The Cleveland Hotel, London1 / 30
8.1
London, Cleveland Square, 39-40 (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This was a very good stay. The room has everything. Most of the things are high quality- toilet paper, soup, kitchen appliances, water pressure in the shower. We had a room at level -1 and for us it was perfect as it was super quiet. The only down side was the heating- after 45 min of working it stops. So I woke up several times to turn it on as it was cold. Apart from that, everything else was exceptional
This was the perfect place for our group of four. We loved the location with easy metro and bus access, as well as a quick walk to Hyde park. The staff members were super friendly and available 24/7! We will stay here again.
Our stay at The Cleveland Hotel was excellent. It’s a quiet, modern, well-equipped hotel with great service. Everyone treated us wonderfully, with a 🌟 special mention to Howard—his hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. The hotel is very well connected to public transport (bus, tube, and train) and has supermarkets and shops nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay. We had a family room and it was very spacious. It had 3 huge windows overlooking the street below so there was lots of natural light, which was lovely. The hotel is in a great location and is close to tube stations and restaurants. It's a little bit tired in places but was very clean and the staff were friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Great stay, nice staff, nice location, nice kitchenette, the fridge is small, I would go there again, but maybe try a room in the second or third floor, since the ground floor room I stayed in, was great, but I think upper levels would be even better, but not those floors, where the lift can not go to.
Excellent location , good size room and bathroom . Staff were generally helpful. I love the area.

The origami in the bathroom was a nice touch, quite unique! The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. Even though the elevator was out of order, there were still staff members helping with luggage, which was great. The location is super convenient, near the BBC Television Centre, Regent Street, and Oxford Street. The only slight drawback is that the room was a bit small.
Great location, friendly staff, lovely clean room and modern bathroom, comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities. Absolutely spot on and would stay again.
Even though the room was small, it was clean. The location is also great. Good value for money.
Room was small, the view was hilariously bad as we had a gigantic brick wall about a meter from our window. Our toilet was installed sideways, and we were unable to sit on it properly. Past guests must have had the same issue, because the seat was stuck (broken) to be at an angle. Great location, close to everything. room was not so great. Staff was fine, the food was bland and warm. If I stay here...
A wonderful stay, position , location. Sergio's restaurant across road, fantastic fun xx
Would love to stay here again. Sorry that I didn’t stay longer. Being here was a mini holiday for me.

Townhouse is beautiful and the staff are really friendly. The room was quite cold though and we couldn't get the heating to work on our first night. TV in rooms are very dated and we couldn't cast to them or stream anything thst was a bit disappointing.
The Zetter was wonderful! The staff were extremely attentive. The rooms are large for London (sitting area and very large bathroom). The lobby/lounge area was amazing, especially the fireplace. The neighborhood was safe and clean and the Farringdon underground station is a five minute walk. The food at the Zetter is first-rate and there are several good restaurants in the neighborhood. We will definitely...
Loved this cute hotel! Quiet, great food, super close to the tube…I loved my stay here! Everyone was super accommodating and nice as well.
The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. Its always a delight to stay at the Zetter house, its unique firenly atmosphere and comfortable decor
Very friendly and personable staff and the bigger rooms are wonderful.
Lovely homely hotel in a great location for West End and City. And only 5 mins walk to trains for airport. This property felt like a home from home and is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Cute hotel in a very central location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not overly expensive but not exactly super cheap either. Recommended for short trips!
Fantastic stay, welcoming and friendly reception team, made our wedding anniversary special. Super comfy bed and facilities.
The young ladies manning the front desk all week (Natalia, Daria) were absolutely wonderful and very helpful, from stashing luggage and letting us change clothes before our room was ready, to personally bringing extra towels and pillows to our room, to helping us figure out how to call locally on our cell phones. A lovely experience as always at HI!
The waiters were very friendly.
Close to several metro lines, attractions such as the Tower Bridge and Tower Hill, and within reasonable walking distance of Liverpool train station.
The hotel room is very small, much smaller than it looks in the photos. The room is on the fifth floor and the elevator is broken. You have to go to the fourth floor and then walk up. The hotel does not have a chef at noon and in the evening. The restaurant directly buys food from the Chinese restaurant next door and adds a 20% service charge. Avoid it.

