no issue at all. The location is quiet, and the hotel facilities and service are excellent. The parking fee is 1,500 yen per day.
The location is excellent, right next to Sakuracho Bus Terminal, making it super convenient to get to Amakusa for dolphin watching. There's also a tram station nearby, so getting anywhere is a breeze
Good. New. Clean. Convenient location. Onzen too.
As good as ever, and a convenient location.
Nice hotel and also onsen nice location also good and accessible
Right across from the bus station, and super convenient for getting to JR (Japan Railways) by tram – it's a flat 200 yen fare. The hotel's rooftop onsen is a real highlight
The hotel's top floor has a hot spring, a sauna, and ice cream. They even serve ramen at night
If you visit Kagoshima, Sun Royal is a good choice
Super Iconic hotel and very comfortable to stay in! We were here for two nights and would totally recommend this to whoever visiting Kagoshima
Public seperate bath at the top floor (13F), free ice cubes, parking is 1000JPY per night, there are washing machine and drying services, get the rooms that face sakurajima! A huge shopping mall just right across the hotel!
Perfect for a relaxing Kagoshima getaway. The shuttle service is super convenient for exploring the city, and combined with a one-day transport pass, a two-night stay is just right
The hotel's on-site hot springs are also very comfortable, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning!
The onsen is located at the roof and you can view Volcano Sakurajima and sun rise there
This is a great hotel! The best I had in Japan yet! Rooms are spacious, facilities are great and extremely clean! Beds felt cozy and had the best sleep! Great onsen experience and free beverages at the lounge!
Location walking distance to Hakata Station
Pretty good. Check in with self check in kiosk was fast and smooth. Check out was the same just return the room cards. Hotel room was very clean and tidy.
Very good facilities, onsen at 14/F, with sky lounge and free drinks, will come again
The staff at the reception was very accommodating, even going outside together with us to show the available parking lots near the hotel even if there was already a printed one given
Staff are extremely friendly and check in and check out process is by self and very smooth. Great overall experience and would stay here again when im in Fukuoka
Check-in is done beforehand using a machine, and then you pick up your room key yourself. The hotel has a hot spring, but I didn't get to try it
And then retrieve the key back when come back to the hotel after the cleaning. No microwave in room, you need to go down to the lobby to use the only microwave in the hotel. Otherwise the hotel is a cheap and good stay
Hotel is in a pretty good location. Close to kumamoto JR station by Tram and walkable distance to the sakuramachi bus terminal/mall (5min). Serviable by both red and blue tram lines as well
This was my first hotel in Japan, and the front desk service was excellent, with very sweet staff. It was quite surprising to see guests queuing for check-in automatically keeping a meter apart
The hotel provides room cleaning for concurrent 3 days stay I believe (no daily cleaning, only change of towels), but you will need to pass the keycard/key tothe front desk on the day of the cleaning
Extremely close to the station! It's just over 100 meters to the Fukuoka station, making it super convenient for coming and going
Room is slightly bigger than the usual japanese business hotel. Pricewise was really affordable as well ($40+ sgd/night 1 pax)
We found good review so since it is just a late overnight and the price is good so we booked it. 4-5 monorail stations away from airport. We paid 280yen per pax for ticket. The hotel is just next to monorail
They have 3 laundry machines and 3 dryer machines. Dryer machines take a long time to do but worked well. Possibilty to rent bicycle and car. I hardly give 10/10 but this one was really the best
This trip reaffirmed that the best family-friendly hotel isn't about having the most lavish facilities, but rather about efficiently supporting your explorations and gently cushioning your fatigue
On my 2 weeks trip this was my best hotel. Super friendly staff who speaks perfect English. Just 1 minute away from monorail. There is a nice park next to it if you need a relaxing time
Mercure Naha: More Than Just a Hotel, It's the Perfect Base for Family Explorations of Okinawa
For families traveling with toddlers and elderly relatives who need comfort, a hotel with an excellent location and full functionality is the cornerstone of the entire trip
Overall is good just that the room we selected is slight smaller but it is in city area so this is good for us. We booked for the cheapest and it is a queen size bed. There provided night pyjamas for us
Kyushu, Naha, 2 Chome-1-1 Asato, 902-0067 Naha, Prefektura Okinava, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
Great location just steps away from the main Kokusaidori street. Room cleaned every 3 days with possibility to change towels, but not empty the trash. Breakfast good, but a bit crowded. Overall would definitely recommend
The hand soap and shampoo provided by the hotel were of good quality and pleasant to use. There were also many free disposable toiletries available for self-service in the lobby, which was very convenient
Excellent location, staff are helpful and can speak quite well English. Newly renovated and everything are new. Surprisingly the refrigerator is so big👍🏻👍🏻
Had a great stay at the hotel, they provided a lot of different amenities and it’s located next to a station hence getting around, especially to the airport, was very convenient. The toilet was also very spacious
Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day as long as we put the blue sign outside our door before 10 AM. The hotel's location is close to the tram station, and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby
We booked a 27-square-meter twin room, and it was very comfortable for a family of three. There was still plenty of space to move around even after opening our large suitcases
Standard Japanese business hotel, rooms were a little dirtier than usual (the walls and seats had lots of stains on them). Other than that, the service was good.
