Hotel room was spacious and extremely clean. However we did not have a good experience with the reception counter. The staff I spoke to was rude and unhelpful.

This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip. com and is, at best, a 3-star property. The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury

Unfortunately, good staff alone cannot make up for the limited facilities, extra charges, and inconvenient procedures. Overall, this hotel does not deliver a 5-star experience and feels misleadingly advertised

The staff is very polite and attentive The room is very bright and spacious. The breakfast was very good, the both restaurants - Japanese and Italian - was quite good, but it's not really big so there is a line

Very good hotel with all necessary facilities for holiday and shopping. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking but they are changing the policy later.

The sea view from our balcony was a joy to wake up to every morning and the fresh air coming into the room together with the comfortable beds in the quiet room guaranteed a good nights sleep

The western and Japanese restaurants had an excellent selection of food and drink choices

There were a few cute restaurants that were easy walking distance to the hotel especially for dinner, with good food and each had their specialties

Also take out option is available in Paseo Garden restaurant. Aqua zone have two swimming pools the indoors and the outdoors one. Guests may purchase sauna and sento ticket for 550 ¥

This was my first trip to Kyushu, and I started in Kokura. I was tired from traveling, so I picked the hotel closest to the station. It was clean and tidy, right above the station

The view from the window was great, and there's a mall downstairs. Across the street, there's a shopping arcade mostly filled with izakayas

Except for a non-speaking hotel staffs, other things are good. The hotel is connected to Kokura Station, good room size with reasonable price (I stayed in a double room for single occupancy), nicely cleaned, etc.

Located right above the station, extremely convenient. Walking distance to Kokura castle, very clean room as well. Would stay here again

The staff said because our car is a big car (Noah) and there are no space for us to park. (He said there are 6 big car parking space only) and they are first come first serve

While I asked if I can park behide the car in front of the hotel (see the attached picture as there was one black car) the staff said No and only can park One car there

Location: About a 5-minute walk from Makishi monorail station, making it convenient to reach Makishi Market and the shopping street on foot. Kokusai Street is also not too far away

The second day, we would like to park the car but another staff asked us if we have the parking ticket. Surely we didn’t have since no one announced us

near to the shopping district. room is decent sized able to open 2large luggage. and wished there is more area to hang towel however upon request for clothes rack it was available

The designer who created the hotel with the central atrium structure is a genius! And the large communal bath on the first basement floor is good! There is hot water, warm water, very warm water almost the same as body temperature, sauna, and even a cold bath

The hotel is located in Kirishima, making it convenient to drive to Kagoshima and Sakurajima. The lobby has a great design, the room was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive

Both breakfast and dinner were substantial, and a special highlight was being able to try the local specialty, 'Jigoku Mushi' (hell-steamed dishes), cooked with 98-degree hot water directly from the onsen

The twin room was 26 square meters, clean and tidy. I stayed on the 16th floor, where I could see Beppu Bay to the left and trains arriving and departing from the station to the right

Kim at the front desk was very nice and helped us with changing to non smoking room without much hassle. Deserve 5 stars

Single room typical Japanese style but a bit narrow to accommodate 24” luggage with both sides fully open

Buffet has good spread, but the meat stew serving was limited, after 8am there’s no more meat in the stew, left with the carrots, lotus roots etc. should refill as the buffet ends 930am

This traditional Japanese hotel is conveniently located a 5-6 minute walk from the JR station, and it's popular among Japanese guests. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service remains warm and friendly

The location is nice, close to the castle. It was nice to visit onsen in the hotel and try curry with horse meat in the evening. The breakfast was good too - buffet. The room was comfortable and clean

Good blackout shades. Noise wasnt too bothersome being so close to shopping. Shopping was a minute away which was fantastic. Good inexpensive place to stay for a night.

Traveling in Kyushu, Japan, I stayed in Kumamoto for two nights in a twin room. The room layout was well-designed, allowing us to open two suitcases comfortably. The room was fully equipped, clean, and tidy.

It's well-equipped and even has a large shop on the ground floor. While it's a bit of a walk from the station, it's conveniently close to the beach, and Naminoue Shrine is also within easy walking distance

Environment: Every room offers a sea view. My kids had a blast collecting shells and coral on the hotel's private beach. There's a path leading to the sea with a warning sign; it would make for great photos on a nice day

Your hotel is the must stay hotel in every Okinawa trip. I have nearly stayed at your hotel for 5 times or more. Your hotel gives me a very relax atmosphere & I love the staff at your hotel, also, for the facilities

Facilities: When I booked, I chose the option for a free extra bed for the child. I was initially worried the hotel might be old, but it seems to have been renovated as all the facilities are new and very clean

A 4-inch cake was 3500 yen, which was a reasonable price, and it tasted great! All the staff were very kind and polite. Overall, even though it was winter, it was uncrowded and comfortable

Facilities: Aside from the great location, the facilities are pretty average. There's no hot spring bath, and very few shared amenities. Cleanliness: Generally good, the cleaning staff seemed quite diligent

We were surprised to learn that the car parking is now something you have to pay, which wasn't the case last year. Seems like a very cheap decision on their part considering the hotel is already pretty expensive

Best service. The staff was very nice and thoughtful. We asked for room to changes clothes after a morning red-eye flight and we got we asked as a big room with mirror.

