Just got back from here, room was very small for 2 adults and child, some drawer space in room would be ideal and wardrobe very small, noise in corridor outside our room 611 was so noisy even at 2.15 am screaming kids.Bed uncomfortable, saving grace is they are always cleaning so it's spotless.Worst of all was all inclusive hated the canteen looking restaurant and noise is on another level in there, food was tepid at best.Hated the plastic cup system for drinks,no one wants a wine served or cocktail in one of these.Good point was the entertainment for kids is fantastic,

We stayed over easter. Pros: Very comfy bed, courtesy room on check out day (private shower room) perfect for late flights home, good location. Cons: Reception is so slow, all the staff were new and didnt know what they were doing. It was very loud early in the morning you could hear every family on the floor getting up. Overall would likely stay again

Firstly there’s some great points to this hotel - the location, splash park and mini golf are amazing and there’s plenty to do for everyone. We upgraded our ‘family’ room for 300 euros. Honestly, I’m unsure how they can say this is a family room as it’s just two double beds together with no floor space or room to even get ready or store suitcases. We initially declined to upgrade but after a very stressful time of trying to get ourselves and two kids ready and manoeuvre around the room we caved. We then upgraded to a two bedroom suite and the selling point for us was that there was two seperate bedrooms. However, what we weren’t told was that our room had a public terrace right outside of it. We had kids sat outside our room from the pool opening to closing chatting and playing, obviously, we don’t mind as the kids are on holiday but it is annoying when you’ve paid so much for a room and can’t relax or have any privacy. If you have small children avoid this suite as napping through the day will not be possible. We couldn’t open our curtains as people would sunbathe and congregate there and we had no privacy to even use the balcony. We complained about this and asked to be moved, however, we were given a downgrade to a room that had no seperate bedrooms, so we paid 300 euros for an upgraded room to only be downgraded with no compensation. Moving and packing up from two seperate rooms was time consuming and stressful with the kids. The soft play is great as the kids have a bib and security tag on so you can use the drop in service with your mind at ease. The only thing is that this is open to the public and there was a school trip. The soft play is for 4 years and up, it is usually quite peaceful, however, a school trip joined the session half way through in the soft play, the guests children were very young 4/5/6 year olds and the school trip were a lot older maybe 10/11 or could even have been more! Everyone in the soft play who was a guest of the hotel complained to the staff, my children came out crying as they were terrified as did many others. The staff told us it was okay because the capacity is 140 and there was only 70 of them. It’s a big difference between 70 small 4,5,6 year olds and 10/11 year olds. This is reckless and an accident waiting to happen, there is no way 70 school children should be allowed in whilst you have paying guests of the hotel with small children there. This should have been a smaller controlled group with more organisation and supervision it was absolute carnage. The food is okay, we would have struggled to do two weeks of it but for an all inclusive it has a good amount of choice and we managed to make do. The hotel does have some strong points and can understand why so many people love it but unfortunately it’s not for us. We think it’s overpriced and more three star.

We had a fantastic week at Sol Katmandu with our three children aged 3, 13 & 17. We visited in October and the weather was great, it was about 25-27 degrees everyday! There is so much to do on site such as the 4D cinema, golf, splash park, a play area, the popular upside down house and of course two swimming pools. Evening entertainment was great, there was a disco every night for the children and they got to meet the Yeti. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, location was great as there were so many shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms - Standard rooms were big enough & clean with a good sized balcony. We shared with our 3 year old and was provided with a clean cot & bedding. Nearby - There’s so much to do nearby, 2 mins walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants. We walked to Palma Nova too. We took a bus ride to Marineland and Palma which was easy to navigate. Food - So much choice and different things everyday! Plus snacks in between meal times. Note - Golf wasn’t included in all inclusive, you need to pay extra for a wristband to use during your stay.

A wonderful stay, a very well-equipped hotel, perfect for families with children. We especially want to thank the kitchen staff; everything was exquisite, and above all, the entertainment team for their spectacular service. Juan and César did everything and more to ensure our daughter had an unforgettable holiday; we are very grateful. We will definitely be back!

The hotel was absolutely brilliant for families. The staff were amazing and super friendly they could not do enough for you. The children were always occupied which is definitely what you want x It's a shame the soft play closed at 6 as this would be great for kids in the evening x Food was absolutely gorgeous and definitely family friendly. There was something for everyone.

The hotel was fabulous, perfect for our 3 year old. All the staff are really nice and friendly and make a great effort with the children. The entertainment is the best I have seen at an all inclusive place fun for all the family especially the foam party evening we all had a great time. The on site facilities are really great with a splash park, soft play and the upside down house is brilliant. This is all included in the price and you can go in and out as much as you like. I would have given this hotel 5 stars but unfortunately for us the food was very disappointing. The food was often not fresh and you could tell had been sat there a while. There was too many fish options and way too much fancy foods. Keep it simple kids enjoy simple foods. The snack bar was also very poor with only burgers on once in the entire week we stayed. There needs to be more options for kids and less of the "try to hard" to make it fancy. My son is fussy and did not like alot of the food. We ended up eating out alot as there are great places within walking distance on the beach front. To sum up this hotel is fab but the food let's it down unfortunately.

Absolutely loved everything, couldn't fault staff, cleaners etc hotel itself was lovely, close to the beach. My children enjoyed the park and pools/splash park and the food was brilliant.
