Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars
The pool area was also great, but the maintenance of the pool floor tiles needs to be fixed: many tiles were missing and there were sharp edges. The kids club and evening entertainment was very good
Brilliant place for small groups. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the kitchen and lounge make it really comfortable. The spa is basic but ok for 12 euros. The gym lacks big weights but has enough to keep active
Fine dager
Vi hadde ett helt nydelig opphold, bassenget var oppvarmet og stort, personale var veldig hyggelig og snakket godt engelsk.
Barna elsket tog og båtturen ut til en Strand, det var gratis og veldig fint
Great resort ideal for golfer and small family. The staff was very welcoming. The buffet is expensive for what it is, i recommand you go eat outside the site if you want a nice supper.
Enjoyed our stay in the apartment complex. Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed

Staff are very well trained and polite at all times. Good selection of food in the restaurant and here again the staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms adequate and well serviced by the staff
Cristina who us in charge of accommodation is brilliant and congratulations to bar staff too. We have been 5 times to this hotel and will be returning again in 2026
We have stayed there several times in the past 3 years and will continue to go back. While there is a midday buffet, there is no snack menu though
No complaints at all! Clean, equipped and great location. Staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and comfortable.
Upon entering the hotel you are made to feel very welcome. The view from the reception area looks straight out to the Atlantic ocean with acces to the outside terrace area
On arrival we were told we were getting 2 sea view rooms and this was to be a COMPLIMENTARY upgrade. HOWEVER, on check out we were presented with an invoice of around £212 ( I cannot remember exact euro exchange)

Nice spacious room, big bed, stylish bathroom, fantastic breakfast, safe parking in the basement (not free) and good location. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants in Puerto Banus
The location is great, hotel feels modern, plenty of areas to sit in with a decent sized pool and hotel amenities inc a lovely restaurant and bar
All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile, which made a big difference to our experience. We would especially like to extend our sincere thanks to Francisco in the dining area
I had a good time with my family at Occidental Puerto Banus. It was a short stay but nevertheless unforgettable. The sofa bed was comfortable enough for our child. The main bed was huge, it could actually fit 3 there
The room was spacious, immaculate and had everything you’d expect, plus more…. sink, fridge, free water, iron and board. Breakfast (included) had a massive selection inc cava to make mimosas if thats your thing
We had a wonderful stay at the Occidental hotel and truly enjoyed the welcoming, child-friendly atmosphere. The facilities are excellent for families and it made our stay very comfortable and relaxing

The spa was good as well; you do need to book ahead for massage treatments, but the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are usually easy to access this time of year. The outdoor pool has a gorgeous view and is kept very clean
The food was excellent, with great quality and variety. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the balcony offered a beautiful sea view — a real highlight
Being right next to the sea, with a lovely pool and direct access to the beach, made everything incredibly convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service, comfort, and an unbeatable location
There’s no private beach, but there is direct access to the beach from the hotel grounds, which is a big plus. And for the shopping enthusiasts, the Miramar mall is only about a 15 min walk or a 5 min drive , very handy
The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the motorway. For shopping, there is a huge megamall and a supermarket nearby, 800 meters away, two more a little further. Beach behind a fence, swimming pool on site
Stayed at IPV and overall had a really pleasant experience. The place is spotless, and the sea view is genuinely lovely, the kind you don’t get tired of. The whole hotel has a classic, slightly old-world charm

A bit far (for walking) from the beach. Pool is OK and the garden furniture is good
All the people working at Carabela are fully involved with the customers, they have full of activities for children and adults.
Great hotel but no bars around to walk and have coffee out not many shops there
It was a great place to visit if u want to have a nice time
Rooms need renovation. Buffet breakfast is ok but has plenty of room to improve (fresh juices for example). Price was pretty cheap though. Everything was correct & acceptable. Overall, not bad, fair enough
Restaurant is sometimes crowded but the food is fairly good; for the people more picky there is a cook with a hot-plate grilling fish or meat. Also, the rooms and bathrooms could use some renovation

