This hotel has a fantastic ambiance with a strong Russian flair. Breakfast every morning was a real treat. The room was very quiet and the heating was excellent. It's super convenient for getting around, and it's easy to walk to many of the attractions. Definitely my top choice for a trip to Almaty.

The hotel is in a good location, room is clean abit smaller than when i stayed in holiday inn express but still able to put 2 luggages in the room. The breakfast spread is very good. Thumbs up. Very satisfied! Although it looks a bit dated, it's clean, well-equipped, and has a strong Soviet feel. The hotel food is plentiful, and transportation is convenient, with excellent bus connections right outside. It's not far from the airport either, less than a 30-minute drive. This is the second hotel I stayed at in Almaty. It's definitely an old-money style hotel. The hotel is located near the Koktobe cable car, which is convenient for getting around. A wonderful hotel located in a new district of Almaty, about a 15-minute taxi ride to the center. The rooms are clean and the staff is very polite.

The breakfast selection was decent, and the rooms were clean and hygienic. Although the room facilities were a bit old, they were all in good working order. The hotel also has facilities such as a swimming pool and gym, which can enhance the overall experience, as well as some other recreational facilities. However, the overall location is not convenient for walking around.

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite; one room had a king-sized bed, and the other had two twin beds which could be pushed together if needed. It also came with two bathrooms. The only blemish, if one could call it that, was that we were assigned a room with twin single beds instead of the queen bedroom that was booked.
