Elegant Lux is a lovely hotel! Really pleasant staff and great environment. There are a few things that could do with some repairs but overall, fab hotel with a great shuttlebus to the gondela and it really is close to the gondela anyway.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The rooms were nice and cozy and clean as well. The breakfast was delicious, great variety and also small daily rotation. Perfect budget friendly Hotel in Bansko. Stayed fir a weekend ski trip, its the bottom end of town but run 3 shuttles morning and afternoon to Gondola. The Green Wood hotel is a great place to stay. Me and my husband stayed at the hotel for two nights and everything was brilliant, staff were lovely and professional, the room was very nice, the food was excellent. It was a huge pleasure to be guests of the Green Wood Hotel.

The hotel in general is high value for a very affordable price: nice SPA centre, with the best Hamman I know so far, good airco, 24 hours reception, variated and complete breakfast, free parking space nearby. Overall, should be invested because you can see the passage of time and some things are a bit degraded. The elevator requires maintenance, it gives you the impression that it can break down at any time.

Stayed here over New Year's. Our room was nice and clean, the staff were really helpful and friendly. Every day, we just told the hotel what we want to do and they made all the arrangements/bookings and provided us with a driver. The food is excellent! and breakfast is laid out till late, as is supper: so no need to get up early or rush back to the hotel. 10/10 would definitely come again.

Staff is very nice! Good location. It seems that they put effort to renovate the hotel, so we really tried to sympathise with them. The thing I find annoying is that they promote spa, when 1/3 of it is not really usable. For the other 1/3, it seems as if they don’t want to set it up, if the hotel is not busy with guests.

This is a picture from the pool in Chateau Vaptzarov. The place also has a gym and spa. The food is also good, especially the breakfast where you have a lot of different kinds of food at your disposal. The rooms have LCD TV's with cable and also Wi-Fi. A couple of hours’ drive from Sofia in the very picturesque town of Bansko, the hotel has ample parking space and is vary easy to get to.  Staff, more specifically reception, restaurant and servicing are very courteous and kind. A cheap and easy hotel in Bansko. No thrills and breakfast is suspect but you can’t really complain given our room was less than a tenner each per person. You can walk to the ski lift but they provide a free shuttle too.

Solo traveller. I stay in a one bed apartment and was thankful for the air-conditioning as it was hot outside. Plenty of room for one person and there was a view of the mountain from the windows. I had to buy some microwave cookware as there was no specific items of that kind in the apartment but that was the only thing that let the place down.

Nice and quaiet hotel. Till to city center and to telegondola, there are 600m. There are cars free of charge for telegondola every morning and in the afternoon Kind staff. There is spa, parking, bar, conference hall. Rich breakfast.

Great lower cost hotel, no pool, about 3/4 of a mile from Gondola and main town. Room had nice facilities but I was surprised there was no flat screen TV just old fashioned crt giant TV. Wonderful short 4-day stay. Excellent and spotless rooms, outstanding staff and service, and a lovely spa area. The kids’ playground was impressively clean, which we really appreciated. The food - super delicious. Great location with peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Everything was perfect — highly recommended!

We stayed here at the end of December 2023. Pros: Room was clean, friendly staff, breakfast was good enough, good sauna and jacuzzi. Cons: unfortunately, the sauna is open until 20:00, so after a busy day you can’t get into it. You can hear neighbors noise in the room. No lift to third floor.

Great staff, breakfast and perfect to walk to gondola. Steam bath is massive and a great surprise. Showers are also boiling and powerful and rooms have underfloor heating to keep everything dry and toasty. Restaurant downstairs very nice with 20% if staying in hotel