The staff was very accommodating. Excellent resort for couples (right on the beach) and for families. Safe and convenient. Indoor pool, kids club, tennis, volleyball. And the list goes on…..
Looks like a fabulous place to come for the water either pool or beach
We absolutely loved this hotel! So luxurious with the beautiful view from our room, the pool area, the pool bar, and beachfront access
Lovely hotel at the beach, friendly staff, clean and large pool. Would love to return again.
Beach was fantastic we didn't use the pool hotel is older but rooms and staff were excellent. We paid for the food for one evening dinner, food was ok, lots of restaurants close by which have better value for you euro
We visited in October , hotel was quite and surrounding areas were shut down as it was out of season, we ate at hotel which was only option at this time of year, big hotel good facilities with helpful staff, it is positioned on a promenade that is 3-4 km with a huge sandy beach, I would imagine gets busy in the high season , whole resort looks to be only 15-20 years old,

Really enjoyed my 7 night stay, my room and the whole hotel was really clean all the time. The facilities were great, loved the olympic size pool and the pool area in general
We had a great time in the hotel.
The staff was great and nice.
They have a weird policy regarding the pool towels - you need to leave deposit...
But anyway we liked them
Nice bed. Very good service. Origen restaurant was pretty nice. And shows were correct and fun. To improve clearly the gym and interior pool that nobody use.
The hotel is nice. Theis towels policy is weird ( pay deposit for beach towel) but we had a great time
The staff are very helpful and do a great job with making your stay comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families, couples and solo travellers alike
Excellent location, very nice facilities. Fabulous food

Pros Plenty of pools, good sizes and lots of different ones for different ages Very clean all around Slides are good Right on the beach Plenty of sunbeds each day Food and drinks at poolside bars are good - ice lollies & crisps are included too Cons Queues outside restaurants for food (never experienced this before)
Good water park, hotel was very volme in night, noo good family with little kids, nesrby hotel very few shops, no shops nearby only one market and 4 market with suvenire.
Just enjoyed 5 days here with family. The hotel is 4* although I have stayed at much better 3*s. I think the pools give it the extra star
The hotel is top for children, but very very noisy day and night. Animation is nice if you like it but why so loud?? We love children , but book this periode because normally its school so a bit calmer in hotels
Last year we found always a calm space around the Pool , thats gone now also with the music from animation very loud. This is our personal opinion, depends what every sees like a good holiday
Went with my husband and son (4) and had a good time. I've been to a lot of all inclusive hotels and I think this is one of the best for what you get
The staff were great, the heated swimming pool is outstanding but food and drink is very expensive (especially for Spain)
The detail in the smaller things were great such as the complimentary toiletries packages and the welcome treats due to a birthday celebration. We loved all the different live music performances around the hotel
Our stay at this hotel was flawless. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for. Every detail felt personal and thoughtful.
The staff were all so friendly and attentive! The hotel was incredibly clean and stylish and well laid out
Having plenty of beds to choose from on the beach and by the pool was great to see - with no ‘bed wars’. Have already recommended this place to a number of friends / family
Fantastic week spent on a family holiday with 2 young children. Spotlessly clean, good food and friendly staff. Have no bad comments and would return. We had a lovely room with fantastic sea views.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the beach is directly across the street. The room was always left perfectly clean by the great staff here
This is out 8th or 9th time and yes there are a few changes, mainly the evening happy hour has gone but still one at lunchtime! The rooms are well equipped and spacious, food was delicious and the location to everything is perfect
We will see you next time Angela!
I love this place..great at food , well situated.. there seems to be a happy hour going on in one of the many bars all day. Good value for money..
This was our 3rd stay at the hotel. We like the location and that it caters to adults rather than families. The room are a little dated but they’re comfortable with good amenities
Lovely comfy seats on the balcony. The breakfast was lovely, spoilt for choice

I am very happy with the hotel. Good food and a plenty of choice. The room is very clean and bigger and nice. All the hotel is very clean. The hotel is in front of beach and lovely view to sea. Is very relax
Pool staff was so friendly, had us in stitches with there silly pool side games around 11 o’clock. Was gutted we missed them on the last day. Hotel was clean and breakfast had great selection
We got taxis to local bars and restaurants so can’t comment on what was a short walk away
Not sure of the cause as the hotel are sanitising and cleaning all the time
Wonderful hotel ,clean ,nice rooms great amenities ,very friendly and helpful staff ,food was good had breakfast every day and snacks at the pool at lunch , drinks very reasonable , would stay again
Good old hotel. The repair was not for many years. Gratuito, but in the dining room clean.
Pool is almost no (very little). The beach is not present.
Only one additional restaurant

