Beijing, No.2 Wangfujing Main Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
First time staying here and I had a really great experience. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. The hotel's overall decor is elegant and refined. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely be back. My only suggestion would be for a more varied breakfast. Wishing you all the best!
No bellhop to help with luggage when we arrived. The front desk staff at check-in weren't particularly friendly. The room was smaller than expected. However, the floor attendant was very polite and did a thorough job cleaning. The front desk service at check-out was also subpar. As we walked out, we saw the bellhop sleeping, and as soon as he saw us, he pretended to still be asleep. The only positive...
The Overseas Chinese Hotel, once one of Beijing's 'Top Ten Buildings,' underwent a renovation in 2021 and has been completely transformed. It's now elegant and sophisticated, with numerous artworks displayed in the lobby and public areas. I stayed here last year and was very impressed, so I chose to return for an exhibition at the art museum this time. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive...
Excellent location, very close to Exit 8 of China Art Museum Station on Line 8. The breakfast was rich and quite tasty. Lunch at the restaurant on the first floor was also reasonably priced, and the pancakes were delicious! The staff's service attitude was also very good. Overall, a great stay! 👍
Extremely satisfied! The hotel is clean and bright, the food is great, and the location is excellent. Housekeeping staff Auntie Zhuang was very polite, warm, and attentive. My child even wrote her a thank-you card! 😄
The location is super convenient, right by a subway entrance. It's just a few minutes' walk to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The room was really quiet, which made for a great stay.

The service was very thoughtful. Although they couldn't upgrade our room, they still sent a bottle of red wine for our anniversary. The room facilities were a bit ordinary, but the location near Guomao was extremely convenient. Breakfast was a bit average.
Having stayed in countless hotels, this time my main impression was that the hardware has significantly deteriorated. Although I know Shangri-La maintains their properties meticulously, issues like the faulty door lock indicate it's definitely due for a major renovation. The light meals at the Horizon Club have also declined. Having witnessed the hotel's growth, I sincerely hope to see improvements...
location is good but facing a business building, the room is very clean and service is good. Breakfast is good as well.It actually connected to another mall in the BCD area which is quite convinence.
The concierge in the lobby was very professional and the front desk processed check-in quickly. Although some of the room facilities are a bit dated, the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom amenities were nice to use. For an executive room, it would have been even better if the bottled water provided was mineral water. The food and drink selection at the executive lounge was good, and the service...
The hotel boasts excellent facilities, is well-equipped, and centrally located. Highly recommended! The breakfast was also very good.
Although it's not a brand new hotel, the facilities and cleanliness are still quite good. Thumbs up for the gym! My only complaint is the breakfast – it's honestly the worst five-star hotel breakfast I've ever had. There was barely anything, and the quality was terrible, truly hard to describe. Paying over 500 for breakfast for two adults and one child, it felt more like a 5-dollar meal. I'm so annoyed...

The Westin Beijing Chaoyang, Beijing1 / 27

Exceptional birthday stay with just one minor suggestion! The Westin is truly the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and featured the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The location is unbeatable, and the view from our room was simply spectacular. What made our stay truly memorable was how accommodating the staff were for my birthday. They went above and beyond...
A standard Westin experience, everything was pretty good. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around; it's right by the subway exit. There are also lots of great food options nearby, and a stroll along the Liangma River is very pleasant.
The hotel's location is very convenient. The rooms are spacious, and the service is excellent. The night view is also beautiful.
Stayed there since 2008 and always my fav place to visit from days to week. And next year their brand will change so enjoy
I was planning a Christmas holiday getaway, but to my surprise, the hotel was undergoing renovations. There was no prior notice when I booked, and I couldn't cancel. The hotel service was quite good though; they upgraded me to a room with a view, where I could see half of the city center. The location is also pretty good, with lots of fun things to do nearby. I had a great time on Christmas Eve. But...
This Christmas, I took my kids to Beijing and specifically booked a hotel near my husband's old company. Instead of their corporate-contracted hotel, I chose a Westin under Marriott, and this time, the experience was really disappointing! The room facilities were outdated. I booked a triple room, but it was just two double beds with a small cot crammed between the desk and the dryer! Basically, we...

