The hotel was very clean, and the front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, English, and Russian. The breakfast selection was extensive. It was a very large hotel with excellent soundproofing

Fitness center and access to the swimming pool and saunas was included. Breakfast was amazing and if you would like to have lunch and dinner it could be done in hotel

A good place to stay right in the centre of the city. Baiterek, Moskva business centre and ministerial building are in 5 min walk. The room was clean and spacious, all necessities in the room

Our stay at Ritz-Carlton Almaty was exceptional, in fact our fav part of the city as tourists. The best part was the warm service from the staff, in particular thanks to Yekaterina (Kate), Malika, and concierge lady

Good espresso both in the morning from the coffee machine and in the evening in the restaurant from a cone, this happens very rarely

Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work and just heated the room on every setting, and some of the furnishings were a bit dated and had scratches. However, for the price, we would definitely come back

We were primarily interested in Covid safety. Everything is clean, the room is cleaned every morning, with a change of bed linen. Breakfast is delicious, buffet. All the staff are very polite

The girl at the reception is not friendly, but don’t worry, they will serve you and if you forgot something when cleaning the room, they will do it right away when you call! During my meetings, I needed a Business Center service, namely, to print out a number of pages for my presentation and had a quick and professional service from Ruslan, who is, I believe, in charge for Front of the House Services

The breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel is also very conveniently located, close to restaurants and attractions. I'd stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area for business or leisure!

For lunch I ordered a Room Service and had a beef medallion, fresh salad and diet coke, it was served quick and the only thing worth mentioning, the room service attendant forgot my diet coke and it was delivered later, but the rest was perfect

It was indeed unexpected and I was taken aback with this five-star attitude. Had a number of business meetings during the day at the Bar and it was indeed a good spot for private and business meetings

Swimming pool and other tried facilities ok. Our problem was that on Friday night on our floor was some kind of party. We had to leave early in the morning. Though the noise that woke us several times was not welcomed

Ertish has a multilingual staff, so English speakers will feel comfortable here. The decoration is elegant, the massage services are great, and the continental breakfast is nice

The receptionist tried to put me in a smaller room but I was having none of it, and got a nice big corner room. Please note that their double rooms (495sqft) are 50% larger than their deluxe double rooms (336sqft)

I spent one night in this hotel. Reasonable prices, great staff, nice bar. I understand there is also spa but haven’t had time to check it out

The hotel is in a great location 👍 The rooms are very clean. The staff are all very friendly. Best of all, it's spacious and the beautiful Caspian Sea is right in front of you!

The room is similar to that in China in the 1990s. The equipment is old and average. It is mainly a hotel for foreigners. There is a lady at the front desk who speaks simple Chinese. The breakfast is rich and tastes good

Green and healthy food is not available in China. There are many rooms with double beds. It is suitable for business trips. The front desk collected 3500 tourism tax, which is collected separately

The location is good, there is a parking lot, and there are dense business districts around. The breakfast is average, and the price does not match the room facilities

This was by far the best hotel experience of my life. Regis is the embodiment of luxury and in Astana it is extremely good value for money in a majestic city that is truly a hidden gem

The spa and pool was a bonus! I gave it a four because I had to call the desk 3 or 4 times to request basic items like extra toilet paper and extra towels because no one cleaned the room when I had requested it on day 2 of our stay

This morning, the cleaning lady, seeing me going down with my big back for checking out, asked the hotel staff for assistance, and I was also allowed to use the pool (I had it for myself) after checking-out and before going to the airport

The pool in particular is huge and very much adapted for people who like swimming, with a smaller pool for children

I just spent one night at the Rixos Turkistan,and had a great experience. The rooms are large and clean. The hotel is connected with a small shopping centre with a supermarket. The spa and fitness centre are great

The staff are usually very friendly and you can easily find somebody with a very good command of English, which is not always a given in Kazakhstan

view on a side is charming with all the mountains. breakfast reasonable but sometime when crowded you feel something missing on organization level

It was -16 degrees Celsius outside, but the room was only 15 degrees and there was no underfloor heating. They eventually provided a heater, but I still couldn't sleep well at night

On the 14th floor in this place is a great meeting hall. This room hosts many conferences. Good ventilation, a high-speed Elevator, the scene in the hall.

