The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a green and quiet area. There are groceries and cafes all around. Different kinds of city transport are also easy available. The room is neat and clean. There is no tea or coffee. It will be my choice next time in Munich.

Excellent stay, spent several days here. The breakfast was healthy and plentiful. The hotel design is fantastic, with a modern industrial style that's both sleek and smart. The front desk staff are proficient in English, and there's a shuttle service available.

The stay was very good. Only the mattresses in the single bed room were a disaster.

We ( three golfers ) were there twice for dinner ( other places were closed ), weather was warm/hot enough in the evenings for us to sit outside for drinks & dinner. Overall the hotel is nice. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the balcony had a nice city view. The room was also very spacious. Only problem was the cleaning. The cleaning ladies left cleaning supplies in our room once and somehow we have 2 shampoos 1 conditioner but no body wash.

It's acceptable, but not particularly cheap. The breakfast selection is varied, and the location is quite convenient with a supermarket nearby. They only cleaned the room once during my three-day stay, so service isn't a highlight. The light was broken and it took a day for someone to fix it. Overall, there weren't any major issues, but for this price, I would have expected better.

I spend one night with my young daughter at this hotel. The room is functional and very clean, the underground parking is perfect. The reception staff is nice but lacks common sense and spirit of initiative, I was in disbelief, maybe some training is needed in this area, I left with a bitter taste in my mouth.

The Mandarin Oriental never disappoints, and its service is particularly outstanding. From the front desk to the restaurants, housekeeping, and concierge, every aspect is impeccable; feeling at home is a true experience. There's a bakery downstairs that opened in 1703—the prezels with butter are absolutely delicious! The Barn café on the corner is great and very popular in Berlin.

Be aware, however, that there is no air conditioning. We were there in mid-Sep 2025, weather in N-berg high 70s (F); cooled off at night but the room was a good bit warmer than planned. Idyllic location and the loveliest welcome from staff whilst we were on a concert tour round Europe. Not all hotels welcome us so warmly and it makes such a difference. The view from the room was gorgeous, great facilities (wellness centre and pool!), lovely breakfast- would recommend!

Everything was wonderful. The only negative point was that the room was very small, and the bathroom was extremely small, to the point that the door had to be kept open. A big positive was that they offered free water whenever you wanted.

My husband and I spent 4 days at this hotel: really nice bar and lounge, comfortable and modern room, strategic position very close to the main squares of Munich where you can take any kind of public transport. Nice hotel, good location, and very clean. The only issue is that there’s usually just one person at reception, so check-in can take a long time. They also have a self check-in machine, but it’s not very efficient because you still need to collect the room keys from the staff. I think the reception area should be larger, and having only one person there isn’t adequate.

Convenient to subway to easily take you anywhere in town. Very nice staff. A special shout out to Andreas, who was very helpful providing information/easy directions regarding restaurants within walking distance. He also would contact the locations to make sure they would accommodate our large group of 8 and have table waiting when we arrived!
