I really enjoyed this hotel. It is in a nice area and walkable. Also great public transport links. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were polite and professional. They had Spanish and English speaking staff. This was very convenient. I didn't use the restaraunt as there were many great locations in the surrounding areas for food and drink. It is also close to two Large supermarkets.

Clean and comfortable. Housekeeping on the 13th floor were excellent. Reception staff are friendly and efficent. Rooms are starting to show signs of wear and tear.

Good hotel overall. Located outside the centre old town. 20 minute walk. Bus and bicycle are the best way for transport from hotel to centre. Gym is small but staff were very helpful.

The rooms are rather tired but are spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Disappointing stay for a 4 star sup. Air conditioning didn't work. When it rained the lobby ceiling leaked, the entertainment area has no atmosphere, the gym is tiny, outdoor pool was freezing and the indoor pool was too deep.

This is a genuine review and we could honestly say it was a fabulous hotel. We booked a Premier room which has extras like bathrobe and slippers and little treats. This hotel at Peñiscola, Spain by the Mediterranean, is something else. It is not a luxury hotel but is a hotel with a hearth. The amount of delicious food, the sweeming pool and the girls that serve you are amazing. And the prices!! I believe, are unique for such a good service.

We stayed for 4 nights and found everything to our liking. The room was large & spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, great view over the castle, WiFi good. There was an excellent choice of food in the dining room, we had booked half board & enjoyed every meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at the Agora hotel again & also recommend it to our family & friends!

Pastry at breakfast is fully industrial type. Coffee is Netscape machine. The "embutidos" are medium - low quality type. You have some fresh fruit and cereals plus fried eggs, sausages and other hot dishes. The bathroom in our room is shown some aging in the dush but still acceptable. The location of the hair dryer is unacceptable, too close to the sink tap.

Overall I would say my stay here was pretty comfy. Adults' pool was a great surprise and very nice to have, nice views and relaxed atmosphere. WiFi didn't work as expected though (it didn't even reach my room) but worked fine on the lobby. Breakfast was good and comolete. Our room was big (two king size beds side by side,which made for a huge bed) and wide corridors.

Our room (Junior Suite) was nice and very spacious. It has two large and confortable beds. The living room was also nice and has access to a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The cleanless was good and the dinning room serves the classic continental breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Peñíscola's old town and its castle and fortifications.

The best hotel in Benidorm for us. The moment you arrive you feel a great sense of relaxation. The decor is fabulous and the pool area is lovely with a warm pool and plenty of natural greenery. Just returned from our trip to Benidorm and cannot praise or reccomend the Mercure Benidorm enough! We stayed in the Deluxe room which was absolutely incredible. Beautiful views from the room and everything was clean. The only problem i found was that the beer in the minibar had been drunk by a sneaky guest and filled with water, and had the lid put back on. The room is quite big, the transportation is OK, there is a bus downstairs. The service is OK. Because I wanted to change the bed type, I asked the front desk after one night and they gave me a new room. The location is a bit far from the city center, but very close to the Science City. There is also a small swimming pool.

Stayed at this hotel recently and it does exactly what you need for a lively Benidorm break. Great central location close to the beach and nightlife, clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. It can be a bit noisy, but that’s expected given the area. Overall, great value for a fun stay.

The mattresses, in particular, are in dire need of replacing. Poor location and average level of services (whilst the room rate has nearly doubled in the last 7 years) ; the only advantage is the rooftop pool but considering the rates these days for the level of service and amenities (you have to beg to get a few coffee sachets in the room, no water bottle etc.), I won't go back.

Staff are lovely. Straight up the main road to the beach, about €5-6 for a taxi. It was equivalent to a Premier Inn in the UK. Breakfast was standard buffet breakfast. Pool and rooftop was nice. Bar staff were friendly and put the football on when I asked. First drop on the coach from the airport, 2nd last pick up on the way back to the airport.

We stayed in the Helios hotel in Benidorm for 4 nights. What an amazing stay. The staff, the rooms the service all 5 stars. And a huge thank you to Massimo and Maximo for making a fabulous birthday cake for my sisters 60th birthday. It was a work of art and tasted amazing. Had alot of teething problems at the start of our visit where lots of things went wrong. But hotel really really tried to put things right with some superb staff. Especially "Super" Oscar at the bar and Mayte who helped us sort our taxis for the day. As well as our fabulous shuttle bus driver (sorry cant remember his name) who was really awesome.

We stayed here over the summer last year and we had a really nice time. The first time we were given a wheelchair friendly room and so we asked to changed which the staff happily accommodated. There are two pools but it could get busy during peak times. We tried the food at the restaurants and the drinks too which were really nice. Staff were excellent though and as it was a short break wasn't worth moving second night. Often happens when you book though a third party site( not direct) you get poor rooms I was told. No coffee left in rooms only tea, soundproofing not great you can hear walking above, breakfast was poor: few veggie or vegan options, bread is in the bar but everything else in restaurant, not enough tables too busy, everyday I had to hunt down cutlery, not enough staff also slow to replenish food

The breakfast was very poor. There was hardly anywhere to sit and the food was awful. The hot buffet was lukewarm and poorly stocked, no glasses for orange juice, coffee machines out of beans and overall a bad experience. Rooms felt quite basic, there wasn’t any way to cool them so we slept for three nights with the balcony door open.

Wonderful location and fantastic service. Breakfast although a little crowed was good, especially if you go early. Parking is convenient and everything was walking distance from the hotel.

Excellent facilities, lovely suite / apartment. To use the kitchen facilities in the suite there is a local charge of around 15 euro per day. This includes fridge / freezer, microwave, grill, fan oven, toaster, pots, pans plates, cutlery etc. The sea view from the suite is amazing.

The most beautiful hotel, rooms were stunning. Cleaned to perfection every day, room was so spacious and the balcony was massive and overlooking the beach. Staff were so friendly. Christian in the kids club was amazing with our children they are still talking about him and much fun he was. Breakfast was fabulous with so many options to choose from. The pools were great and my children had so much fun...

Second visit to this hotel this year and was just as perfect as our visit in June. From the check in/check out process we were looked after very well by the staff. Room was spotlessly clean/ cleaning offered each day by the staff. The bed was comfortable/very spacious room with an excellent view of the sea. Balcony area was private enough with sunbeds available. We stayed on bed & breakfast basis...
