Batumi is a beautiful city and well worth visiting, and Hotel Old Town was way above and beyond our expectations. The cleanliness and room comfort are excellent. This is a true value-for-money hotel. I've stayed in many hotels for the same or even higher prices. It offers excellent breakfast and a perfect location. The beds are soft and comfortable, and there's also the advantage of a balcony. There's complimentary water, tea, and coffee in the fridge. Wonderful hotel. The location is top-notch – in the historic center of Batumi. The rooms have a kettle, refrigerator, and air conditioning. After the rain, they even put a dryer in the room. Memory hotel in Batumi is located in a Turkish mahalla. Nearby there are Georgian and Turkish restaurants. Also 200 meters from the hotel there is a store Lc Waikiki, which is very convenient for buying things. Alphabet tower, Ali and Nino, cable car - all within walking distance. The hotel staff is not particularly disturbing. I recommend.

It's a new hotel at older part of Batumi. Rooms are nice and fresh. The area is quieter than modern parts of Batumi and not popular among Arabs etc. Thanks to this there is minimal traffic at night. There are still plenty of restaurants and shops around and it's a small walk to the beach. If you let them know ahead then they reserve parking place in front of the hotel. Everything was great: the personnel, the rooms, the location. BUT the flashing illumination on the facade of the opposite building is nuts! The person who had the idea to install it has to be fired. The flashing light is so irritating. The curtains do not protect you at all. It makes it all look like a cheap Luna park. Terrible.

Calm and clean area but far from center

It's a very nice place with central location. Easy to get around, there is a bus stop right opposite the hotel where you can take a bus every 10 to 15 minutes to the city center. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They give you a lot of touristical information about where to go sightseeing and what to eat. The rooms are clean and peaceful. Ran down. Problems with the room weren't handled properly. We had to switch rooms due to a leak (!) in our room, the new room was better but had problems, too.
