I booked 3 nights at Star and ended up staying there for over a month. The hostel people are nice and caring. They have a kitchen where you can cook your own food, laundry service is cheap too
com mentioned breakfast included but no one prepared it until I asked the front desk guy, he told me theres no one to cook the breakfast then lastly an old women long term stayer in the same female dorm lend him a hand
Someone opened window widely and watching video/ listening to video loudly during sleeping time. * I booked a bed in Sun hostel and they overbooked so they sent me here
Except for its location. Avoid at all costs if you don’t want to get depression. Everything is bad. I stayed at many hostels on a budget but this is by far the worst.
Pros: Location
Cons: Only one toilet for all, booking
Moreover, the hotel staff also ran away! I am truly grateful to the owner and hostess of that establishment for taking me in (even though they didn't know it would turn out that way), for feeding me, and for being so concerned about me
I stayed with them for three days (alone in a hotel, and they didn't charge me a penny for that (even though I was only thinking about my family) until, by the will of Allah, I found my way home to Shymkent! I wrote through InDriver; this will probably seem like advertising 😂😂😂 (nothing of the sort)
The coronavirus lockdown began, all roads were closed, railways were blocked, and air routes were shut down. There was no way to leave the city, no way to travel, and I stayed in this hotel (there was nowhere to go)
Good, quiet hotel. 5-6 rooms, pleasant service, tasty breakfast, no choice, but at the same time fried eggs from 2 eggs with vegetables, 2 sausages, bread, butter, liver, wafer, yogurt. Clean and cozy in the rooms.
I live in Shymkent, but I found myself in a very unfortunate situation! Briefly: I arrived in Pavlodar for work that day and didn't have time to leave, but I had booked a room in advance in case I couldn't leave
I want to thank the hosts of my overnight stay. I'm writing after almost four years. "THANK YOU!" I hope you'll read this! And if you do, please reply; I haven't forgotten you! And I'll thank you personally!
The daytime admission price includes use of umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, a barbecue area, and restrooms, which we were very pleased about! Besides the beach, there are also swimming pools and a separate, huge children's pool (also included in the entrance fee)
And, of course, you can bring any food and drinks you like. We had a great time and, like true city dwellers, of course, got a sunburn! We'll be visiting often from now on!
You get what you pay for. It's a chilled vibe. I look forward to going back in peak season, to experience the resort at its finest.
Good hotel for one or two nights. The location is very cool, there are cafes and markers around. In the morning we went to the tram stop, and after 10-15 minutes we were already in the mountains and enjoying nature
Big unfriendly hotel. The security is over zealous.
Excellent location, but low hygiene standards and run-down furnishing!
Clean, cozy, affordable, I liked everything, a suite for 15,000 per night, breakfast included, simple but delicious – porridge, eggs, yogurt, coffee, and tea. The room itself is neat, a little tired, but overall fine
This is my second year staying there. I used to stop staying there because it was cold and dirty, but recently I had to because I was tired of looking for an apartment
The parking lot is secure and the check-in is easy, the admin is incredibly polite, and overall, it's just perfect for a good night's sleep and then moving on
There's a hairdryer, toiletries, robes, and slippers. Two bottles of water in the room
I was pleasantly surprised that it's warm, cozy, and clean again
The shower drain is poorly functioning, and it takes a very long time for the water to drain. The receptionist, Altyn, sometimes reacts irritably to guests' perfectly reasonable requests
2.9 km from Bayterek Monument, Алатау is set in Nur-Sultan and has a restaurant and a bar. The property is situated 6 km from Expo 2017 Astana. The property is 1.2 km from Khazret Sultan Mosque.
The Turkestan Hotel in Almaty is located next to one of Almaty’s largest markets. Almaty Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Behind a modern, glass exterior, the Turkestan Hotel welcomes guests with a spacious lobby and 24-hour reception.
Although it was somewhat off the beaten track, a taxi was always a faithful companion, making the distance disappear. Thus, even the distance became part of the charm, a small detour a greater experience
Staff is really friendly and helpful. It is in the center of the city and everything is close by, including shopping district, business and entertainment. Rooms are spacious and clean.