Phenomenal service, excellent breakfast and perfect location. Can’t recommend enough.
Casual four star hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and well appointed. Casual is the word. Staff was kind and helpful. Notting hill is convenient for transport. Several good restaurants and pubs are near. Underground is half block away, though we usually used Uber. It is about ten pounds by uber to most major areas on the tourist list. Dining area is small and a bit cramped, so we went out for...
Choose this one - you won't be sorry Great hotel in a convenient location. Staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was immaculate, well stocked and a good size with comfortable bed and luxurious linens
This is the perfect home away from home. Great locale, amazing staff! Young and friendly with great senses of humor. Love my room. And the restaurant is so good and they have a great lovely patio to eat in where one can watch the world go by.
Very nice Definitely quirky boutique hotel. My single room was entered on the fourth floor, but there were stairs taking me down to my bed and the refrigerator. It was just quirky with the air conditioning because it was warm up where the bathroom was.

The Gore London – Starhotels Collezione, London1 / 30
8.7
London, 190 Queen's Gate, Kensington (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This is a beautiful hotel, but what defines it is its service. Like anything of good quality in this world it comes down to care and attention, and The Gore does this very well. Thank you to your reception team, night manager, bar staff, restaurant manager in the morning and hotel manager, each of you made this stay... exceptional.
Location! Location! Location! For an overnight stay after an event at the Royal Albert Hall, you can’t beat The Gore for a great location … we can even see the RAH from our bedroom window. The hotel is getting tired - the beds are too soft, the bathroom is old with no mixer taps and a noisy toilet, but for one night it’s okay and far cheaper than anything nearby (because their price premium for overlooking...
I stayed at The Gore Hotel, London for one night with my daughter and it was such a beautiful experience. She absolutely loved the room and kept saying she felt like a real-life royal princess. Seeing her so happy made the stay even more special for me. The hotel has the most stunning 60’s vintage vibe, truly unique. My daughter had never seen a room like that before and honestly, neither had I...
كئيب جدا Very gloomy and outdated. It urgently needs an upgrade to the bathroom facilities. Mixing hot and cold water is almost impossible; you cannot even brush your teeth comfortably because the water is either extremely hot or extremely cold. There is no proper way to mix the two, except by using a cup, as if you had gone back to the 16th century. The room lighting is very poorly designed, and...
We paid £278 for a “cozy” room. They don’t tell you they also add a 5% service charge when you check out. Our room was poor to be honest. Small double bed, aircon not great and the plumbing was very old and noisy. I don’t think it represented good value for money. I can only assume the high price was to cover the heating costs particularly in the stairwells. Breakfast was excellent and the lounge was...

Enjoyed the stay as a whole. One comment is that I needed to look for where the slippers are in the room.
Great room and exceptional service. We will def return love the location it’s like being in the country but still in London.
We were very happy with our stay. Comfortable room and bed, great breakfast and excellent staff.
Room was fine and normal day and noght staff were great. Shame all the hidden extras put a rather large extra $ cost to an already expensive part of the trip.management reluctant to budge. Be careful and confirm all costs before requesting something.
£27 breakfast and the poached egg was almost raw. I told the staff, he asked if I wanted something else but it had put me off eating. They still charged me £27 on checkout. Spoiled an otherwise nice stay
Have been staying at Cannizaro house for many years. Still convenient and best available in the area. Great location, good experience this stay all round with staff being excellent and motivated.... but its time for a refurb. Looking old, especially carpets and scuff zones on walls. The rug in reception would not make it into my dogs kennel and that is the area where you get your first impression....

