The TV had British channels not that we watched it much but it was nice to sit on the sofa and watch The Chase before getting ready for dinner The location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant, steps from the beach and the Carrefour supermarket for water etc

A great little hotel, location pretty much on the beach, food is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We went for a quiet break with the intention of walking, reading, and relaxing

Staff were always helpful and polite, Patricia and Victoria were very good and helpful. The rooftop pool is very good We will return in the future

Swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, small, but clean. Every evening on the hotel terrace there was live music

Is in a very good location, a few steps from the beach

The sunbed situation is fine if you go up in the morning I always got a rooftop lounger went up after breakfast. I imagine like anywhere else it would be harder in the afternoon

Family traveling, booked two rooms. Rooms were spacious and clean, daily serviced. The indoor pool was cold (travelling in January). Breakfast was great value. In overall we were highly satisfied with the stay

The pool/spa section was nice and clean but there are not male/female locker-changing rooms so it’s a bit strange. The staff were friendly and helpful, we requested late checkout and they accepted it no problem

The location is near the city center, the room is spacious, and the TV is new and large. It has a swimming pool and excellent facilities. The breakfast is rich, and there's a paid parking lot

To be a great breakfast you would need: A few more juice choices, pancakes, waffles. Location was nice related to the bus station. Pool was in shadow which was great for really sunny days. walk to SoHo and the old town

This hotel is conveniently located between the bus/train station and the city center. The rooms are clean and comfortable but a bit dated (especially the bathroom)

My room was beautiful with an amazing view of the sea and pool. I enjoyed the facilities , the gym and indoor heated pool as well as the sun loungers at the outside pool

So easy to get to the beach front from Hotel. I had a little accident were I fell and the staff were amazing so kind, caring and helpful. Antonio the manager was lovely. Thank you all for your kindness and help

We have stayed here a few times, and have never been disappointed. The rooms are a good size, beautifully clean and most have a great view, either towards town and sea or mountains and sea

Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries give a wonderful smell to the whole room and to your memories. I stayed in September 2023 in the Premium room with a cozy traditional balcony and an ocean view

Beautiful hotel but only 1 restaurant is officially open and it’s very far from everything They had a adult pool and family pool and indoor pool unfortunately the family pool was not heated Otherwise staff is very friendly and really pay attention to everything

It is located about 100 km from Almeria airport on Vera beach. We had booked a suite which was very spacious overlooking pool and sea. There was jacuzzi in the room itself

The hotel had a lot of facilities like big pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, theatre, 2 restaurants and bars. The garden was kept very well. The beach outside was clean and big

They had a special section near the pool and in restaurant for suite guests. The hotel was totally full with family crowd. The food was quite good and reception staff very helpful

There is a small market next-door to pick up water and necessities, and a supermarket located by the train station. Beautiful views, definitely get a balcony, could sit there forever

The hotel is in a good location close to old town and the beach. Very walkable which we loved but slightly outside the busy hubbub

This a an absolute gem of a hotel. Very central to everything. 5 mins walk to see the Christmas lights, the centre, the port etc. Breakfast is a bit limited but good. Rooftop Bar is lovely. Great place to stay.

We spent four nights here in early November. The location is excellent, in the centre of Malaga on a guiet street. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. All of the hotel is clean with a pleasant smell

Lovely rooftop terrace! Would not hesitate to recommend and if ever we decide to arrange a long weekend in Malaga again, it will definitely be at the Mariposa Hotel!

Property not to large, rooms good size and with lifts. Soft drinks available pool side but coffee only in cafe. 25 minutes walk to Marina and other eateries. Reception very helpful in booking taxi’s and any needs

Lots of places to eat and drink and the beach was a five minute walk away. The pool was closed the day after we arrived but we were only there for four nights so it didn't bother us

The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming though. Overall, our stay was very relaxing as the hotel was almost empty so we had the pool area to ourselves

As a group of 12 golfers we visited for 4 nights, 4 rounds of golf (2 x north & 2 x south), arranged, escorted and coached by our UK pro. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel, very personal and great surroundings

I found it very noisy, being on the ground floor, a single room; too much commotion for a hotel of that category.