Had a studio room on ground floor which opened up to the beach, big room with lovely views. Mandatory nude at the pool and optional throughout the hotel
I guess I should leave it till I'm finished here, because I'm still here! But I've rather enjoyed the somewhat unique experience of The Hotel Club Playa Vera. It is just an amazing location, right on the beach
Pool are is lovely with a jacuzzi, large chess board, crazy golf and entertaining staff throughout the day!
Child friendly with slides in the pool although wasn't many children there in our visit
Special mention to Diego who is brilliant! Pool area is lovely and always kept clean. Only negative comment is that the ladies loos by reception absolutely stink!
Will definitely visit here again
The best place for a naturist holiday. Food is average but you can get great meals in the local restaurants. Entertainment team are very enthusiastic. Great team games during the day

Wifi was bad in the last room down the hall. Had no connection at all, only if I moved into and down the hall. I was able to get relocated to a different room with better connection. The gym was ok, but kind of dirty
Thanks for some good reccomendations and kind service from Sandra!
Location is great, especially if you are arriving via train as it's a 2 minute walk from the main station
The service was very good, particularly at reception, where Francisco provided a warm and welcoming experience. The room was clean and comfortable, though somewhat limited in amenities for a four-star hotel
Fantastic stay at Eurostars, immaculate room, friendly staff and a little gift of water and sweets as it was our second visit there
The hotel is located near the train station. The room is clean and wifi is ok. You can rent the e-bikes that park outside.
A very nice room located very very close to the train and bus stations. One of our day trips had a pick up right opposite to the hotel which was very convenient. Breakfast could be better but not a big deal.

Great location, good breakfast. Staff were helpful. Pool area was nice and lots of sunbeds.
The restaurants on the beach served very good seafood. We did walk down past the Marina to Benalmadena promenade but found this not to be as nice as the Torremolinos side that the hotel is on
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Location is excellent, staff are so nice. The pool is really nice but has a lot of missing tiles which are loose around the pool. No shortage of sunbeds at anytime of the day
Only complaint is the room was sort of below ground so we really couldn't sit on the balcony as we looked at a hill. Other than that the room was cleaned daily and at the time of year we travelled plenty of sunbeds
I would recommend asking or paying for a room that faces east so that you can see the sunrise. The beach is a 2min walk and was very clean, the further up towards Torremolinos you go the prettier the beach becomes
The hotel is in great location next to the beach and the marina. We went bed and breakfast and there was a wide and varied choice including fizz. Staff were excellent from the moment we walked in the door

There were a few areas that said Vegan, but I noticed egg and meat in with the selection. It was a pleasant walk to the beach and the pool was amazing. This hotel was a perfect relaxing end to our holiday in Spain
You get a box back in England for the same price. When I first sat on it I thought the mattress was really firm but because it was memory foam I woke up feeling so fresh every day and my back wasn’t in pain

Hotel in perfect condition/very well maintained although opened in 1992
Santiago / Manuela (front desk)
Good mattresses
Good water pressure
Black-out curtain
Great value half board possible
Huge buffet : quality & choice
Staff/Service in general
Drink prices reasonable
Electronic order system for drinks
Nice beach bar
Great sea view
-
No ceiling shower
Not enough coffee machines at peak/rush hour...
Fantastic hotel in everyway ! Bed , service, parking , beside beach , kettle , food , entertainment , pillows, balcony. Reception was very polite and even received with some cava ! Thanks💐 Pool and jacuzzi was lovely
The pillows aren’t wide standard ones so you aren’t so far down the bed. Chilled vibes and staff are all so friendly in all departments. I have family from around the area so will definitely stay again
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were able to park fairly near to the entrance; it might be more of a problem in high season. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English