Lovely hotel within 3 minutes walking distance to the British Museum. Inside there’s a lift to all floors. Our bedroom was a superior size bedroom with wardrobes and a cosy bathroom with shower overhead. Had a continental breakfast with my room rate. They had a mini bar where I ordered drinks and got complimentary crisps. A bit dated inside but well worth the money. We would go back
overall, the experience at this hotel was mediocre. we requested two separate beds, and they did not accommodate it. if you’re expecting an AC, the only AC we had was a small fan. the shower is it’s own problem. i heard other families complaining about the shower being too hot, and the lady at the front desk did not help them and actually got mad at them. our shower got stuck and it was honestly so...

A charming hotel. It is old and dated but I actually think this adds to its charm. The garden is a lovely relaxing area. We stayed one night and the location was ideal. Had difficulty finding the bathroom light switch as this was in between the wall and the tea/coffee...
The double rooms are well-decorated and furnished, and the staff is enthusiastic. There's no air conditioning, but there's a fan. Be mindful of hot weather. Considering the price and location, this is a really good hotel.

My sin went for honeymoon and really very happy staying there. Their suite is best.
The hotel in general was very good , well located. Breakfast was not good cold . Staff were excellent . No phone point to charge your phone which in a modern hotel in these days seems unheard of!!!

Located near Ealing Broadway, this hotel is hard to find a better alternative. Interesting experience. You have to use app to enter the hotel and your room. Hotel is basic but in a good location and overall good value for money. Rooms are very small particularly bathrooms. Nice towels and comfortable beds. Complimentary tea and coffee in rooms. Continental breakfast very basic but adequate and good coffee.
The location of this hotel is quite good. It is surrounded by residential buildings and is very quiet and safe. It's not far from the south Kensington subway station, only a ten-minute walk. The hygiene of the hotel was really bad. My friend found a squirming bug under the pillow on the bed. On arrival, we drove to what we believed was the hotel car park, only to find it no longer existed and had been replaced by a building site behind the property. However that was the only thing. The hotel location was central to lots of shops and entertainment, I would definitely stay here again.
Our original hotel booking was cancelled and we were transferred to this hotel and were told that the room cost was £550 a night, I can only guess it was this price as Oasis playing at Wembley. It was ok. The staff were friendly but it has a musty smell and looks like it hasn’t been renovated in ages. The room was cold and I had the heating on blast. There was a very annoying gold heavy chain as a curtain covering the toilet area which I thought was annoying and unhygienic. Great location but I wouldn’t stay again.
The Leonard Hotel is my go-to hotel in London! I can't say enough good things about it. They always handle my requests with grace, even when I'm demanding. I’ve never left unhappy. The staff is amazing and friendly. The cleanliness level is perfect. Also, I’ve tried both the renovated rooms and the old ones, and both are fantastic. They are clean and provide everything I need. I highly recommend it...
Staff nice and helpful. Lift unreliable, heating didn't seem to work in my fourth floor room: no manual/ info. Cleanliness of room OK but could be better (although bedding very clean) Entrance and lounge area attractive. Good location if rather noisy! ( Obvs)
Decent, cozy, older hotel. The staff was professional and helpful. Well located in London.
The room was very small - there was a shower in the corner of the room separated with a metal bead curtain (definitely not ‘en-suite’ as advertised) - the bed was not comfortable at all - the side hallway and stairs leading up to the room were dark/dingy and smelly. Definitely not up to the standards for a room that was $260
Overall a good choice that I would be happy to recommended. I appreciated a free upgrade from single room to classic double. Clean and comfortable room and bed, with responsive air-con/heating. Staff generally polite and friendly, BUT I felt very uncomfortable being asked to hand over my phone when I asked for wifi details at Reception. This seemed very odd and inappropriate. We had the accessible room on the ground floor by reception. No idea why we had that room. Unfortunately our door was just after the Cigar Bar so quite an aroma each time we left/ entered out room.
