A wonderful 4-star hotel! Cleanliness is top-notch, the room is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is delicious, with a good selection. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is attentive. I would happily stay here again.

A beautiful and clean hotel. The staff is excellent. The location is excellent. Only the price is high. Upon early arrival, they did not accept early delivery of the room until after giving them an amount of money for a day.
We arrived at 8 in the morning tired. They did not accept to hand over the rooms until after giving them money for a full day of reservation. It is very bad that paying the amount of a full night for some hours, knowing that I booked two rooms for two weeks.

Hi we booked in grand opera hotel on 16 th September to 20th September for 3 rooms.after staying in two nights some staff came and stared telling down floor water is poring.bz off there plumbing issues they asked us to check outeven they don’t English properly.on 19th September they suddenly asked us to check out prior one day.bz off there mistake they just asked us to vacate the room with out giving alternate rooms.and also staff are very rude and in my life time travel experience I never had this kind off experience.please don’t go to this property.From now onwards I decided not to go this kind off cheap property.bz one day again I have to book other property bz off my flight was on next day.with out saying sorry they just asked us to check out.this is one off the worst hotel in Almaty.

The hotel is located at the back of the road, in a dilapidated driveway with no sidewalk. Public transportation is conveniently located nearby. The guest room carpets are old and dirty, and the shower drain is clogged and overflows. The sink faucet has a weak water flow; after being reported, maintenance staff immediately addressed and repaired it. The hotel does not differentiate between credit cards and requires a deposit for all guests. Only one type of credit card is accepted; there is no choice. Payment must be made in cash upon arrival. The deposit guarantee for full payment orders cannot be used to replace room fees; however, this arrangement can be negotiated and changed.

Being in a foreign country with a language barrier, I communicated through a translator. The environment couldn't compare to hotels in China, but locals said it was very good and offered great value for money. I stayed at this hotel in Almaty.

I stayed for three nights, breakfast was not included, and there was no housekeeping during my stay. The room facilities were poor, but the main advantage was that the price was reasonable. UnionPay cards are not accepted.

The hotel is located in the prime area and is value for money compared to the other hotels in this region. The staff are really helpful and the receptionists are the most welcoming people. I will definitely visit again.

1 It says breakfast is included, but there is no breakfast 2 The elevator does not work 3 Pool and sauna use is paid 4 The room view is 2 meters from the wall of the gym next door 5 The rooms are old, if you want a new room you have to pay extra 6 You have to go outside the hotel entrance to smoke, the hotel has a balcony terrace etc. There is no smoking area. 7 The cleaning staff shouting among themselves while cleaning other rooms may disturb you.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. First of all, the elevator was not working, and there was none one to help with the luggage. We had to take all our luggages and a stroller to higher level ourself. Secondly, the rooms are not cleaned at all, even if we ask for some cutlery missing, they did not bring. The last day of our stay the staff came at 1 am to clean the room when we were sleeping. But the worst thing is the attitude of the staff, they are not even sorry that the elevator is not working, and they are not polite. So, I highly recommend not to stay in the hotel.

I was invited to this place for small event and the organizer booked the VIP room which was located on the 0 floor.the food was tasty and the service was okay and the acoustics for karaoke was also not bad, so I'm generally satisfied with this place and I might be back

This is the worst possible hotel I have ever experienced in my lifetime. Don't have words to express my dissatisfaction and anger. You cannot imagine it's a hell. No service. No manners. Rude and unwelcoming staff. No room cleaning. No tea or water in the room. Everyday we collected compimentory water from reception ourself. We requested ice in the room they said they will send fast but it never reached. Very bad breakfast. At breakfast time staff is eating himself instead of serving to guests.if you are vegetarian, then you cannot eat anything here. You ll not get even proper tea or coffee. After lot of complaining they gave stale n stinking sambher with rotten smell & bitter taste. 2 days old poha was served which no one could even chew. You keep asking them, they will not listen, understand or deliver anything. Rather it's very insulting for any guest that they laugh at you. Even serving old stale food or eating themselves before guest id also very insulting for a guest. Staff doesn't deserve to be in hospitality industry at all.
So never ever go or advice anyone to choose this rotten so-called hotel to stay in Almaty.
I am still feeling that I have said very less.

Worst hotel in my lifetime .non cooperative staff. Even not giving glasses, cattles, in spite of asking so many times. Their response is very rude we don't have. Not giving drinking water even in breakfast.fixed manu four days. Cold half fried omelette ,cold bread ,cold hot coffee, few slices of apple orange and tomatoes. Breakfast start at 8.30 and at9. 15 you get answer that this is finished. Misbehaving your guests, we have to use towels and sanitaries for two days because no house keeping, and they even don't understand simple English words. Never advise anyone to go there.

Good hotel. Newly renovated. Breakfast needs more variety. Rooms are decorated well. Mirror is missing in dressing area. Overall value for money. Entrance is slightly obscure.