It clearly states check-in is after 2 PM, but they forced me to pay for an extra night because I arrived at 12 AM. What's the point? It feels like a scam. And then they demand check-out by 12 PM

The front desk staff were very friendly and English-speaking. The breakfast spread was quite generous. The hotel seemed to cater predominantly to Chinese guests

Knocking on their door to ask them to quiet down didn't work, and when I called the front desk to address it, they didn't seem to take it seriously. This severely disrupted my sleep

So, the point is the hotel is fully booked OR there are rooms extra? Secondly, we had an odd feeling at the hotel, we stayed 2 nights and the staff barely greeted the guests. They were chatting amongst themselves

The service attitude is OK, the hotel lobby environment is OK, but the room is average

But then she came back to us after 5mins and said if we agreed to pay 50% extra retail price for the room, she would tell her colleague to prepare a room for us

Overall, the room was spacious for 3 and the view from our room is very nice but we will not come back to Radisson in Astana

The room is OK, but a little off

Good hotel. Perhaps 3 stars. Very supportive and cordial staff. Halal food. Good breakfast. Rooms could be a bit better especially mattresses. The location is good. Around $50 per night which was very reasonable.

It's a good hotel, but the room smells very bad. I don't know why.

2 things - (1) should have fly screen, to avoid mosquito. Room can be quite warm even in late November. (2) Stayed in different rooms on different week. Both times, the bar fridge isn’t cold

The best thing is a gym adjacent to the hotel with a swimming pool, machines and a sauna. Breakfast and food offer for dinner in the restaurant downstairs is nice overall as well. Rooms are standard but comfortable

I really enjoyed going to the indoor pool and sauna. On the way there’s amazing art 🖼️ work displayed. Also, a grand piano in the lobby for guests made for some soothing sounds 🎶 ☺️

Reception (Roman, Alex & Victoria) were super helpful during our 3wk stay. The food was good & reasonably priced. Aidana took good care of our appetites. Management checked on how we were doing regularly

The rooms are relatively small but big enough, clean and comfy. The room had a fridge but no coffee maker 😱. Room service was always prompt in coming to the rescue getting me my caffeine fix ☕️

Upon arrival very early in the day & after flying for twenty-plus hours our rooms weren’t ready so not off to a good start. They did get us into rooms within the following hour- problem solved

The only thing is that aircon is noisy but can be disconnected. An excellent experience overall!

I also liked the recreation area, all the saunas, showers and hamam are functioning, a wet steam room with essential oils, a phytobar, there is also a good bar-restaurant and a gym, showers and a locker room are equipped with everything you need, there is a jacuzzi in the pool, enough sun loungers and tables

From the wishes: in the spa and pool area I would like unobtrusive background music, live plants, a dispenser with drinking water (after all, five stars, why bother) and a centrifuge for wringing out a swimsuit in the locker room

Everything you need is in the hotel building itself. If you want a cola or chocolate, you go straight down the elevator to the Supermarket, Pharmacy, Canteen (very tasty and cheap), Hairdresser, Gym, Swimming pool, etc

We lived in two adjacent standard rooms on the 5th floor at the "family" rate, it is cheaper, the bathroom is equipped with good plumbing, cleaning is scheduled on time, the rooms have air conditioners and working Wi-Fi, thoughtful lighting, convenient storage places for things and bags, a full-length mirror, albeit outdated, but high-quality furniture and textiles

Common areas: corridors, toilets, halls, elevators correspond to the level, clean and well-kept. The staff is polite and responsive, drinking bottled water is replenished and included in the room rate

The hotel is in a good location, room is clean abit smaller than when i stayed in holiday inn express but still able to put 2 luggages in the room. The breakfast spread is very good. Plenty of food to keep you full

I was in in Oct 2025, it was only half full when i went for breakfast (i stayed for 2 nights). Breakfast is served 7am to 10am. Just be smart about the timing if you feel the hotel is full

The dining area is abit small but there is still enough tables to serve at least 30 people. I think others who complaint about this probbaly came during summer or peak season

Also i took picture of the aircond because someone else also mentioned, the aircond light is bright which is true. And we could not switch it off since it was not the original remote controller

Very satisfied! Although it looks a bit dated, it's clean, well-equipped, and has a strong Soviet feel. The hotel food is plentiful, and transportation is convenient, with excellent bus connections right outside