As a traveling tourist, I found an oasis of tranquility here. The hotel unfolded as a true treasure, a place where the soul found flight
Nice place to stay, clean and near city
Good value for money, however the breakfast was very poor, completely against the "lux" :p
We're so glad we found this atmospheric place. Thank you to the staff for their responsiveness, kindness, and warm welcome. They helped us with everything we needed to know during our entire stay in Balkhash
Thanks for the excellent cuisine and the convenience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there's Wi-Fi
everywhere is clean, cozy, spacious, but the room is cool, now it is March, a winter month, but otherwise everything is fine, there are a lot of shops, cafes, a canteen nearby,
Good choice for one-two night staying!
Not so far from city center, free breakfast, WIFI, quiet rooms.
Pretty basic hotel, clean room and bathroom, very spacious. Warm water was not working one day and on second day, water was not working at all. Breakfast was very basic. But the price for a night beats all disadvantages.
The soundproofing is very good; you can hear the neighbors' conversations both next door and upstairs. There's no hairdryer or kettle in the room, so bring your own if necessary
We visited Borovoe in June 2026 for the first time. The place is very nice – a clean lake, beautiful mountains, and the restaurants are simply fantastic!
However, the Altyn Kun Hotel was an extremely unfortunate choice
The windows overlook a garbage dump. A double room costs 7,000 rubles per night. They don't sell any food, and you can't just show up and buy food in the cafeteria – only a set menu that must be ordered in advance
However, there is a small refrigerator and a TV. Towels for the pool and your room are provided. Cleaning is available upon request, so that's no problem. As for the food, it's a matter of luck
Barracks are considered to be soundproofed because they are nonexistent – you can hear every word even from the next barrack. The staff spends all day hauling trash on a tricycle, and children are screaming
Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, good breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Kaldyakova in Nur-Sultan features accommodation with free WiFi, 3.5 km from Bayterek Monument, 7 km from Expo 2017 Astana and 1.6 km from Palace of Independence. The property, housed in a building dating from 2013, is 2.
Everything is organized, court, playgrounds, pools, promenade. Nearby there is a horse walking, with the application of certain efforts and finances you can make a horse ride
great place for relaxation and sports.
Expensive, pretentious, luxury place. Everywhere they try to conform to Europe, this effort is noticeable and noticeable, but in principle everything is at a high level, a good kitchen. The place is generally gorgeous
Access to the sea seemed dirty, but for the sake of justice were not there during the beach season
Were here in the restaurant. Liked. Kitchen and interior level.
Only the kitchen is not very good, but everything is fine!
A wonderful place to celebrate your anniversary! The prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious! The hall is spacious, clean, and air-conditioned
Our guests left delighted with full bellies! 😁!! A special THANKS to our waiter, Arystanbay! He made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the entire celebration, constantly answering any questions they might have and helping resolve them! Great job!
Unforgettable lemon and sea buckthorn tea. If you haven't tried it, I recommend it—it's full of flavor and vitamins
The interior is quite excellent, clean. The keys are regular, not cards (not very convenient). It is not hot in the room in winter, but it is comfortable to sleep. It is convenient that breakfast is brought to the room
Karagandy, Universitetskaya Street 28/3 Karaganda 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool
Only two tables nad place is not so big. But overall good place to go
The Karaoke Club is very good and decent prices.
BEWARE OF EMPIRE PUB. The waitresses are very rude to foreigners. They thought I did not understand Russian and believed it was OK to start speaking about me.
Snow-white bed linen and towels, comfortable beds, soft sofas in the corridors, tea and coffee, water, air conditioning, hot water - what else does a tired traveler need? The warm attitude of the staff, the excellent cuisine - Gloria has it all
We really liked the breakfasts, and in the evening we sat in the restaurant - beyond all praise. Thank you very much for the welcome
We spent two days at the Gloria Hotel
The hotel is good, the rooms are renovated, fresh bed linen, there is air conditioning and a refrigerator, but there is a big BUT, the walls are made of newspaper, the feeling of open space: you hear not only how your neighbor snores, but also how he takes slippers out of the bag, collects things and washes his hands after using the toilet
There is a traffic light on the street next to the hotel, and you hear all the "charged" youth of Kostanay until 3 am (it's good that they also sleep sometimes 🤣)
Nice place. Kind staff.
Wifi not so strong (at least on 3rd floor). Hot water, sauna, clean toilets and sheets, towels. Food is ok, not the best (steak at least was dry).
Close to sky.
Nice place in the middle of the way to the mountains
The hotel itself is not bad, quite new, cosy rooms, helpful staff. But location is not ideal
