Just had an amazing amazing stay at Schloss Zermatt! The hotel staff WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to provide us top-notch services! Excellent location that was close to the train station and convenient to town. The room was nice with a view of the Matterhorn and spacious bathroom. The balcony was nice (even if it was right across from the Gornergrat station). Having a drink at night in the lobby by the fireplace was nice. The afternoon tea was excellent as was the breakfast. The hotel is very good, clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and equipment. It has a swimming pool, wet and dry steam, and the service is very good. It is located in the center of the town. It is very convenient for shopping and dining. It is also convenient for traveling near the train station. You can also see the "Rizhao Jinshan" from the balcony of the room.

This was one of my several stays at Hotel Sonne. The hotel is at a great & quiet location, but super convenient to the town center. Service, hotel rooms & restaurant is excellent. Hotel Sonne is an amazing locally ran hotel that makes you feel at home. The service and touch is as exceptional as their spa area. A wonderful hotel with a large, well-appointed room with a luxurious bath, comfortable bed and friendly staff. The included daily breakfast was hearty, varied and of high quality, Our only suggestion is to open the spectacular outdoor hot tub earlier than 4PM so as to allow guests to soak immediately after the slopes instead of having a long wait.

Zermatt is an amazing location so only the hotels and restaurants differentiate it. Hotel Sonne is spotlessly clean (very important to me), welcoming, with plenty of individual space, a lovely spa area, a great masseuse but the food is its usp - breakfasts to suit the fussiest family and the Tapas Restaurant is amazing. This separates it apart from other hotels.

The hotel is right next to the cable car station for the Matterhorn, which is why I booked this room. You can see sheep on the hillside opposite the window, but they aren't black-faced sheep. The sheep come down to the road around 4:30 pm and walk towards the pedestrian street, which is a good spot for taking photos. Everything felt luxurious and comfortable to the touch, and I was very satisfied. Sleeping while watching the stars from the loft roof was a special experience. I was also very satisfied with the breakfast, which was made with authentic ingredients. I would like to return. I was also pleased that the dining room staff greeted me so warmly.

Located in the heart of Zermatt, while the Matterhorn is not visible, the train station is very close, just a 300-meter walk with luggage. Free lunch is available on the second floor. The breakfast restaurant, while small, is excellent. A special thank you to the cleaning staff for returning our phone to the room.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Hotel Eden Wellness. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was ample and the location of the hotel was very convenient to the town and the bus stop to the slopes. Access to the spa area was a definite plus.

Everything was perfect. The staff was amazing, on our last day as we leave at 5a.m. they have prepared an excellent breakfast box. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We stayed at Antare for a few days after finishing Walker’s Haute Route hike and we had great time there. The hotel is in a quieter area but with walking distance to Zermatt town center. It offers spectacular view of Matterhorn from our room balcony so we got the chance to appreciate Matterhorn at down and sunset. We love eating meals or drinking teas while admiring Matterhorn. Nothing can beat that...

Unfortunately, I didn’t like how dirty the carpeting is, so if you’re like me and get grossed out by that, bring slippers...

It’s a ski town, so expect it to be slightly dirty. Walls are very thin and could hear fellow travelers coughing throughout the night. Overall, it was a good stay. It did the job of giving me shelter for the night. 😊

It is a hotel you will remember for a long time. The view from the balcony is magnificent. It is like watching a movie "Matterhorn" from the VIP seats. It is located very close to the Matterhorn Express station. You can walk to the center of Zermatt or take a free E-bus in a 2-minute walk from the hotel.

We had a lovely time here - the hotel was kind enough to allow an early check in. The Sauna and pool facilities are larger than expected and tucked underground where the ski closets are. There is a separate elevator right to the ski closets. The room was large and there’s even a small kitchenette to facilitate meals in the room. The room was large and comfortable with diverse facilities. It had a great location, close to the station, and the breakfast was very plentiful. The service was excellent, and they provided various types of information in advance. The only downside was that I couldn't see Matterhorn from my room.

We stayed here for four days and it was awesome. The service was very friendly. The indoor pool and spa area were great after a full day of skiing. The jacuzzi in the back had a gorgeous view of the Matterhorn. The location was very quiet and right next to the gondola. Within a 10-minute walk, you’re in the main center of Zermatt.

We spent our 10 years anniversary with Suitenhotel Zurbriggen. Doesn’t feel like hotel at all. The atmosphere was amazing that makes us feel like home. We reserved the room #1 which gets us mountain view from our bedroom and patio. Loved that fact it’s family owned and run. They were super friendly and connected. Hotel Matthiol was our favorite stay in Switzerland! This hotel is relatively cost-effective in Zermatt. The room is relatively small, but very design-conscious, and you can see the Matterhorn from the balcony. The breakfast is very good and freshly made. The hotel's spa is very unique and worth a try.