Cleanliness: The cleanliness was very good, I really liked the wooden floor in the hotel room. Environment: I was satisfied with the environment. Some facilities were a bit old, but the room was large and had high ceilings. Service: The service was very satisfying; anything we needed was delivered quickly. Although our room was on a high floor, due to its orientation, it only offered a view of landmarks...
This time, our family stayed here for our trip to Beijing. Not only is the location excellent, and the facilities top-notch, but more importantly, the staff are highly professional. Our experience from check-in to check-out was incredibly satisfying! Many service staff, such as the front desk and concierge, provided us with thoughtful assistance. The breakfast at Zixuan Restaurant on the first floor...
The hotel's location is superb, close to the subway and several shopping malls, and the room space is incredibly large. The service is exceptionally attentive; every staff member felt genuinely warm and welcoming. The hygiene was also excellent, with towels and bedding all feeling new and comfortable. At this price, it's unbeatable. My only suggestion would be that an upgrade to the decor would make...
Excellent location with great service! The staff member at the lobby entrance was particularly welcoming and enthusiastic. The room was clean, and it offered great value for money. Highly recommend!
I stayed for 6 nights and found the location to be very convenient. The hotel is just a 580-meter walk from Exit E of Xidan Station, which is an interchange for Metro Lines 1 and 4 (making it the closest hotel to Xidan Subway Station). The surrounding area is mostly office buildings, so it's quiet. It's also easy to get around to various places, usually just one or two subway stops away. The hygiene...
Absolutely excellent hotel. Great breakfasts. The staff are genuinely caring. I definitely recommend this hotel to foreigners. Sure, the staff’s English isn’t perfect, but who cares? They really want to help you and happily use translators :)

Liu Yiping provided excellent service. I really liked this hotel and will definitely come back again.
The Kuntai Jiahua Hotel is conveniently located, making it a great choice for both business trips and family vacations with kids. The service attitude is excellent, parking is easy, and the rooms are clean. It was my birthday during my stay, and the hotel prepared a small cake in advance and even upgraded my room. It was fantastic, I'm so happy!
This is my second stay here, and the service is really excellent. The room is spacious, and the location is super convenient for getting around. The staff even helped open the car door and carry my luggage. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!
Comfortable room with smoke smell. Good breakfast but the same every day. Wi-fi not working most of the time and swimming pool not available due to renovation, should have been notified before arrival. Old style hotel that gets the job done with nothing that stands out.
excellent hospitality and room services very excellent.
The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, and they proactively upgraded our room, which made for an excellent stay. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation design, and the facilities were complete. The decor was exquisite and stylish. What I loved most about this stay was Kayla, the lady in red. She proactively called me before I even arrived to ask about my needs. During my stay, she not only prepared a handwritten welcome card but also thoughtfully noticed my preferences and helped me get a quiet room on a higher floor. Whenever I had a question or an issue, she was always quick to respond and resolve it, which made me feel incredibly...
I originally booked a 5-night stay (2+3), but ended up moving to the Marriott after only 2 nights. The Kempinski is a well-established five-star hotel in the embassy district, boasting all the old-money charm with its restaurants, lounge, bakery, gym, and shopping mall. It's also conveniently located by the Liangma River, perfect for a leisurely stroll. However, the service was a bit of a mixed bag...
The heated pool on the top floor of the Kempinski Hotel, though not large, has excellent water quality and a great environment. The south-facing floor-to-ceiling windows are bright and offer expansive views of the city, making it a very relaxing experience to swim there. The Black Forest cake and strawberry cheesecake from the deli were delicious. The breakfast at the New Classic restaurant might not...
Service: Thoughtful, with turn-down service, and the cake was delicious. Cleanliness: Nothing to complain about, met expectations. Environment: Conveniently located near Liangma River, Solana, and Chaoyang Park. Facilities: The pool was clean and uncrowded, with a 15-meter lane, perfect for kids.
This was my first time staying at a Kempinski, and my expectations were shattered. First off, the cleanliness was subpar. There were unidentified hairs in the bathtub, and dirty residue came out of the bathtub's knob. The box holding the toiletries in the bathroom was also visibly broken and in terrible shape. Then there was breakfast. I had specifically chosen a room with breakfast because I'd read...
Booked an executive family room for our May Day trip. The room itself wasn't anything special, but the executive perks were quite good, and the service was excellent. The location is super convenient, and the room is comfortable and quiet. A special shout-out to Peter at the lobby, his service was exceptional, making me feel right at home!!!
I serendipitously picked a hotel close to the subway, and to my surprise, the facilities and service were exceptional. It was only in the lobby that I discovered it was a Chinese 4-star hotel and an official Winter Olympics host hotel!
A very satisfying stay. The hotel facilities are excellently maintained and have clearly been renovated. The welcome fruit platter was absolutely amazing; out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one's fruit platter was the most thoughtful. The breakfast selection was very rich, especially the bread display cabinet.
I chose this hotel when I went to Beijing to watch the Mayday concert at the Bird's Nest. It was super convenient – just take Metro Line 10 nearby, transfer to Line 8, and you're there in about 40 minutes. The staff were all very warm and attentive, and the room was clean and well-equipped. I was really satisfied!
I first visited Beijing in June 2024 and have been back five times since. After my initial trip, I stayed at this Park Plaza hotel for my second visit. The hotel is very close to the Bird's Nest, which was convenient for attending a concert. It's an older four-star hotel, but very clean. However, they don't offer latex or buckwheat pillows. Also, the tissues provided are the small, restaurant-style kind; I'd suggest upgrading to larger, thicker tissues.
For an executive room, it wasn't very spacious. Executive rooms come with complimentary minibar drinks, an afternoon tea (which I didn't try), and a happy hour (dinner) which was a simple Western meal. The hotel is quite close to the Bird's Nest, about an 800-meter walk. Takeout can be placed on a small table for deliveries or sent up by a robot, which is very convenient. It's quite far from the...