Overall, everything was very good. However, the soundproofing in the room was quite poor, and I could clearly hear guests from nearby rooms.

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating in changing the smoking rooms to non-smoking ones. They were considerate in helping us manage and prevent the need to change rooms, despite being fully booked.

Hotel location good and Canal City in walking distance, but room cleaning is not provide every day, maybe there is a new rule in Japan hotel, even my second hotel in this trip also provide cleaning services on alternate day

The front desk employee very professional and friendly. Enjoy the stay with excellent service.  The room is clean just one small point on; the headboard bed was a little dusty so I clean up a bit and it was ok.

The room was excellent, and the rooftop hot spring bath was a fantastic bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke great English, even patiently understanding my rather poor Japanese

Great location and onsen on top floor is awesome, open until 2am. Bed wasn’t the comfiest and washroom is small. But use the onsen daily to bathe and life is good.

The hotel is very minimalistic but the location is excellent. The public bath is also quite enjoyable. However for families, remember that Nakasu is a night club/karaoke area at night!

The hotel is nice with high level lobby and free hot spring on the top floor. That is actually located in the prime location of Fukuoka with few top travel spots around like 櫛田神社, Canal City & Tenjin Underground mall

Friendly staff that speaks good english. Luggage storage on the first floor that can be unlocked using ic card. Clean and extremely short distance from the train station, bus and trams.

JR Kyushu hotel Nagasaki is within walking distance to Nagasaki JR station and it is surrounded by shopping malls. We were grateful for the early check in at 1pm. The room is cozy and comfortable

Hotel’s location is also very central and easy connecting by bus or trams to places of interest such as Mt Inasa ropeway, Atomic Bomb Peace Museum, Glover Garden, Dejima, Gunkanjima Digital Museum etc

The space is just nice for one large and one medium luggages. The toilet and amenities provided are great. Luggage storage was available after check out. Umbrellas was also available for rainy days

That’s the explanation why such a bad hotel that is cheaper than others - but still expensive - and has an excellent situation can survive

  The hotel only provides 2 free bottles of water when we checked in. There’s no daily supply of water throughout the stay. Although hot water is available at the hotel lobby, there’s no cold water dispenser

The cost of hotels in central Hakata is very high compared even to Tokyo because there is a lack of rooms in a growing city which is a hub for neighbour asian tourists

The hotel’s location was great, with easy access to Hakata station via an exit just outside the side entrance of the hotel. However the side entrance closes early

This causes inconvenience during one of the rainy days when we were back late cos we have to walked to the main entrance where there’s no sheltered pathway

This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Kokusai Street, with a 7-Eleven and Lawson convenience store right downstairs – super convenient! We booked a triple room for two, and it was incredibly spacious

Sesoko is a great island, and without a doubt, hotel service is top notch, everything from arrival to departure is great, and staff always watch out for you and welcomes you very warmly. Pool is good, facilities is nice

Best part is the walk to Sesoko Beach, is truly the highlight, in terms of proximity and the beach quality. It is a tranquil stay and we always felt at peace through the trip there

The rooms, the facilities, the common areas. It is a plus they have complimentary water and iced/hot water dispensers in each floor. the spa was SO fantastic, although children are very very noisy

However, the jacuzzi is all worth it. The beach is VERY pretty, fantastic for a stroll. The room has a glorious sea view, and the bed, table and chairs, safety box, bathroom are top notch

The hotel also offered a special dinner set at each restaurant. We truly enjoyed the dinner set while watching the sunset and fireworks from the 28th floor. The food at the French restaurant was excellent

We booked a 3-bed room for one night. The location was excellent—right next to the subway station—and the outlet was also nearby. The reception staff were very helpful

Rooms are a good size and in good condition with above average views. House keeping was also good, though guests need to request daily services by placing a card on the room door otherwise daily service is not provided

The nearby Shinkansen station provides easy access to the hotel which is an easy 5-10 minutes walk. Wifi worked well and the air conditioning was good especially in the cold weather

In particular, the receptionist assisted us in booking a French restaurant. As you may know, Japan often requires reservations 1–2 days in advance, but she managed to secure a table for us on the same night

My personal feeling is that the surcharge was a bit expensive for hotel guests. com or the hotel could offer a bundle package including the room charge plus sauna & spa access, that would be wonderful

The best seaside Hot spring I've had!

Excellent value for money. The room was in great condition, and all the resort facilities were fantastic. However, it was a bit disappointing that dining options closed so early, around 2-3 PM.

The 'Island Pay' e-money, which can be used at shops throughout the island, offers excellent value: you get 2,000 yen in points when you charge 10,000 yen
