The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were inedible, though there were occasional exceptions. However, the coffee on the first floor was exceptional and quickly became a highlight of my stay.
The first floor also houses the reception, where Alua works. She is fantastic—very knowledgeable about the area and fluent in English, which I found to be a rare and valuable skill in Almaty. Alua provided excellent recommendations for places to visit, making my trip even more enjoyable.
Additionally, the first floor has a gym that's well-equipped for a basic workout, covering most of the essentials.