Good hotel. Overall the rooms are well sized for japan. It's clean and well kept. The breakfast spread was big although it seemed for the time we had breakfast it was cold.
The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, which is quite convenient. The room was a bit small, and it seemed like the bathroom fan couldn't be turned off, making a slight noise
Shopping options around Hakata Station are abundant, so the location is excellent
Breakfast was good and quite extensive!
The service was great, and the location was excellent. However, the room was incredibly tiny. I honestly don't know how anyone could manage to open a 24-inch suitcase in there
Room size is ok, very good location with tons of food options. Will stay there again
Great hotel, near station
Good breakfast
Very nice and helpful staff
Location is good, exactly about 4 minis from the station. Room size is ok. Clean.
Convenient location, walking distance to both station , 15 min walk to canal city and another 3 min further the night food stands
cozy breakfast buffet and yummy selection, please have an empty stomach, we tried their brunch buffet so worth it !
Rooms are so new and clean!
Little bit tight for a 6 foot man, I manage to slip my 28 inch luggage under the desk
New and clean, with friendly and cheerful staff. The room was smaller than expected since it was a twin with the beds placed side by side. Breakfast was varied and tasty.
The location is very convenient - only about a 8-minute walk from Hakata Station. The room is a bit small, but well-equipped. The bathroom and toilet are separate
The location is excellent! You can take a bus directly from DFS in Shintoshin, and it stops right at the hotel entrance. While the room facilities are a bit old, the rooms are very spacious, perfect for family trips
Spacious room top floor with good view. Is hotel parking compulsory? There are tree car park all around. I was asked to pay regardless.
Hotel was not very new but very spacious. Location is very good and very close to the aquarium. Staff was helpful and friendly.
The best thing about this hotel is its close proximity to Churaumi Ocean park. It also has an in-house onsen, albeit a small one. However, don't be fooled by its exterior, the rooms are quite old and design out-dated
If you book in advance, the value for money is still pretty good!
There's a commercial street downstairs with a Starbucks and an Okinawa specialty supermarket. Getting to the aquarium is also convenient, with a shuttle bus service available for round trips
The rooms are small but beautifully designed and fully equipped! The breakfast, in particular, is very Japanese, with a wide variety of dishes and daily surprises – a wonderfully diverse and delicious Japanese breakfast! I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit
The hotel is conveniently located right next to the south exit of Saga Station, offering easy access to both the station and the city center. There are many dining options within the station
Clean room, good facilities and free breakfast but only last till 9 am
It's right in front of the station, so it's convenient for taking the train. Trains run infrequently.
The menu is diverse and delicious.
The single rooms could be a little cheaper.
Thank you!!! The breakfast as usual full your stomach with nice local food. All facilities are new and clean
Spotless clean, fresh air in the room, comfy bed, friendly staff
good experience. i forgot my receipt inside of the hotel room. i called and the female staff was helping me wholeheartedly! very grateful
Location very good, basically contains every basic need
The good thing is train station, supermarket and department store is next door
✨ Simple, clean, and super convenient ✨
Staying at Toyoko Inn Sasebo Eki Mae 🏨 Just few steps from Sasebo Station
Perfect for short stays, business trips, and travel in Nagasaki 🇯🇵💼 This hotel is a must-stay!
Amazing location!!!
Its just right outside Sasebo Train Station. They have complementary breakfast each morning (simple japanese food) but its good!
The rooms were also bigger than those Im used to in Tokyo and Osaka
Excellent location in front of the train and bus station. Great customer service. Enjoyed the Japanese breakfast every morning.
Kyushu, Miyako Island, 914 Shimojiaza-Yonaha 🧭 Map
It's a great hotel, good service and excellent food. To top it all the location is perfect.
A perfect resort, few people, good food, and a super beautiful sea view. The front desk charges a child fee, which Ctrip also solved very well. The only drawback is that many sea activities require Japanese.
The service was truly exceptional, and the hotel's restaurants were all quite good. The teppanyaki was delicious, and the Japanese restaurant offered fair prices. Even the BBQ meats were surprisingly tasty
Except for the fact that I was assigned a room on the first floor, everything else was good. The hotel is located in a remote area, but there are convenience stores and small shops nearby
You can take a taxi outside, and there is also an airport bus at the door, which is good
But the moment you enter the room and open the window, all thoughts of "outdatedness" are instantly washed away by the view – the 2000+ yen room rate is well worth it just for the sapphire-blue sea view!