Next time, we would probably consider staying in one of the hotels closer to the beach area to avoid the steps. The rooms themselves are nice and comfortable, though the bathroom felt a bit dated
However, the hotel is situated on a fairly steep hill, with quite a few steps down to the beach
Oh, and the pool doesn't open till around 11:15 most days and closes around 17:30. When I say closed I mean they actually fence it off each day The shower in the room was quite dangerous, getting scalding hot randomly
The location of the hotel is pretty central so good there too Bad points The pool staff were very grumpy with the kids. No inflatables in the pool, even when it was empty, and the guard was quite rude
Good points The room was clean and the view was good. The entertainment around the pool for the kids was good (which was good as we visited early April so the pool was pretty cold)
The parasols are fixed and don't collapse, so if you want to be in the sun or shade you will spend all day moving your sunbed to be in/out of it
The spa was a bit expensive for a 1 hour stay, no shampoo or conditioner inside the spa. The gym had a limited number of equipment
Fantastic stay at Hotel Polynesia - hotel world resort! Great food and drink choices in the restaurant with appealing meal times which worked for us as group
Excellent Customer service, great atmosphere. This is one of the best hotels that i have ever stayed in.
The food buffé was really good, many options were available. Overall very clean hotel and rooms. My toddler loved the kids club and had wonderful time there
Was also a leak coming through bathroom Ceiling. Logged it and they came quickly to try to resolve sadly the leak despite being resolved still occurred

Good location with lots of restaurants nearby. Would say pool area needs more cleaning. Tables at sunloungers are not cleaned & rubbish from previous day still there
Great quality hotel close to beach. Good buffet breakfast and dinner. Very welcoming staff.
Overall, a great stay! The hotel itself is excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only downsides were the breakfast, which wasn’t the best, and some noisy guests around the pool
Good position central for all amenities. Didn't have to fight for a sunbed!
Kettle & fridge provided but charge €3 per day for safe! Wish other people would stop letting their doors bang early in the morning. Great breakfast with everything you would need
Lovely stay in Occidental. Expensive for what it is but it is a nice hotel with all the amenities you need, lovely staff and clean.

With children, I booked a family suite, which is a duplex room. 8-meter double bed, and downstairs is a sofa bed. After the sofa is opened by the staff, it is also a large bed. The room can see the sunset, which is great
I've been staying at this hotel most of the times I visit Costa del Sol. Very nice concept, and helpfull staff. Needs a bit of fresh spirit
Wonderful and top location my compliments to all employees.
Wonderful place feels like coming home with all the luxury.
The hotel is amazing and ideal for relaxing for a weekend.
Excellent! No more other words except Muy Bien!
Everything was very clean and nice, but the air conditioning in the room didn't work, the dinner was too exotic and we didn't like it, they tried to charge us for parking when it was included in the price and we had to leave a €100 deposit to pay for the drinks and when we left they told us it would take 48 hours to return the remaining amount
The hotel has everything, no need to get a taxi. Bar at beach is amazing with dj from 6pm to 10pm following by another bar by the pool and then disco. The Japan restaurant is beautiful & delicious
THE FOOD WAS GREAT, THE ONLY THING I DI NOT LIKE WAS THE CHEF WHO WAS GRILLING MEAT. HE WAS UNFRIENDLY AND VERY SLOW. THE MEAT ITSELF WAS REAT AND VERY TASTY. I DID NOT LIKE TO MUCH THE BARTENDER IN THE LOWER TERRACE
HELLO, I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WE CAME FOR THE WEDDING OF MY FRIEND. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND PERFECTLY FURNISHED. WE ALSO GOT A WELCOME DRINKS IN THE ROOM FRIDGE. WE ALSO HAD DINNER AT THE HOTEL
Everything was absolutely wonderful, except for the staff at the terrace with the artificial grass. They kept changing the price of a certain wine from one day to the next
It was the same brand, but they claimed the label was either red or blue and that the price would differ—without even asking which one you wanted
HE WAS BIT UNFRIENDLY TO US AS WELL. MAYBE TO OVERLOADED BY WORK WHO KNOWS. THE STAFF WE HAD DURING THE WEDDING WAS SUPER NICE THOUGH. THE 2 GIRLS WERE SUPPER HELPFUL AND VERY NICE TO US