Have you ever walked into a room and the people there made it very clear you are not wanted? That's how most of the staff make you feel. The rooms are spacious, but the beds are very uncomfortable

We enjoyed the food in all restaurants and they didn’t disappoint. We tried the beach area one day and we loved it but did miss the very attentive staff of the pool area

In every area the hotel was superb, the very comfortable room, the superb breakfast buffet which provided a wide choice of meats, cheeses, fruits plus individually cooked items, the wide choice of restaurants for lunch and dinner, but above all the friendly, high quality of service

All lovely touches to make us feel special. The pool area was great and lovely views over the sea. Stewards look after you very well. We are breakfast in the Red Room and also some snacks at lunchtime

Every person was kind and sincerely wanted to help. The sushi restaurant had great views of the sea, with first class sushi. Steak house was spacious with great selection

Considering it was raining heavily during our stay, it was off season and the spa was being refurbished (which I would have loved to try!), I cannot fault this place in any way

Some great touches like complimentary minibar and the individual toiletries from Otary are lovely… no big refillable dispensers here thank goodness ! Very classy ! No way I’ve enough words to compliment the upper pool, lower pool and patio restaurants but you will be so happy !

An oasis of tranquility and piece by the sea with lots of amazing courtyard and places to relax, well kept and taken care of. Amazing bar area , furnished with perfection. The whole place makes you wish to come back

Wonderful hotel and wonderful grounds too. We had a deluxe room which was great, with a small garden almost to ourselves. Make sure you take a walk out of the hotel and go into the ‘old’ town to experience the locality

The location was good and being a converted old monastery the hotel had lots of character although some things about our room and the hotel generally did seem a bit tired, We did find it disappointing that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room Also the coffee machines at breakfast produced rather strong bitter coffee but breakfast was generally good

The beach club is conveniently locate and provides a full-service spa, a nice restaurant/bar, and an awesome infinity pool. The service is impeccable -- attentive and always very pleasant

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for three nights. Clean & tastefully decorated and furnished. 5 minutes walk from a very clean beach But it's a bit far away from all the amintes

In respect to rooms, food, entertainment, facilities pool etc fantastic. Some issues around parking hire car, a suggestion for car parking would be to reduce the hotel parking rate to that of car parks externally

But I would need to make a contribution to same, but sometime later Sophia rang back and informed me she went the extra distance and took our case to a director, Sophia was able to get us the upgrade at no extra cost

The property is great, all rooms are facing the sea and the views are breathtaking. There are two swimming pools, the beach ⛱️ is just below the hotel

Only thing to be aware of is the number of steps down to and up from both the swimming pool (with pool bar and terrace) and the lovely pebble beach (with crystal clear water and bar) It is possible to avoid the steps almost entirely by walking around on the road from the hotel entrance

Nice rooms. Two pools. Good breakfast. Beach side restaurant. Fabulous views from balcony. Be aware you cannot walk anywhere so either need a car or taxis to go to Almeria or Aguadulce.

Everyone is there to have fun. I enjoyed getting sun by the pool during the day and the hotel is very close to most of the well-known clubs and bars. The staff were friendly and housekeeping kept the room clean every day

Poolside vibes, nice chilled atmosphere. There's a barber shop at the hotel and you can book through a QR code. My hotel room had a shaving pack which was a nice touch. i'll definitely come back again

The town is small, so i would definitely recommend having a car in this area, unless you're fine with only staying at the pool and/or beach, and staying in the immediate area for food — the area is blocked off by waterways on all sides but you can take a ferry into Isla Cristina for a few more options (also small though) We took a day trip to Sevilla and Olhao portugal from here, which were very doable

, the beach u can go by feet and the city is not that far to

The hotel had 2 + a slide, and daily dances / music to entertain the children attending. We definitely preferred our side, but the sound from the other pools was present most of the day

The pool area is nice but it depends which part of the resort your rooms are in, which pool you can use. Since we were in the appartment area, we had one pool available

There's many exts and entrances to go to the beach, it's only 5 mins away, which is great