The hotel's location is simply divine, directly facing the famous Yonaha Maehama Beach
This hotel boasts an excellent location near Kokusai-dori, not far from the monorail station and Ryubo Department Store. Plus, the breakfast is truly thoughtful, offering a diverse selection of Okinawan specialty dishes.
It's pretty good, very clean, and the location is also great.
This place is very easy to find. Just take the monorail in front of Naha airport and get off 6 stops later at the prefecture office. Cross the short bridge on the left, go ahead and u will be in front of a larger street
The hotel's location is super convenient! It's only a five-minute walk from the monorail station. The room was bright, clean, and quiet. If you're joining a day tour, the meeting point is just a five-minute walk away
The room's interior has a lovely wooden style. I especially liked the self-service luggage storage in the lobby. You can also work in the lobby after checking out, as there are charging ports available
Most importantly, it's only a few minutes' walk from the light rail station, which is super convenient
The room is very clean, but the facilities are a little old and have a sense of age. The sound insulation is very good
The room is too small but considering the location and price, it is quite reasonable. The room and a bathroom is clean. The best thing of this hotel is obviously, a location
I booked a high price because there were no rooms available, but when I got there, there were still rooms available and they were cheaper. It was absurd.
Overall, an okay hotel. Breakfast was also okay. The location is good.. The staff also responds well..
Decent okay hotel... Smelly and cramped. However, location is excellent and at the end of the day... Value for money
Although it is a hotel that has not been renovated for many years, it is very clean and you can't tell that it has not been renovated for a long time
Excellent location to Hakata station, good breakfast, self check-in check-out was easy to use, good selection of self-serve amenities, staff were friendly to assist
Excellent service from Front Desk to the staff serving breakfast. Just 3 minutes walk from Hakata station, very good for shopping
The hotel is ideally located, just 150 meters from the East Exit of Hakata Station. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast spread is excellent, with both Japanese and Western options available
Plus, a famous ramen spot is within walking distance, so finding good food is super easy. It's a one-stop shop for travel, dining, and accommodation, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay
The location is excellent, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to popular shopping malls, making shopping a breeze
There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and shopping is very convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Fukuoka
Good location
A bit loud with many chinese tourist
The parking downhill
Good location, in center of the shopping district, bus stop and monorail stop is nearby. Hotel rooms are clean.
Excellent location! The receptionists are polite and friendly. We had 2 rooms — they are aged but reasonably clean and comfortable. Anyway, we were out in Okinawa all day long so we really enjoy them.
It's a great spot for day trips, close to the train station, convenience stores, drugstores, and even the famous A&W BBQ restaurant (Maki-ji Beef), Okinawan cuisine, tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet), steakhouses, and gift shops
They provided several different shampoos and hair products for guests to choose from the front desk which is nice! And the location is awesome, in the beginning of kokusai street and can get to the rail station within 5mins
The Makishi Public Market is also easily accessible. The staff are all very friendly and provide free water (no need to buy extra)
rooms too small, pool is only open until 5 PM, on a private beach all chargeable: sun beds, slides for kids and so on. but overall the hotel is good, restaurant is pleasant entertainment for children quite a lot
The zipline at the hotel was super fun! The room facilities are a bit old, but there's free parking, which is great for people traveling by car.
Worth every penny, the service was excellent, the environment was lovely, and the buffet breakfast was really good. You can see the beach right from the window, which the kids loved. All in all, a fantastic experience!
An excellent experience, perfect for families with kids. My children really enjoyed the banana boat ride and the crafting activities. Breakfast was quite rich and varied
Wonderful experience here for our honeymoon. Staff were lovely and attentive. Our room was spacious and super comfortable
Traveling with my parents and kids, we found the front desk staff at the hotel to be very friendly, which was great
There are some restaurants nearby the hotel as well which also serve as a very good alternative for dining options
The hotel is in good location and very accessible to city area
Good location, near to Ishigaki ferry terminal where vendors pick up and drop off participants for water activities, however parking spaces in the main carpark are always full and the second carpark is quite a distance away
Very clean room. Love the public bath . Breakfast is also very good.
The availability with massage shops, souvenir shop, spa and sauna, swimming pool, bar and restaurants are very comprehensive and you can just enjoyed all kinds of amenities by staying in this one single hotel
The staffs are friendly and it is to great pleasure with the tour centre inside inside the hotel which you can easily book a lot of outdoor activities without worrying all the transportation arrangements