The room itself is typical of an older hotel, a decent size. It had twin beds, a chaise lounge, a large desk, and a small tea table, all with ample space. The amenities were comprehensive. It's an older hotel, but the location is excellent, right next to the subway station and commercial areas like Guomao. Even though the hotel is a bit dated, it's incredibly convenient for getting around, making it my top choice for business trips. The service attitude is also great.
The hotel is right next to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby. I was really happy with the cleanliness, service, and overall environment. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time!
This was my second stay, but this time the room was quite dim. The window opened up to an equipment platform, and all I could see outside were air conditioning units. I stayed for three days, and the minibar was never refilled. Plus, there was renovation noise from upstairs in the mornings. At over 600 RMB a night, the value for money is a bit low.
This is an older hotel, and even though it's a bit dated, many of the details are still very well-executed. For example, they have a sterilizing cabinet and a 'Tu Ye' (Lord Rabbit) decoration, which really showcases Chinese culture effectively.
Great location! You can drive right up to the entrance. The hotel's a bit dated, but the facilities are all there and it's super convenient for dining and getting around. Breakfast was really good too.

Let me start by saying: I've stayed in quite a few hotels, and I was genuinely disappointed with this Renaissance, especially the facilities. 1. I've stayed here many times, and it's always as comfortable as ever. The rooms are quite spacious and fully equipped with amenities like a coffee machine and bathtub. For Beijing, a room like this offers excellent value for money.
Even though the hotel has been open for many years, the stay experience was still excellent. Behind the reception desk hung a painting by Zeng Fanzhi, understated and sophisticated – truly fitting for the imperial capital. Waking up to the sunlight streaming into the room in the morning was absolutely beautiful, instantly putting me in a vacation mood, even though I was here for a business trip......

Everything was pretty good, and the location was convenient too! The only downside was that someone seemed to be smoking in the hallway, and the smell of smoke was very strong! The hotel's location is super convenient for exploring Beijing, and you can also check out many popular cafes in Qianmen and wander through the hutongs. It's a shame I overslept both days and missed breakfast.
The hotel experience was great. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, making for a very comfortable stay. Both the front desk and room service were warm, attentive, and responded promptly. It's located right next to a commercial district, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. You can also walk to the Temple of Heaven and Qianmen, which makes sightseeing super easy.
Upon arrival, I received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel's location is super convenient for visiting nearby attractions. My room was soundproofed really well, so no noise disturbed me. The only downside was a few stains on the bathroom wall tiles. Also, delivery services aren't allowed to bring food up to the room; you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself.
This room wasn't as good as the ones I've stayed in before. The bathroom had a terrible odor, smelling strongly of sewage throughout the room while I was trying to sleep. The shower isn't enclosed, and the bathtub is awkwardly angled, making it uncomfortable. The showerhead itself wasn't great; I had to keep pressing the overhead spray for it to work.

The room was very spacious and quiet. The hotel was excellent and thoughtful, offering a complimentary upgrade to a room with an outside window. There are two subway lines within 500 meters, making it very convenient for getting around. There are also food options near the subway entrance!

The room was very clean and upscale, offering great value for money. It truly is a pillar in the CBD area.
This is a perfect location , the heart of CBD area where you can walk in 3 minutes to CCTV skyscrapers and China World Mall center. Just one step down from elevators, you can find food court and China World Mall center is right in the same building. Very close to line 1 and line 10 subway which is so convenient to travel everywhere in Beijing. The staff is very useful and helpful. They helped us to...
The breakfast was great, the service was attentive, and it was clean.
I've stayed at Shared Hotel multiple times over the years. It's located right in the Guomao shopping center, so the surrounding area is great and transportation is super convenient. They have a Shared Canteen with a diverse selection of dishes and snacks, which is nice for meals. The room facilities are a bit dated, but it's excellent value for money and suitable for a wide range of guests.
I had a very comfortable stay here. The location is excellent, right in Beijing's CBD. The service was also great.
Although the facilities are a bit old, they are exceptionally well-maintained! I love the solid, classic feel of these older hotels. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in Beijing's CBD core, and getting a price like this there is truly a rare find! The food street downstairs is also great, and they even have Mao Daqing's steamed bun shop 😁 I'll definitely be staying here again in the future
