Excellent stay. Clean room with small kitchen/fridge area in building set back about 200 feet from the beach. My room had a private balcony overlooking the beach with a terrific view. Off street free parking right in front of the apartment. Area has several restaurants within a few minutes walk and nice beach for swimming/windsurfing. Great communication with management. I arrived at the hotel after a 20 hour travel to find there was no hot water for shower. Over the next week, there was no hot water about half the time. This is totally unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The food and staff are good. The internet drops off often. Shower head was cracked and water would just pour in.

Great hotel! We were a big family gang with 6 toddlers. The water park has slides for adults, slides for kids and baby area. The free cocktails' selection was nice. Food was excellent and the team very friendly and efficient. It is also just 15 min drive from the airport. The only downside is the neerby power plant - our room faced it and it was noisy and ugly. Yet, it was a perfect vacation.

Our stay at the Atlantica Akti Zeus was absolutely fantastic! The food was a real highlight – incredibly delicious and so diverse. Lovely hotel, scenic setting, welcoming staff and very responsive indeed. Family run, can’t fault it. Like many Cretan hotels, they only do breakfast, not evening meals.

Amazing hotel on the west side of Plakias, close to the center, opposite the beach with a stunning view of the Libyan Sea. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms make the stay at the hotel enjoyable. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is very helpful with a smile. We definately stay here again and we recommend it to anyone visiting Plakias.

Hard to say where to start: the people working in the hotel were extremely helpful and nice; there are several comfortable beaches in walking distance; the view from the balcony at the seas and sky has no comparison; the breakfast was plentiful and tasty.... perfect place to spend a lazy, peaceful vacation

I took my 16 year old granddaughter for a week to this hotel. Staff were friendly , nothing was too much trouble for them! Hotel is clean and rooms are cleaned every other day. The only negative would be the "all inclusive" is not what I am used to. Continental breakfast every day with either boiled egg, fried or omelette on different days. Lunch and dinner are set meals, no choice of anything different...

The hotel is located near the main road, and two large supermarkets are about a five-minute walk away, while the beach is a ten-minute walk. All round good service but had problems with the A/C, bunk beds were slack and flimsy, food was a bit canteen ish and not a great choice, add more alcohol to the all inclusive list because what you have is not much and fix your slides because where they join together needs to be filled as there like a cheese grater when you go over them. Although rooms are outdated, but staff it providing daily cleaning and towel change. Buffet is great , plenty of food with nice variety during lunch. Please with kinds and family is great. Everything for the family stay is here. Plenty of attraction, few pools and bars. Few accesses to the beach. Besides that location is great- everything nearby including clubs bars and restaurants.
